Located in the historic village of Mimice, just a kilometre from the beach, Villa Polly is a stylish four-bedroom retreat for up to eight guests. With far-reaching views over the Adriatic, the villa’s 8-metre by 4-metre pool is framed by a spacious sun terrace and outdoor dining area, perfect for soaking up the coastal sunshine.

Designed for relaxed living, the villa’s interior blends comfort and functionality. The kitchen is well-equipped with modern appliances, including a wine cooler, coffee machine and ice cream maker, and offers direct access to the terrace. On the lower ground floor, a contemporary lounge opens onto a shaded outdoor seating area, all enjoying uninterrupted sea views.

The villa’s layout ensures privacy and comfort for all guests. A king-size bedroom with en suite and a private gym sit on the lower level, while the mezzanine master suite features a walk-in wardrobe, TV, and en suite with bath and shower. Two further en suite bedrooms, a king and a double, occupy the upper level.

Just a short walk from local amenities, Villa Polly is ideally placed for exploring the Dalmatian coast. The riverside town of Omiš, vibrant city of Split, and scenic Krka National Park are all within easy reach, along with boat trips to Brač and other nearby islands.

Approximately twelve kilometres east of Omiš, the coastal village of Mimice enjoys a peaceful setting on the Dalmatian Coast, with views across the Adriatic towards the island of Brač. Within easy reach of Makarska and just one hour from Split, it offers a convenient base for exploring this scenic region.

Nearby Omiš is a town rich in history and character. Once home to the Adriatic’s most feared pirates, its dramatic riverside setting at the mouth of the Cetina is now known for outdoor pursuits such as rafting, canyoning and canoeing. The Old Town, backed by steep cliffs, features historic landmarks including the Mirabella and Starigrad fortresses, and is dotted with traditional churches and a Franciscan monastery.

The Dalmatian coast is a veritable treasure trove of stunning landscapes and historic towns, and Omis, situated halfway between the famous port city of Split and the energetic town of Maksarka, is no exception. With its rich history, scenic backdrop, and a plethora of attractions, Omis stands out as a unique and captivating destination for those seeking to explore the charm of Croatia. The town's history is deeply intertwined with its dramatic geographical setting, which is dominated by the imposing Cetina River Canyon and the Mosor Mountain Range.

The old town of Omis, with its narrow cobblestone streets and stone houses, is a place where history and culture converge. It’s a charming place to explore on foot and soak up the local way of life. There are a number of historic churches that you’ll come across while exploring - the Church of St. Michael, the Church of St. Peter, and the Church of St. Rocco, which all showcase intricate architectural details and a sense of reverence. The old town is also home to an abundance of restaurants, cafes, and local shops, it’s an excellent spot to savour authentic Croatian dishes and find unique souvenirs.

One of the most prominent historical attractions in the town is the Mirabella Fortress, often called Peovica. Perched high on a rocky outcrop, this fortress was built during the 13th century and was used as a hideout by the notorious Omis pirates who terrorised the Adriatic Sea. Today, visitors can climb up the steep path to the fortress and enjoy panoramic views of the town, the coast, and the surrounding landscapes.

Omis boasts a pristine stretch of coastline with a variety of beaches, each catering to different tastes. One of the most popular is the sandy beach at the mouth of the Cetina River, offering calm waters perfect for swimming and sunbathing. Adventurous spirits may prefer the pebbly beach of Brzet, known for its perfect conditions for windsurfing and kitesurfing. Just a short drive from Omis, there's the small village of Stanici, which is renowned for its unspoiled beaches and crystal-clear waters.
