It is little wonder that the magnificent Grade II listed Inglethorpe Hall has won prestigious awards including Norfolk Wedding Venue of the Year. Inglethorpe Hall is a truly special Norfolk retreat, surrounded by thirty acres of sweeping parkland on the edge of the Royal Sandringham Estate. Built in 1745 and sleeping up to twenty guests across nine elegant bedrooms, the hall is ideal for celebrations, family gatherings, retreats and intimate weddings. The fabulous property combines grand reception spaces, beautiful grounds and exceptional access to Norfolk’s coastline, nature reserves and charming market towns.

Inglethorpe Hall has been beautifully renovated while preserving its historic charm, with original fireplaces, sash windows, decorative plasterwork and four-poster beds adding character throughout. Spacious living areas include two interconnecting sitting rooms, a games and television room, a snug, a large country kitchen with breakfast area and a formal dining room designed for sociable group stays. The nine bedrooms are individually styled with vintage furnishings, floral wallpapers and garden views, while the bathrooms feature freestanding baths, walk-in showers and luxurious finishes.

Outside, guests can enjoy a generous terrace for alfresco dining, acres of lawns and mature trees, including a remarkable Cedar of Lebanon believed to be over five hundred years old. The hall is perfectly placed for exploring Holkham, Wells-next-the-Sea and Brancaster, along with Norfolk’s renowned wildlife reserves, historic estates and excellent restaurants.

*The three booking options available at Inglethorpe Hall are: 3 night weekend stay, a 4 night midweek, or a whole week. Changeover days are Monday and Friday. 1 and 2 night bookings are available, but are priced at the same rate as 3 night bookings.

*Although Inglethorpe Hall is listed as having 9 bedrooms, sleeping up to a maximum of 20 people, there are 3 additional cottages (sleeping up to an additional 14 people) located within the grounds that can be rented at an additional cost. Please ask our concierge team for additional information regarding prices for the additional cottages.

This home is a part of our Great Value and Heritage Collection!

This is a historic home, and as such:

  • It has probably been standing for over 100 years, which means it's full of historic value and charm but it may also have one or two quirks!
  • Some of the decor and furnishings may not be brand new, but that should not detract from your holiday experience in this unique setting that allows you to take a step back in time!
