Today, the tower has been meticulously transformed into a five-star residence arranged over five floors, where thick stone walls, spiral staircases and oak-beamed ceilings frame an experience that is both atmospheric and indulgent. The dramatic Great Hall invites evenings by the fire, while the vaulted dining room, illuminated by candlelight and centred around an antique walnut table, sets the scene for memorable feasts prepared by private chefs using exceptional local produce.
Six beautifully appointed bedrooms within the tower are complemented by the contemporary Fenton Lodge and the Hillside Cottage each offer an two additional en-suite bedrooms.

The Scottish and British Open Championships
Please note that between 5th and 18th July 2027, during the Scottish and British Open Championships, Fenton Tower Estate is only available exclusively as a whole-estate booking. During these two weeks, all stays will be catered and staffed, with pricing available on request. Please enquire with our Sales Team for further information.
- The tower is arranged over five floors and connected by spiral staircases, which may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility (the Lodge offers easier access).
- The historic architecture means some ceilings, stairways and doorways are characterfully narrow or uneven.
- The Lodge and Hillside Cottage is located a few metres from the main tower, offering added privacy but separate accommodation for four guests.
- Pre-arranged catering and additional services are available and should be organised in advance of your stay.
- Please note that stays between 5th and 18th July 2027 coincide with the Scottish and British Open Championships and are subject to different booking arrangements. Please enquire with our Sales Team for further details.
Dining at Fenton Tower
Dining at Fenton Tower can be tailored entirely to suit you. When hired for exclusive use, you can arrange to have as many or as few meals as you like. All meals are made using fresh local produce, and some examples of dishes would be; smoked trout with an avocado and tomato compote; fillet of Scottish beef glazed with mushrooms and burgundy sauce; rolled berry and rosewater pavlova. All dietary requirements can be accommodated. Please note that there will be an additional charge on top of the rental prices for catering subject to menus and number of guests etc. Please enquire for further details and price information.
Breakfast and daily maid service are included as standard for guests staying at Fenton Tower. For groups who also book Fenton Lodge as part of a combined stay, these services will be extended to guests in the Lodge; however, they are not included with stand-alone Lodge bookings.
