A remarkable and secluded villa located in Amarilla Golf, Tenerife Joshua provides guests with unlimited bouts of luxury and style. The exterior of this property seems to go on forever, meaning that guests can gaze at the luscious lawn that sits before them. This villa is also home to a spectacular swimming pool that is surrounded by a stone accent wall. As such, guests are encouraged to take a dip in the pool as they cool off from the scorching sun. Tenerife Joshua is also surrounded by a collection of outdoor terraces, allowing guests to truly unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet that this property provides. There is also a barbecue located on-site, which gives guests the chance to show off their cooking skills and prepare a plethora of freshly cooked meals.
The interior of this property exudes comfort and familiarity, seen by the selection of unique furnishings that are scattered around the property. The living area makes use of a considerable L-shaped sofa that is decorated with a collection of pink and cream scatter cushions. Therefore, guests can sink into this plump seating arrangement as they catch up on their favourite shows on the flatscreen TV. Guests can also access the outdoor dining area through the sliding glass door at the back of the room. Opposite the living area is a small dining area that is made up of a white wooden table and matching chairs. This resort is best known for its magnificent 18-hole golf course, which is just a stone’s throw away from the villa. This incredible course is encircled by awe-inspiring sea views and emerald-green shrubs, helping guests to truly immerse themselves in these incredible sights. This establishment also includes a Pitch & Putt course as well as an acclaimed golf school, allowing guests to practice their skills before completing a full game. Amarilla Golf also provides a range of other facilities, including a massage parlour and a fine-dining restaurant. Thus, even if you are not an avid golfer, there is something to suit everyone here.
If you are looking to explore Tenerife’s bustling nightlife scene in a more affordable way, The Terrace Bar is a perfect option. This lively bar is just a short walk away from the villa and offers a varied assortment of artisan cocktails and delicious meals such as a seafood platter or a handmade pizza. The Terrace Bar also attracts a plethora of local artists, hosting a Session Day every Sunday from 2 pm. Children are also welcomed here since there is a large bouncy castle area as well as face painting facilities located on-site. Many previous guests have praised the amicable atmosphere and believe it is a great place to visit if you are looking to blend in with the local community.
Tenerife is also well known for its selection of local markets, allowing tourists to learn more about this culture’s customs and manufacturing history. Mercadillio de Argricultor is a farmer’s market that can be found just over 5-minutes away from the Amarilla Golf resort. This market was first held in 1980 and continues to collate some of the finest farmers in the region and gives them the opportunity to share their produce. The stalls are teeming with fresh fruit, vegetables, and fish, as well as a collection of vendors who sell handmade baked goods. Therefore, guests can purchase an array of ingredients to use in their own cooking back in Tenerife Joshua. Mercadillio de Argricultor is open every Saturday and Sunday from 9 am till 2 pm.

On the southern coast of Tenerife, just bordering the sea, we find the Amarilla Golf and Country Club. The character of the 18-hole course is marked by the incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean, which, without a doubt, inspired golf architect Donald Steel.

If you are looking to explore the crystal-clear waters of Tenerife in style, Monster Jet Ski offers a range of thrilling excursions. This school is based in Marina del Sur, which is just 20-minutes away from Amarilla Golf. Guests will begin their tour at the Marina and take an adrenaline-filled adventure all the way to Las Americas y La Caleta. You do not have to worry about navigation as you are accompanied by a trained instructor throughout your tour, giving you peace of mind during your excursion. There is also an in-depth safety brief given beforehand to ensure that every guest feels safe enough to begin their journey. A standard tour lasts for around 2 hours, and the staff speaks both English and Spanish, making it very accessible for tourists.
Castilla San Miguel is a dining experience like no other. Located just over 10-minutes away, this restaurant combines fine dining with an immersive show, allowing children to get involved in an array of Medieval adventures. The show takes place in an authentic 15th-century castle and tells the story of two brave knights who are fighting for the love of the beautiful Countess Isabella. The knights engage in a nail-biting battle before a worthy winner is crowned. The menu is perfect for both children and adults, serving a succulent chicken breast with a rich mushroom sauce. There is also a vegetarian menu available as well as options for very young children. Castilla San Miguel is open on Thursdays and Saturdays from 6:30 pm till 10 pm.
Tenerife is home to a collection of tremendous landscapes, giving children the space to roam free and discover more about the natural beauty of this region. Reserva Ambiental is just over 5-minutes away from the resort and blends an array of artistic mediums with the ecosystems residing in this area. Guests can meander through the San Blas Nature Reserve and observe the incredible cliffs and rivers that help to make this picturesque location. There is even a guided tour through the Experience Tunnel, a large enclosed track that offers more information on this region’s far-reaching history. This is a fantastic place to visit if you are looking to uncover more about the significant events that have occurred throughout southern Tenerife.

Great house in a great location
We spend a lovely relaxing week at villa Josh. The house was a real home from home, with everything you'd need inside & out. There's nice comfy outdoor furniture that we made good use of and, as keen golfers, the location was perfectly situated on the fairway so you get to watch live golf without needing to move. There is a great sea view as it's only 2 minutes walk from the water. The area is nice and quiet but there some are bars and restaurants within strolling distance. We most definitely plan to return.
