Luxury Villas in Speightstown

Speightstown is Barbados’ second town, on the north of the west coast in the parish of St Peter. It’s about 50 minutes’ drive from Grantley Adams International Airport, with Holetown 15 minutes to the south. In the 1600s it was a busy sugar port nicknamed “Little Bristol” for its trade with the English city. Its past still shows in the colonial buildings along the waterfront and at Arlington House Museum.

Today it’s quieter and more local than our villas in Holetown. There’s a daily fish market, beach bars on the esplanade, and restaurants built out over the water. Mullins Beach and Gibbes Beach are a few minutes south, Heywoods Beach is just north, and Port St Charles marina is close by for boat trips and sailing. The sea here is calm and clear, ideal for swimming, snorkelling and paddleboarding.
