Overview

Wedding Venue Beach Nearby Pets Welcome Ideal for Parties

Built in 1745, Inglethorpe Hall was once a substantial North Norfolk private estate and residence. Still set in thirty acres of private grounds and parkland, it offers exceptional views across the Wash and is just one of a few Grade II listed country houses in England.

This fascinating and historic building has been beautifully restoration and is perfect for family gathering, celebrations or special events. Making Inglethorpe Hall the perfect place for an intimate dream wedding of 40 guests, the party of a lifetime, or simply a relaxing weekend away. It has also recently been featured in the Guardian Travel as a recommended property.

Ideally positioned on the beautiful and undulating North Norfolk coast, the Hall lies on the boundary of the Royal Estate at Sandringham, just one of the amazing, historic houses to visit in the area. It is within easy reach of the beaches at Hunstanton, Brancaster and Holkham, the market towns of Fakenham, Swaffham and Kings Lynn as well as the idyllic villages of Snettisham, Burnham Market and Holt.

*The three booking options available at Inglethorpe Hall are: 3 night weekend stay, a 4 night midweek, or a whole week. Changeover days are Monday and Friday.
**1 and 2 night bookings are available, but are priced at the same rate as 3 night bookings.

*** Although Inglethorpe Hall is listed as having 9 bedrooms, sleeping up to a maximum of 20 people, there are 3 additional cottages (sleeping up to an additional 14 people) located within the grounds that can be rented at an additional cost. These cottages cannot and will not be rented out on their own, so anyone booking the main house will of course have exclusivity of the entire estate and grounds. Please ask our concierge team for additional information regarding prices for the additional cottages.

  • Inglethorpe Hall

Posted by Matthew F on 03/09/2013

We spent a very enjoyable few days at the hall for a fortieth birthday. Lovely views all the way to the Wash from the terrace and a quiet rural location, including resident sheep. Very comfortable accommodation for a large party with several en suites and two large living rooms. Lots of books and games too. The hall staff were very helpful in arranging activities.
