Listen to the sound of the waves from the terrace and balcony at La Tour, a beachfront holiday house in Normandy. This unique brick tower right on the beach enjoys a dramatic view over the sea. It’s perfect for any couple or small family wanting a one-of-a-kind experience.

Built in 1865 by a painter, the tower has been completely renovated to retain its charm, maximise space and provide the modern comforts. The two bedrooms, on the first and third floors, include a double bedroom with a terrace and another with three single beds, one in a loft. Shower after the beach in a convenient ground floor bathroom. The kitchen has up to date appliances like a glass electric hob, and the cosy sitting room opens up to the balcony.

La Tour is conveniently located in the quiet village of Côte Fleurie between the well known resort of Deauville and the historic port of Honfleur. Deauville has plenty to entertain everyone, with a casino, golf, tennis and riding, as well as both fine dining and small charming bistros.

Reach this creative house from the Deauville airport and train station (5 km) and the Le Havre ferry port (30 km).

  • We Loved It

    Posted by Lucy on 14/09/2017

La Tour was lovely. The owners had thought of everything down to wellies for bad weather and local information.

  • Absolutely love this place!

Posted by Lucy, Steve, Bryn and Archie. on 08/09/2017

You have thought of everything. We were very grateful for the wellies! We have had a fabulous time and all of us want to come back. It didn’t matter that the weather wasn’t great. La Tour was!

  • Thank you for such an amazing accommodation!

Posted by The Allens, Fareham, (England). on 25/08/2017

Our boys (3 and 5) have truly enjoyed it. A hand or rope rail wouldn’t go a miss but our little ones did just fine on the stairs. The locals are fantastic and everyone always says « bonjour ».
We came here to find out more about our grand father who fought in WWII at Sword Beach. The information we found was far more than we even expected. We have made memories here that will last a lifetime by ourselves, children, and hopefully grandchildren one day.
We will be recommending this place to everyone.
    Thank you! Merci!

  • Wonderful Stay!

Posted by The Cavalier Family on 05/08/2017

Thank you for a fantastic stay in « La Tour »! The entire tower was well stocked and we thoroughly enjoy the view!

PS: Shame about the weather but as we’re British, we’re used to it !

  • It was a very special holiday!

Thank you so much for a great stay.
We loved the tower and especially the view.

  • Second visit, Merci beaucoup!

We love it here. Thank you!

  • Magnificent property with amazing service!

Posted by David C on 29/10/2015

Magnificent holiday venue accompanied by very good service that I highly recommend. It has all the comforts whilst only being a few metres from the sea!

  • Wonderfully unique and tranquil experience

Posted by James S on 15/07/2015

A totally unique experience staying in a tower with a wonderful panorama view of the sea. You can spend hours sitting on the balcony, watching the tide go in and out and the ships coming into Le Havre in the distance. At night when the the tide is in, the sound of the sea is fantastic and almost feels like you are sleeping on the beach.
The tower itself is nicely decorated, clean and kitted out with everything you might need on a holiday. The furniture and fittings are intelligently laid out to maximise the space at all levels so it doesn't feel so cramped.
Viverville itself was a charming, quiet seaside town with a few bistros and shops, perfect for escaping the usual hoards of tourists elsewhere on the Normandy coast. Definitely worthy of the 5 star rating, although there is a lack of free parking on site (although plenty on the side streets behind the tower) and some evenings when the tide is out you get the occasional teenagers listening to music on the sea front until late at night.
