Overview
Gorgeous Sunset House sits on the outskirts of Marisule, a laid-back residential town close to some of the best spots that St. Lucia’s vibrant northern shores have to offer. This cosy three-bedroom villa has everything you’ll need to enjoy a laid-back escape in the sun with your nearest and dearest.
From the moment you arrive, you’ll find privacy and tranquillity in abundance as this gorgeous three-bedroom property is surrounded by a natural canopy of flowering tropical trees. From its hillside perch, Sunset House overlooks luscious green treetops that stretch all the way down to the coast of the Caribbean Sea.
When you first arrive at Sunset House you’ll notice that entry is strictly for residents only, with a private security fence separating Sunset House from other paths properties nearby. A good-size driveway leads you up to the main entrance, providing plenty of space for parking should you choose to rent a vehicle during your stay.
Inside, traditional St. Lucian decor and design awaits with crisp white walls offset by blue and brown furnishings. Upon entry, an intimate lounge sits at the centre of the property with comfortable wooden furnishings set around a communal table for recreation and socialising.
Adjacent to the lounge is a combination kitchen and diner, offering a traditionally designed and fully equipped space for creating and enjoying delicious meals as a group. However, for those times when you don’t fancy cooking, your property manager will be more than happy to make arrangements for a cook to help out with meals.
Across the villa, three good-sized double bedrooms offer stunning views of the Caribbean Sea from their private balconies. Your master bedroom is located on the top floor of the villa and benefits from its own private en-suite bathroom, whereas the remaining rooms share bathroom facilities.
When not relaxing indoors you can make the most out of the glorious Caribbean sun with a sprawling outdoor area that includes a wrap-around terrace with additional seating and dining space, beautiful green gardens, a private 30ft swimming pool and a sun-soaked sun terrace.
In addition to the fantastic facilities within the home, Sunset House ensures that you get to enjoy all of the comforts of a home-away-from-home without the stress of running a home. A professional housekeeper will visit you three days a week to assist with cleaning and household tasks while the property management team will also be on hand to help make your holiday the best it can be.
What you should know…

Location
About the surrounding area of Sunset HouseSunset House sits at the top of St. Lucia, so it’ll take you about 75 minutes to arrive at the property by car. Luckily, the views along the way are absolutely stunning and once you arrive you’ll find that Sunset House was definitely worth the trip.
Nestled in idyllic Marisule, Sunset House is bordered by lush tropical trees that give way to stunning views of the Caribbean Sea. The area surrounding Sunset House is relatively flat and relatively walkable with a number of amenities, like grocery stores, bars and restaurants, about a 15-minute walk away.
If you’re planning to explore the wider island during your stay, we do recommend renting a vehicle for your own personal use as St. Lucia is very mountainous and journeys may take longer than they initially appear. That being said, St. Lucia is a relatively small island that you can explore with ease once you’ve got your bearings.
Sunset House’s location allows it to benefit from the best of all worlds - its tucked back position provides ample privacy and tranquillity, perfect for a relaxing escape in the sun, while its proximity to nearby towns and beaches makes it easy to get out and have fun. The hardest part is deciding where to go and what to do each day.
Just a 10-minute drive north of Sunset House is Rodney Bay, a lively town with a great community feel flanked by beautiful sandy beaches and deep blue waters. Offering fun for the whole family no matter the time of day, Rodney Bay is a great place to spend some of your well-earned holiday time.

About the Island & Getting There
About St Lucia
The Land, The People, The Light – St Lucia’s motto couldn’t be more representative of this captivating sovereign island nation. Witness dazzling scenery, be spellbound by the fascinating locals and allow for St Lucia to brighten your day and show you a new way to life.
St Lucia gained its independence from the British Commonwealth in 1979 and after centuries of a French presence, which is most visible today in the original Capital of Soufrière, St Lucia is famous for its Pitons & landscapes and vivacious community.
St Lucia really is a hiker’s Nirvana! Where to start? That’s a tough question. However, with the likes of - The Diamond Botanical Gardens, Enbas Saut Waterfall Trail, Pigeon Island National Park, Sulphur Springs Park Scenic Drive and Tet Paul Nature Trail – it doesn’t matter! These UNESCO listed sites are a sight to behold. If you're likely to take to the water, you'll be able to admire the rich marine biodiversity just off the shore of St Lucia. Over 60% of the marine area is made up of coral reefs and these are very poular with snorkelers and scuba divers. Just make sure you put time aside to relish these privileged land & seascapes.
Start your cultural trip downtown in Castries. Here you will be provided with more than enough entertainment for an afternoon and evening. The local Market runs throughout the week and is certainly the right place to come for exotic fruits and tantalising Street Food - the Green Fig & Salt Fish is local delicacy and it's not scarce, so perhaps try a few variants on this regional intricacy and let us know which is your favourite! The vendors are incredibly animated, so expect a show to be put on if you choose to explore this part of the island and brush up on those haggling skills. La Place Carenage and Point Seraphine are very popular Malls and if you bear in mind the added incentive of these complexes being Duty-Free, you and your guests will certainly get some good deals (A taxi back to your villa after such an excursion is suggested!).
Many holiday makers are surprised to learn of St Lucia’s rich cocoa legacy. Ever since the 1700’s this island has been producing cocoa related products, that are incredibly sought after all across the world. Morne Coubaril Estate and La Dauphine Estate specialise in showcasing how plantations use to gather & manufacture the Cocoa Bean fruit and organise educational tours. After learning all about St Lucia’s former booming cocoa industry, you will probably need some therapy…how about chocolate therapy like you’ve never encountered before? Enquire at some of the islands more renowned Spas and you’ll be able to experience the benefits of a chocolate facial and massage. Remember - Chocolate isn’t a food, it’s a medicine!
We have selected some of the most exciting villas on the island, so browse through these dreamy holiday homes and have a look at our cheeky little guide to St Lucia!

At the villa itself, kids can make use of all the space they have on offer - sprawling gardens filled with tropical trees, just perfect for running around and letting their hair down in the sun.
Your private swimming pool is a guaranteed hit with little holidaymakers who love the fun of having a whole swimming pool to themselves, letting them jump, dive, splash and play to their hearts’ content. Beyond the villa, a special mention has to be given to the beaches of St. Lucia - all of which are picture and open to the public. Let little ones splash around in the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea, discovering new and exciting types of fish while snorkelling. In particular, Reduit Beach in Gros Islet is an excellent choice for a family beach day as its home to the fun-filled Splash Island Water Park.
For the more adventurous amongst you, kids can get a taste of life under the sea with a special type of diving tour that combines the simplicity of snorkelling with the thrill of scuba diving. Head out on the open water, don your specially-designed swimsuits and helmets and dive beneath the waves to walk along the sea bed.
And while you’re on holiday, why not let your little ones join in the fun with a visit to Gros Islet’s Friday Night Jump Up.
