Seaside retreat makes a wonderfully unique base for those wishing to enjoy panoramic sea views in a quiet spot with excellent restaurants and helpful amenities just a short stroll along the promenade away! Nestled in the beautiful county of West Sussex on the very seafront of the popular resort of Bognor Regis, Seaside Retreat is ideal for families with plenty to see, do and explore right from the doorstep.

The characterful house can comfortably sleep up to ten guests across five well-appointed bedrooms with spacious interiors which could easily accommodate three generations of a family or  a group of friends. On the ground floor is the inviting entrance hall and large, modern kitchen with all the necessary tools a budding chef could possibly need making it the perfect place to cook up a storm. For those that really wish to take it easy, simply saunter along the promenade for a few minutes and you will find a wide variety of excellent restaurants and cafes. The cosy living room is situated on the first floor in order to allow guests to really admire the incredible coastal views, French doors lead out on to a balcony, a dream-like spot for a morning cup of coffee. Also on this level is the first of the bedrooms, a family room with double bed and additional single, a twin room, a bunkbed room which is perfect for the kids as well as a family bathroom. Upstairs, on the second floor, is a second family room with double bed and additional single, a double bedroom and a family bathroom.

Outside, there is a private terrace, where guests can enjoy the sea views while enjoying a tasty barbecue al fresco. Children will enjoy running around and playing games on the large shared lawn which separates Seaside Retreat from the beach.

Seaside Retreat holds a fantastic location on the very seafront of the popular town of Bognor Regis. There are two excellent sand and shingle beaches here, The East Beach which won a 2013 Seaside Award and The Aldwick Beach, both equally popular with families. A fun promenade train runs the length of the beach - fantastic for little legs! The Marine Park Gardens are just to the West of Bognor Regis, during the Summer months the flower beds are a must-see, full of colour and design. Also in the gardens is an 18 hole putting green, great fun for the whole family. For keen golfers, Bognor Regis Golf Club is less than 10 minutes away, alternaticely, keep fit by walking or cycling the near-by South Downs Way.

    Full of character. Beds and bedding great quality. Amazing to be so close to the beach. Kitchen has everything! Lounge on the first floor is super cosy. We’d come again.

    We stayed for my mums 90th birthday and it was perfect. Mum had the top room and it was such a
    lovely spot for her to sit and look out to sea. Very clean, comfortable and warm on a very cold weekend, with everything you need for cooking and entertaining, lovely extra treats. Thank you!

    We spent a fabulous early Christmas weekend with all our family, 10 of us. The house was perfect for
    our needs, extremely well equipped. Beautiful house and beautiful setting, right on the beach! plenty of things supplied for the little one, they loved the scooters on the promenade. Hopefully all going well we are planning a trip back in the summer.

    I took my children, partners and 5 grandchildren aged 3-9 to this property for a long weekend.
    The accommodation was excellent with separate beds for all the children in their own bedrooms
    and double bedrooms for all the adults. The location is lovely 100 yards from the beach and there
    are fantastic views over the sea from the lounge and our bedroom. I did a fair bit of cooking and the
    kitchen was very well appointed with plenty of crockery, glasses and utensils plus everything else you might need. A lovely house for a long weekend or a summery break.

    This a gem of a house. Beautifully positioned on the seafront with stunning views of sea and sky. Calm
    and quite yet within easy walking distance of the centre of town. Wonderfully comfortable with high class fixtures and fittings.

    Wow. What a house! So full of character and the location is simply perfect! The views of the sea from the house are amazing. We tried a few local restaurants and were all amazing. Mustards is a must and so is Pinks ice cream parlour.

    This is a fantastic house! We gathered our book club together and enjoyed the beautifully thought out house and all its furnishings. Every room was a treat, quirky, and pretty. The beds and bedding were great, fab towels, beautiful furniture and thoughtful little touches. A brilliant weekend, thank you so much, we would all highly recommend staying here.

    We had lots of space for a large family holiday, and it was all decorated to a very high standard. Lovely to spend time in and also as a base to visit the beach just out the front! The one thing I would say is that there could have been more basic kitchen equipment i.e. tea towels but perhaps we just didn’t find them!

    The location is quite superb - a safe environment for the kids to play on the green in front of the house and direct access to the beach. Our break was wonderfully refreshing and a great seaside escape. Lovely character property
