The Deck Dugout is a refined four bedroom villa set within the prestigious Sugar Hill community in St. James on Barbados’ sought after west coast. Designed to feel light, open and effortlessly elegant, the villa is centred around a striking rock swimming pool, where a marble swim up cocktail table creates a distinctive space for relaxed afternoons. A separate plunge pool adds another layer of calm, while the interiors are arranged to flow seamlessly outdoors. The living and dining areas are beautifully furnished and open through French doors onto a generous terrace, where shaded seating and alfresco dining spaces invite long, unhurried evenings. Beyond, a spacious wooden deck is arranged with comfortable loungers, offering a peaceful setting for sun filled days.
Across the villa, four air conditioned bedrooms have been thoughtfully styled, each with its own en suite shower room to ensure comfort and privacy. Two bedrooms are positioned on the upper level, where private balconies look out towards distant sea views and soft Caribbean sunsets. A third bedroom is located on the ground floor, while the fourth is set within a detached cottage complete with a small kitchenette, ideal for added independence. Guests are granted access to Sugar Hill’s exclusive amenities, including a clubhouse, restaurant, communal pool, fitness centre and tennis courts, along with membership at the Fairmont Beach Club. Located just a short drive from the beaches and vibrant Holetown, The Deck Dugout offers a composed and comfortable base for a well connected island stay. Please note that children under the age of 10 are not permitted.
