A magnificent Georgian country house in the heart of Norfolk, where timeless elegance meets unforgettable celebrations. Surrounded by thirty acres of sweeping parkland on the edge of the Royal Sandringham Estate, Inglethorpe Hall is an impressive Grade II listed country house dating back to the 18th century. Rich in history, character and original architectural features, this remarkable home offers an authentic country house experience for families and friends looking to celebrate together in truly memorable surroundings.
Inglethorpe Hall has plenty of historic charm, with original fireplaces, sash windows, decorative plasterwork and four-poster beds adding character throughout. Spacious living areas include two interconnecting sitting rooms, a games and television room, a snug, a large country kitchen with breakfast area and a formal dining room designed for sociable group stays. The nine bedrooms are individually styled with vintage furnishings, floral wallpapers and garden views, while the bathrooms feature freestanding baths and walk-in showers.
Outside, guests can enjoy a generous terrace for alfresco dining, acres of lawns and mature trees, including a remarkable Cedar of Lebanon believed to be over five hundred years old. The hall is perfectly placed for exploring Holkham, Wells-next-the-Sea and Brancaster, along with Norfolk’s renowned wildlife reserves, historic estates and excellent restaurants.
*The three booking options available at Inglethorpe Hall are: 3 night weekend stay, a 4 night midweek, or a whole week. Changeover days are Monday and Friday. 1 and 2 night bookings are available, but are priced at the same rate as 3 night bookings.
*Although Inglethorpe Hall is listed as having 9 bedrooms, sleeping up to a maximum of 20 people, there are 3 additional cottages (sleeping up to an additional 14 people) located within the grounds that can be rented at an additional cost. Please ask our concierge team for additional information regarding prices for the additional cottages.

- As a historic Grade II listed house, Inglethorpe Hall features numerous internal steps, split levels and staircases throughout the property. Guests should expect level changes between many rooms, and the house is not suitable for those with limited mobility or anyone who struggles with stairs.
- There is so much to do and see in North Norfolk, you should plan ahead. The gastropubs and restaurants can be very busy so please book in advance

A reception with up to 40 people could be hosted at this property either in the Long Room or the Drawing Room. Dancing could continue in the dining room with music playing until midnight.
Wedding Ceremony
A ceremony could also happen in either the Drawing Room or Long Room with up to 40 people. The property is fully-licenced to host legal marriage ceremonies.
Where to Stay
Up to 20 people can sleep on-site. Nearby, up to 15 more guests might be able to find accommodation in the cottages owned by the Hall.

The client may provide their own wedding planner.
Catering
The venue have a range of caterers to choose from - client must choose from the given list.

No outdoor music permitted. Small events welcomed – no more than 40 people.
The venue cannot provide any wedding planning help. Events to finish by midnight. No marquee option. Additional venue fee and per person fee for weddings and events.
Please note that any event rental may be subject to additional charges, venue hire fees and to a higher security deposit, which will be in addition to any published rental rates and fees.
