Warm up by the electric fire in one of the two living rooms, prepare delicious meals in the fully-equipped kitchen-diner or enjoy long summer evenings with good wine on the outdoor lounge in the landscaped garden. Five gorgeous bedrooms await, four with double beds alongside one cosy twin, all featuring Egyptian cotton sheets and sumptuous mattresses.
The house sits on the edge of the village of Bunbury, where local life hums nearby: a Co Op store for essentials, a Thursday mobile fishmonger, a coffee shop offering twice-weekly wood fired pizzas and the warm welcome of the Nag’s Head pub with hearty weekend breakfasts and a good choice of real ales.
Nearby places such as Tattenhall, Tarporley and Nantwich offer country pubs, cafés and a lively Saturday farmers’ market for food lovers to explore. Across the landscape, the trails of the Sandstone Ridge and the Bickerton Hills invite exploration and gentle adventure. - Dogs are welcome, on request and with prior arrangement only. The owners ask that dogs are not allowed upstairs and that they stay in the boot room overnight (and dry off there after being taken for a walk).
- Despite being on the edge of a village, a car is necessary to be able to fully explore local attractions.
