Offering guests spectacular views of Mustique and the Southern Grenadines, Coral Grenadine promises a holiday to remember. The villa enjoys a privileged hillside location and is visually stunning both inside and out. The interior features a light and neutral decor throughout in shades of fresh cream and white, with large floor-to-ceiling sliding doors that flood the living areas with plenty of natural light - and showcase those incredible views!

Location
About the surrounding area of Coral GrenadineCoral Grenadine is situated on the beautiful island of Bequia (pronounced Beckway), sixty miles north of St. Lucia and nine miles from its ‘parent’ island, St. Vincent. The island is considered something of a hidden gem in the Caribbean, where life moves at a slow, luxurious pace, enjoying a casual, beachy vibe. Here guests can enjoy white sandy beaches, swaying palms, and main streets lined with colourful shops and restaurants serving up fresh, local cuisine - as well as some familiar family favourites!
On this small, idyllic island, you’ll feel transported to another world where you’re never far from a sandy beach, a quaint town or somewhere to enjoy something wonderful to eat and drink. Oliver recommends visiting the main town of Port Elizabeth during your stay, a welcoming spot where you’ll find a colourful fruit and veg market, shops, and restaurants - including the ‘world’s prettiest Pizza Hut’. Here you’ll be able to enjoy one of the Caribbean’s most scenic walks along the waterfront Belmont Walkway to Princess Margaret Beach. This fifteen-minute stroll is ‘doable’ for all ages, so slap some sunscreen on the kids and watch the boats bob on the harbour as you head along the powdery sands to Jack’s Beach Bar, where you can enjoy all-day beach chair rental and a popular local dish - crisp-fried ballyhoo (a sardine-like fish).
If you’re looking for unique souvenirs, be sure to browse the stalls and stores along Port Elizabeth’s front street, where you’ll discover iconic Bequia bring-backs such as boats carved from coconut husks and jewellery made from whalebone. The island is famous for its whaling heritage, and it’s one of only a few places where the practice continues, with a limited number caught each year. To find out more, as well as the boat-building that the island is known for, check out the boat museum and find out all about the practices which are still carried out here today using age-old non-mechanical methods.
If you have any keen hikers among you (and plenty of water and sun cream!), why not trek to Bequia’s highest point of Ma Peggy’s Rock? It’s a 90-minute hike, but the views over Admiralty Bay towards Mustique, Petit Nevis and St. Vincent make it well worth it - be sure to have your camera handy!

Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesCoral Grenadine is a private, gated villa that offers plenty of security for those travelling with children. The kids will enjoy the spacious rooms, with plenty of room to play and relax, including a games room - plus, there’s WiFi so they can connect their devices! A combination of twin rooms and a bedroom with a sofa bed makes it easy to accommodate children of all ages, and all rooms are air-conditioned for optimum comfort.
The private pool is sure to be a big hit with the kids and provides plenty of room for inflatables, swimming and splashing about. The water is easily accessible via Roman steps, so you won’t have to worry about the little ones struggling to get in and out of the water - although parents should be aware that the pool isn’t fenced so, as always, when it comes to children and bodies of water, caution is advised.
One of the huge advantages of the small island of Bequia is that you’ll be able to explore it all - ideally via one of the pickup truck taxis that ferry tourists around the island - they’re always a big hit with the kids! A visit to the beach is a must, and Princess Margaret Beach is one of the most popular with families. The clear, calm waters are perfect for even the newest swimmers, and more confident water babies will love to jump off the jetty and splash about in the cool waters.
Snorkelling and scuba diving are popular pastimes here, and the island has some fantastic shallow locations where you can spot brightly coloured fish and coral reefs - the kids might even spot some eagle rays! Younger children will enjoy playing on the powdery white sands while you take in the view of sailboats anchored in the bay. Little explorers will want to head to the south end of the beach, where there are plenty of caves to investigate - so it’s worth bringing some beach shoes to protect their feet.
Another interesting attraction that the children will enjoy is the Old Hegg Turtle Sanctuary, which works to protect the endangered hawksbill turtle. The sanctuary is only ten minutes from Port Elizabeth and offers daily child-friendly tours.
