  • We hope to go back!

    on 07/09/2021

Wonderful weekend at Moreton Manor to celebrate a milestone family birthday. Hard to imagine a more perfect setting for the event! The house and grounds are magnificent, honestly even better than any photo can convey. A proper English country pile, perfectly restored. The gardens, which we were lucky enough to see in their full glory in June, are worthy of a French palace. We played croquet, tennis and cricket before relaxing in the hot tub while taking in the wonderful views over the lake. The house itself has been beautifully refurbished; and when the sun went down we moved inside for dinner in the atmospheric wood-panelled dining room, before enjoying digestifs and games in the welcoming and cozy drawing room (while the kids grabbed a movie in the cinema room). There are plenty of very well appointed bedrooms, most with ensuite bathrooms, to rest weary heads. A brilliant weekend. Can’t recommend the house enough. We hope to go back!

  • We would love to return

    on 03/09/2021

My children and I had the most enjoyable stay in this exquisite property located in a beautiful area of the Costwolds. We enjoyed the very large grounds, perfectly manicured by the competent and friendly head gardener and his team and the delightful and authentic historic manor. This is a stay we would love to repeat when we again have some time to visit the UK

  • Highly Recommend

    on 05/08/2021

We had a lovely stay at Moreton Manor. The property is spacious with beautiful grounds. The organisation was flawless and the service above and beyond what we expected, including returning items we left behind to London. We would not hesitate to recommend Moreton Manor and would return happily

  • Beautiful

    on 02/03/2020

A stunning manor house that looks just as beautiful in real life as it does in the pictures. Both the grounds and the house are immaculate, the result of having a caretaker living on site and an owner who is personally involved in managing changeovers and in the general maintenance of the house and grounds. The property is extremely well located, within ten minutes of the beautiful villages of Stow-On-The-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh, as well as a big Sainsbury's. We enjoyed exploring the extensive grounds, going on walks around the lake. We also enjoyed playing croquet on the beautifully manicured lawn. Being keen on polo, we also chose the property because of its proximity to both Beaufort Polo Club and Cirencester Park Polo Club.

  • Perfect setting

    on 09/01/2020

We enjoyed our stay over Christmas. The house and grounds are beautiful and were perfect setting for our family gathering. The assistance from afar in resolving internet issues were greatly appreciated.
