A beautiful stretch of coast extends north of Dubrovnik, and Orašac can be found along it, about 16km from this impressive city. Idyllic beaches like Plaza Orašac and Zaton Bay line the coast, while olive groves and vineyards are common features of the wider area. Not far east of Dubrovnik. There are shops and restaurants nearby, as well as hiking trails.
South of Dubrovnik, Cavtat’s pretty marina looks out on a stunning mountain scene and is well worth seeing. Cavtat has a rich history and cultural attractions that you may want to investigate, including the Rector’s Palace and the House of Vlaho Bukovac, dedicated to a noteworthy local artist. Beyond Dubrovnik Airport, Molunat’s sandy beaches and fragrant pine woods make it an appealing place to stop – there are also some highly recommended restaurants there.
