Wi-Fi is available, though many may choose to switch off and soak in the unhurried atmosphere. Upstairs on the first and second floors five double bedrooms provide a comfortable retreat for couples or a small family, served by 2 generous bathrooms.

La Forge is located in the remote village of Villarzel-du-Razès in the Aude countryside. Just 30 minutes from the storybook ramparts of Carcassonne and its international airport, the cottage offers rural simplicity without being too isolated. There is a restaurant on the edge of the village, while Limoux, around 20 minutes away, offers a full range of shops, bakeries and excellent restaurants – try its excellent sparkling white win.
