Komiža is a fairly small town but it has a lot to offer. The spectacular setting lends itself to any outdoor activity, whether it’s sailing, swimming or simply dining at one of the many excellent restaurants. If it looks strangely familiar, you may have seen it featured in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again – organised tours can take you to the locations seen in the film.
Gastronomy plays a big part in life on Vis, so be sure to sample some of its treats during your stay. Seafood is big, with octopus and squid regulars on the local menus.
