Downstairs, there is a double bedroom and spacious bathroom whilst the first floor is home to two further double bedrooms, both with air-conditioning, sharing a separate shower room.
The gardens are one of the villa’s loveliest and most authentic features. Dappled sunlight filters through tulip, oak and olive trees, while a hammock sways gently beside the private pool. Children can splash in the shallow ‘plage’ entry while adults bask on sun loungers or gather around the little summer kitchen for meals cooked over the plancha or to grab cool drinks from the fridge-freezer. Set in the small village of Pailhès, Les Sentinelles is just 2km from Thézan-lès-Béziers, a lively local hub with shops, restaurants and bike hire. The beaches of Valras-Plage and Sérignan are within easy reach, as are the winding trails of the Haut-Languedoc. Spend a day canoeing on the River Orb, or wander the ancient streets of Béziers with its vibrant market and historic charm.
