Surrounded by greenery and the open Croatian countryside, in the Sinj area, lies villa Forest. The grounds of the villa are perfect for your whole family to enjoy and make the most of the sun. A tennis court with floodlights is ready for you to play day or night. The grounds at the villa is spacious with plenty of grass for children to play on.
A spacious patio lies at the back of the villa, with a large pool in the middle. The private pool is heated with a no chlorine system and surrounded by sun loungers and parasols. Egg chairs sit by the walls of the villa with a lounge area so you can relax. An outdoor gym is near the patio so you can maintain your routine in the Croatian sunshine. Complete with an exercise bike, a multifunction device, and a rowing machine.
Under the shelter of the first-floor balcony, is an alfresco dining table with eight seats surrounding it. Off the patio is a separate building known as the games room. Inside the games room is a pool table, flat-screen TV, PlayStation and bean bag chairs.
Heading inside the villa from the patio you are greeted with an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining table. The kitchen is modern, with all-black cabinets and countertops with a wooden island and breakfast bar. The kitchen is supplied with all the appliances including a refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, coffee maker and toaster. A sleek glass dining table seats eight guests is near the floor-to-ceiling windows. Circular lights hang overhead. A comfortable lounge is to the side of the room. A grey corner couch sits in front of a flat-screen TV with foot stalls and coffee tables in between. From here there is another door leading out to the patio, with a indoor plant adding green against the white walls.
All four bedrooms are on the first floor and have access to a spacious balcony. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, an en suite bathroom with a shower and a free-standing bath. Two of the bedrooms have a king-sized bed, ensuite with walk-in shower. The last bedroom has twin beds, perfect for children sharing, with its own ensuite bathroom and walk-in shower. All bedrooms have access to the first-floor balcony. On the balcony, there is a lounge set, parasol and a jacuzzi. In the evening, stargaze under the open sky surrounded by relaxing bubbles.
Towels and hairdryers are supplied at the villa as well as being fully air conditioned so you can cool off after the warm sunny days.
What you should know…
- All four bedrooms are upstairs, so may not be accessible for some guests but is great for keeping everyone under one roof.
- The pool is heated so you can enjoy all day long- no matter what the weather does.
- Your local supermarket is less than one km away, making it easier to grab your essentials.

About the surrounding area of Villa ForestNestled 3 km away from the centre of Sinj, the villa Forest is in the ideal location for your holiday. In the heart of the Dalmatia region, Sinj has been at the centre of historic battles, protecting the coast from invasions as it’s located only 30km away from Split. Get back to nature in this more rural location, nearby is the River Cetina Valley and surrounding mountains: Kamešnica, Svilaja, and Dinara.
Sinj itself is idyllic and filled with cafés, and restaurants under the picturesque terracotta rooftops for the whole family to enjoy exploring.
Less than an hour’s drive away is the famous city Split, Croatia’s second-largest city. With architecture that dates back nearly two thousand years ago, you can immerse yourself in the rich history of this region. See how the people of Split reclaimed a Roman Emperors’ home when visiting Diocletian’s Palace. Surrounded by high columns, detailed entrances and imposing arches you can immerse yourself in the past while exploring a host of shops, bars and cafes that now reside within its walls. It’s not difficult to find either as its walls are integrated into the narrow streets of the old town, merging the palace into the rest of the city. The alleys create a maze into the past, with detailed bricked architecture withstanding all that has come after its erection, you can immerse yourself in the rich history of this city.
The Adriatic Sea is a cooling break from the Croatian sunshine. Dance and swim in the shallows of the cooling waters or enjoy the rays from the shore of several beaches along the coast. There are peddle boat rentals available if you wanted to take a spin on the waters, or delve deeper and bring snorkels to see the colours and home of the creatures who live below the surface. For the more adventurous ones, there are many water sports activities dotted along the coast including water skiing, parasailing, scuba diving and boat trips.

Further south along the coast is vibrant city of Split, the second-largest in Croatia and the largest in the Dalmatia region. The city offers a perfect blend of ancient history and modern life. At its heart is Diocletian's Palace, a Roman marvel built in 305 AD by the Emperor Diocletian. Today, the palace serves as the city's living heart, filled with restaurants, shops, and vibrant street life. A stroll along the waterfront promenade, known as the Riva, is a must - soak up the Mediterranean atmosphere, enjoy the palm trees and colourful buildings to one side, and views out across the Adriatic Sea to the other.
Leaving the mainland and heading an hour south by boat, you arrive at Hvar, a captivating island destination known for its sunny climate, vibrant nightlife, and rich history. Hvar Town boasts an elegant waterfront, historic architecture, and is well known for its energetic nightlife scene. Best Suited For: All AgesA stay that brings you all together; villa Forest has plenty of room both inside and outside for everyone to enjoy. The villa has a fence around the perimeter of the villas grounds making it secure for little ones to run around in. The games room is great for everyone to spend time together and the competitive side to make a appearance, that is if you can get them out the heated pool!
All four bedrooms are on the first floor, making it easier to keep an eye on them. A cot and highchair are available on request for the newest members of the family.
Outside the villa there is even more ways to bring everyone together. The Adriatic Sea is a playground for their adventurous minds. Explore it with boat rides and kayaking tours or see what’s under the surface and go snorkelling! For the older ones, there’s an abundance of water sports including paragliding while you island hops around the coastline. Please note some water sports have age restrictions so please check before booking.
The zipline adventure will get the children buzzing with excitement. Safety is the number one priority and professional guides help you soar over the tree tops. The nearby city Spilt has plenty of entertainment. Get absorbed by the culture, activities and food as you negotiate the narrow streets.

Fantastic Villa!
Villa Forest is a stunning, extremely well finished villa, with great facilities. We had a fantastic time playing tennis, on the pool table, in the jacuzzi, around the swimming pool and the dining options inside and outside the house. Sinj is only a 5 minute drive away and has great supermarkets and shops.
We used the villa as a base to visit Krka National Park, and Split for some boat excursions.
We also hired in a caterer for one night - via a recommendation from Oliver's Travels. The chefs came in and created a true top quality restaurant experience in our very own home. The food was superb, and the excellent service meant we didn't have to lift a finger all night, other than to toast our meal with lovely cherry and orange liquors that Martin brought along - an absolute fabulous experience!
Villa Forest is the perfect remote spot for peace and quiet, relaxation and fun for all the family. Highly recommended! -
Fantastic Villa - beautiful place
Villa Forest is tucked away in a wonderful remote location, with great facilities and lovely views of the surrounding hills. The villa itself is beautiful, and has everything you need to self cater and entertain yourself. We had great fun in the pool, on the tennis court, playing pool and dining inside and out. The main town is only a few minutes drive away for any shopping needs.
We spoiled ourselves and brought a caterer in for one of the nights - Martin Grubiša & Marco came in and provided us with a truly lavish meal, and made a real restaurant experience for us in our own home. I would highly recommend!
