Set within a two hundred acre private estate on the southern fringe of the Cairngorms National Park, this distinguished Victorian castle offers an exceptional setting to relax, entertain and create lasting memories, all supported by a dedicated team and discreet, attentive service.
Steeped in history, the estate dates back to the eighteenth century, with the present castle built in the early eighteen sixties for Lord Clyde, Queen Victoria’s banker, and designed by her Balmoral architect. Today, guests are free to explore rivers, a private loch and surrounding glens, with fishing, walking and Highland pursuits effortlessly arranged by your private butler, who curates each stay with precision and care.
Inside, elegant interiors unfold across generous reception rooms including a traditional library, a drawing room with roaring fires, and a formal dining room seating up to twenty guests. A relaxed breakfast room adjoins a well-equipped kitchen, while ten beautifully appointed bedrooms, including a four poster master suite, offer comfort and privacy. Dining is a highlight, with bespoke menus featuring breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea and a three course dinner with canapés, all delivered with seamless daily service and complemented by a memorable Scottish piper experience.

- Only two of the nine bedrooms share a bathroom in the castle. There is no queuing to get ready in the mornings or evenings!
