This contemporary villa is beautifully appointed, enjoys exquisite furnishings, offers families exceptional outdoor space and is located in a wonderful position where you can fully relax. Next door is an identical villa, Villa Vjeko which could also be rented at the same time so that you can enjoy a holiday with friends or extended family. In total, if you booked both villas you could sleep up to sixteen if you are willing to use the sofabeds.

Sevid is a delightful small town, next to Vinisce and very close to Trogir. It is also within very easy reach of some of Istria’s wonderful towns and villages. Sevid is surrounded by unspoiled nature and boasts crystal clear sea, some lovely concrete and pebble beaches and a rich gastronomic offering. It is calm and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the busy resorts. The local residents are busy growing grapes and olives and fishing. You will dine in style on anchovies, Dalmatian smoked ham, goats cheese from the Dalmatian hinterland, olive oil, delicious lamb and fish, shrimps, clams, lobsters and wash it down with yummy local wines. You will enjoy trips to the nearby islands where you will discover secluded beaches and escape the crowds. The best towns to visit are Sibenik, Trogir and Split. You can hike in the Mosor and Kozjak mountains and enjoy stunning panorama. For evening entertainment, you can head to Trogir, Primosten, Rogoznica and Split.

Interior designers have waved their magic wands over Villa Sevid. This is no bland villa, there is colour, brilliant co-ordination and fabulous soft furnishings making it feel indulgent and luxurious. The open plan living area enjoys three gorgeous zones, all brought together through the warm, attractive floor tiles that enjoy green and rusty orange tones. The living area offers orange curtains and sumptuous moss green sofas and chairs, perfectly positioned to enjoy the television. Next comes the beautiful dining space with its vibrant orange and grey upholstered dining chairs and multicoloured lighting. The chef’s dream of a kitchen enjoys grey and wood tones and yet more orange curtains. It all looks wonderful and flows beautifully. The kitchen boasts the best of appliances and a sociable breakfast bar. The chef in your group will not be left slaving away without company in Villa Sevid. A wall of glass doors opens to the first of your terraces and a lovely alfresco dining space.

The bedrooms are very stylish, dreamy retreats which boast sumptuous queen size beds, all beautifully dressed and with fabulous upholstered headboards. They enjoy feature walls, two with contemporary wallpapers and they all boast a fantastic ensuite bathroom. The master bedroom enjoys an in-room ensuite with a freestanding bath and a walk-in shower. You will be very pleased if you pick straws and win this one though you certainly will not be disappointed with either of the other two. You will find beautiful tiling and top notch fittings in the bathrooms.

Your outside terraces and gardens are a wonderful surprise. They are tiered with the lower tier being home to an exceptional children’s playground. They will spend hours on the swings, sliding down the slide, throwing balls into the nets and playing table tennis. The next level is home to your wonderful, generous sized swimming pool which is surrounded by luxurious loungers and parasols as well as an adults swing. Here you can enjoy the Croatian sunshine, the spectacular sea views, cocktails and other refreshments and your holiday books. Above the pool you will find a delightful garden area and steps leading to a raised terrace where you can enjoy delicious alfresco meals cooked in your kitchen just inside or on the Weber barbecue. To complete the picture, guests enjoy a fabulous roof terrace with a sumptuous alfresco lounge area and a jacuzzi enjoying the most splendid views.

Villa Sevid enjoys an exclusive, hillside location in the small town of Sevid, very close to both Trogir and the beautiful towns of Istria. Sevid enjoys a well indented part of the Croatian coastline so is popular with those that want to rent boats and explore. Sevid is 12 km west of Trogir and 16km from Primosten, enjoying a delightful bay with several islets in front of it. The coast is rocky with several pebble beaches and some concrete sunbathing decks. It is popular for snorkeling, diving and exploring the coast and its abundant underwater life. Sevid snoozes away as time appears to have stood still in this tranquil Dalmatian village with its whitewashed villas and terracotta roofs following the bay.

Next to Sevid is Vinisce, a small, sleepy fishing village 30km from Split. It is situated in a beautiful cove with warm, crystal clear sea and among attractive olive groves. It enjoys several markets, bakeries, restaurants, café bars and a small harbour for fishing boats. During the summer, the people of Vinisce organise summer festivals where you can sample homemade specialities and wines and enjoy the outdoor evening concerts whilst sitting in a harbour side café.

Seget Donji boasts numerous restaurants serving delicious Dalmatian cuisine and local wines. There is a water taxi at the beach where you can head over to Trogir. The promenade is delightful and leads you towards the end of the bay and the wonderful Medena complex with excellent facilities and watersports. This pretty village is a wonderful starting point for hikers and bikers. The sparkling new Marina Baotic is very attractive with a fantastic restaurant.

Primosten, thirty minutes up the coast offers sublime views along the coast and islands, especially at sunset. It also boasts cafes, beach bars and a quayside buzzing with diners. It is much busier with tourists strolling along its elegant paved promenade. The Our Lady of Loretto statue, a shrine to the Virgin Mary, stands above Primosten on Gaj hill. The site offers panoramic vistas of the resort. Primosten offers some lovely beaches, the most famous being Raduca Beach. The town also boasts one of the best known clubs in Croatia, Aurora, which regularly attracts the very best DJ’s.

Rogoznica is also worth a trip. It lies on a peninsula that was formally the island of Koper. The town has one of the most beautiful ports and locals engage in farming, fishing and tourism. It boasts some wonderful, historic churches and a salt lake called ‘Dragon’s Eye. The beaches are lovely with plenty of watersports.

The villa is within easy reach of Trogir, Split, the spendid Krka waterfalls and Sibenik (50km). Trogir offers so much in the way of beaches, entertainment, scenery and restaurants. It is set within medieval walls on a tiny island, linked by bridges to both the mainland and to the far larger Ciovo Island. The Cipiko Palaces and St. Lawrence Cathedral are examples of the town’s incredible architecture. Building work started on the cathedral in 1213 though the main part wasn’t completed until 1250 and the bell tower was built between the 14th and 16th centuries. Visitors can climb the bell tower to appreciate the spectacular views from the top. The Cipiko Palaces were home to the town’s noble family in the 15th century. It is little wonder that Trogir was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1997. On summer nights everyone leaves the knotted, maze-like marble streets and heads to the wide seaside promenade lined with cafes, bars, restaurants and luxury yachts. You will find local honeys, wines, olive oils and grappa amongst the colourful local fruit and vegetable produce at the wonderful market.

hildren will love staying at Villa Sevid. It will feel like their private paradise with a very special playground at the end of the garden with a slide, swings, nets and table tennis. The pool is excellent plus inside there is Playstation 4 and television should they be tired at the end of the day.

There are many little coves and beaches close by including a small pebble beach just 750 metres from the villa. Primosten boasts the lovely Velika Raduca Beach. Other popular beaches include Rozac Beach, Okrug Beach, Mavarstica Beach, Copacabana Beach and Marinova Draga Beach. On Ciovo Island, across the bridge from the old town of Trogir, the largest beach is Okrug Gornji though it does get crowded in summer. The pebbly, Kava Beach at Slatine is less crowded. Boat trips can be taken from many places including Primosten, Trogir or Split to the wonderful Croatian islands. The trips usually include swimming and snorkeling in the sea. The Blue Lagoon on Drvenik Island is spectacular. You can visit Bisevo Island and the coastal town of Komiza and explore the epic Blue Cave and Stiniva Bay. The Blue Cave is so amazing with the blue light. It is 24m long and 10-12m wide with two openings. The underwater canopy through the cave floods with sunlight which, when it passes through the water at first disappears and then fills the entire cave with a silver-blue resin.

Trogir has much to enjoy with the tower of St Lawrence Cathedral to climb and the walls of Fortress Kamerlengo to scale. Teenagers will love the Laganini Beach Club on Ciovo with its laid back appeal and lounge music. Croatia is perfect for eating out as the atmosphere is so laid back and family orientated. Everywhere you will see extended families out, with all generations dancing and singing in little squares.

The Krka National Park is a fabulous day out from the villa with children. The Skradinski Buk and Roski slap waterfalls are so amazing. Just remember to take swimming costumes as you can swim in the water there. The Kornati National Park is an archipelago of 89 small islands that is best seen by private boat tour. Local products such as olive oil, honey, natural cosmetics and artifacts can be bought as souvenirs.
