Set high above the historic village of Governor’s Harbour, Pirate's Perch is surrounded by nearly two acres of tropical gardens and enjoys sweeping views across Cupid’s Cay and the Eleuthera Sound. Originally built in the 1800s and beautifully restored, the villa has been designed to capture the relaxed spirit of Caribbean living, with mature fruit and poinciana trees providing welcome shade throughout the grounds. Days can be spent beside the private pool, relaxing beneath the broad verandahs or dining outdoors as the sun sets across the water. Inside, a generous open-plan living and dining space extends across the ground floor, with a fully equipped modern kitchen positioned just beyond. Covered dining and comfortable seating are also provided on the sea-facing verandah, allowing the island views and warm Bahamian air to be enjoyed throughout the day.
Spacious accommodation is provided across five bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom, air conditioning and ceiling fans. A king bedroom on the ground floor benefits from a separate entrance and private porch overlooking the pool, while upstairs, two further king bedrooms and a room with two full beds are complemented by private balcony access. The characterful attic bedroom offers four single beds, its own living area and an en suite bathroom. A separate cottage, sleeping two in a four-poster king bed, is also available for larger groups. Starlink internet, maid service four days a week, beach essentials, table tennis and an outdoor barbecue are among the thoughtful amenities provided. With Eleuthera’s famous soft pink sand beaches within walking distance, Pirate's Perch is wonderfully placed for family escapes, memorable reunions and intimate celebrations.
- Accommodation is arranged across multiple levels, including an attic bedroom, so guests should be comfortable using stairs during their stay
- The attic bedroom features four single beds and its own living area, making it particularly well suited to children, teenagers or friends sharing
- The separate cottage can be rented either alongside the main house or independently, so guests wishing to include it should ensure it forms part of their booking (Please be advised the cottage will only be available to those booking the higher occupancy)
