This is no ordinary villa but more an amazing combination of intimate hotel-style spaces and museum - only it’s just for you! On a hillside beneath the lovely village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, there are wonderful views towards the Mediterranean shimmering in the distance.
It will be fun getting familiar with the layout - the glass enclosed reception atrium with grand piano, the sleek marble floors and stairways, vaulted and pillared halls, quirky pieces of art and sculpture, balconies or terraces in all six bedrooms and the beautifully positioned living and dining areas.
Don’t worry though, it’s far more practical and comfortable than a museum with its comfy beds and sofas, modern fully equipped kitchen and superb en suite bathrooms. The huge palm shaded terrace is dotted with tables and chairs above the swimming pool and expansive lawns with olive trees.
Saint-Paul-de-Vence, less than 1km away, was discovered by a group of Impressionist painters in the 1920’s and has been visited by stars and celebrities over the decades. There are fabulous views from its ramparts, a Fragonard perfume shop, two Michelin starred restaurants and galleries and workshops maintain the village’s “arty” feel.
The world-famous temple of contemporary art, Fondation Maeght, is just up the hill. After a visit to this amazing museum, stop for lunch in the village or buy your baguettes at the bakery before heading back to your villa for an afternoon of swimming in the pool and relaxing with a book on one of the terraces.
When it’s time to leave your splendid villa and exquisite village to head for the coast there are so many choices of destination. The nearest stretches of sandy beaches with plentiful watersports are at Cagnes-sur-Mer with the more iconic Côte d'Azur resorts such as Cannes, Juan Les Pins, Antibes and Nice are all within easy driving distance.
For yet more stunning scenery, spend time in Mougins, Biot or Grasse or explore the French markets in exquisite places such as Vence and Valbonne.

Outdoor Pursuit & Activities
You will find L’Atrium in a residential area beneath the charming village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence in the Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur region of south-eastern France.
Saint-Paul-de-Vence is less than 1km away, either a short drive or some guests are happy to stroll into the village (do note the first part of the walk is along the road so care needs to be taken, then after approximately 100m it's possible to walk along the pavement).
It is a lovely perched hillside village, “discovered” by a group of Impressionist painters in the 1920’s. It has kept its arty feel, attracting many artists and celebrities over the years as well as being a working village in its own right. Walk the ramparts for views towards the sea, visit the Fragonard perfume shop and dine at one of its two Michelin starred restaurants. Be sure to see Folon’s masterpiece in the Chapelle des Pénitents Blancs and the world famous Fondation Maeght (just up the hill near the village) which houses one of finest collections of 20th century art in Europe.
Nearby Vence, a short drive away, is a beautiful medieval town at the foot of the Baous mountains with ancient walls, narrow streets, shady fountain filled squares, daily markets and the artistic masterpiece of the Chapelle du Rosaire designed and decorated by Henri Matisse.
When it’s time to leave your splendid villa to head for the coast there is plenty of choice. The nearest beach is at Cagnes-sur-Mer, a 3km sandy stretch with a palm planted promenade and a huge range of summer watersports. The bustling town is the home of Nice’s football team, a 10 screen cinema, Casino, restaurants, Hippodrome, Musée Renoir and a huge outdoor shopping centre called the Polygone Riviera.
If you aren’t a natural shopper you might now be missing the Provençal charm surrounding your villa, so just head to the town’s hidden gem of Haut-de-Cagnes, climb up the narrow lanes or take the shuttle bus to the top. The little fishing port at Cros-de-Cagnes is also well worth a visit.
At the end of the long beach of Cagnes-sur-Mer, the old village of Villeneuve-Loubet stands on a hill with the new town reaching down to the sea. The nearby open space of Parc de Vaugrenier houses a chateau and ancient woodlands.
You may just prefer to head straight to beautiful Nice or eastwards towards the charm of Antibes, the buzz of Juan-les-Pins and the lure of Cannes, all with their own brand of glamour and fantastic beaches.
Go back inland to explore the delights of Mougins, Biot, Opio and Grasse or visit the markets in exquisite Valbonne. If you love the great outdoors, the 500 hectares of the Parc de Valmasque provide a wonderful setting for walking, cycling and horse riding. Lac de Saint-Cassien has summer water sports and golfers will love the prestigious Royal Mougins Golf Resort, one of many golf courses in this region.
