Villa Magranas is perfectly nestled in the peaceful countryside of Northwest Menorca, providing a tranquil base to recharge whilst only being a short drive from the town centre of Ciutadella.
The villa is spread over one level, making it an especially perfect stay for those who may find stairs difficult to navigate. The villa has a warm and homely atmosphere, with warm tones and wood furnishings, making you feel perfectly comfortable during your stay.
Villa Magranas has three bedrooms that can accommodate up to six guests. The master bedroom contains a double bed and wardrobe space for guests to unpack into, so there’s no need to live out of your suitcase during your stay! There are also two more bedrooms with twin beds, so the villa is perfect for groups and families with kids.
There is an open-plan living/dining space that perfectly showcases this homely atmosphere. Two comfy sofas frame the living space, perfect for curling up in your downtime and watching something on the included TV or connecting to the Wi-Fi.
There is a fully equipped kitchen in the villa with everything you would need to whip up delicious meals, and the dining table is just through the archway in the living space. There is also the benefit of another separate outdoor kitchen equipped with a barbeque, so you can grill up fresh meats and fish whilst sipping on local wine as you dine al fresco.
Outside, the garden space is simply stunning. The large private pool will be a welcome sight, especially on the warmest days. With steps to enter it, the cool water passing over your skin will feel incredible after a day of enjoying the Menorcan sun. Sit back on the sun loungers along the edge and catch a tan or read a book as the sun sets on the horizon. A large grassy area is just perfect for children to run around and enjoy.

Villa Magranas is located on the island's West side in the old port of Ciutadella and is an incredible maze of cobbled roads to wander down and stunning architecture to explore. It's the perfect town for strolling around to enjoy the local atmosphere before settling down at a local café to enjoy lunch whilst people watching.
Menorca's many beautiful natural caves, dunes and wetlands are home to over 220 species of birds and 1000 species of plants, earning it the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve status since 1993. You will be sure to see why as you explore Menorca's countryside around Villa Magranas and the beaches that line the island.
Speaking of beaches, visitors to the island of Menorca will delight at the number of white sandy beaches with clear turquoise water that the island is known for. Cala Pregonda, Cala Macarella and Platia de Son Bou are to name but a few, and any day spent lounging on the sands or swimming in the waters here will not be wasted.
Anyone looking for some adventure and activities sure to make lasting memories during their stay will adore Menorca. Head to a local port to book a boat tour and enjoy an afternoon spent spotting the many different fish that call the Mediterranean home. The calm waters on the beaches also offer the perfect opportunity to partake in kayaking or even snorkelling amongst the fish.
The capital city of Menorca is Mahon, the capital city since 1721, and it has a number of activities for you to partake in. Go horse riding to view the beautiful nature, hop on a glass bottom boat trip from the stunning Port of Mahon, or visit the Fortaleza de Isabel II. There is something for everyone to do in this wonderful capital city.
The island's highest point is right at the centre, Monte Toro, which stands at 358m tall. Here you will find the 16th Century monastery that provides exquisite views of Menorca's coastline; below it, you will find Es Mercadal and its traditional tapas bars.

THE REGION
Ciutadella's historical city is located on Menorca's extreme west coast. It used to be the capital of culture and commerce in Menorca, and although it has not been this for a long while, it is still a very attractive city with a wonderful heritage and real appeal.
Visit Es Born, the historic part of the city. If you like culture and historic churches, medieval-looking streets all accompanied by traditional Spanish restaurants, make sure you take a look on your stay. The mix is perfect with most tastes in music catered and perfect for late-night entertainment.
Ciutadella doesn't have its own beach, but just 3 kilometres away are the small beaches of Cala Santandria and Sa Caleta and further afield are Cala'n Blanes, Cala'n Forcat, Cala Blanca and Cala'n Bosch.

Before even stepping into the villa's walls, the ample grass space outside makes the perfect place for children to run around and play. Kids and teenagers of all ages will adore the glistening private pool on the property, the perfect place for splashy fun or floating under the warm sun.
The villa's two twin bedrooms and master double are perfect for a family, as kids can have their own beds and space to make their own. They can kick back on the sofas and make use of the TV to watch some shows or connect to the Wi-Fi on their devices to stream their favourite content or chat with friends.
The island's incredible nature is also a great addition to any holiday with kids. They are sure to become little explorers when they see the incredible country sides, white sand beaches and ancient stone architecture. The island has several historical sites for kids to learn some history while they play in the rich history.
The many white sand beaches on the island are bound to go down as an absolute treat for kids and adults alike during your stay. The warm sand under excited feet is an unforgettable feeling, and there is plenty to go around to build the grandest sandcastles. The beaches run on a flag system, so parents can be safe knowing the tide's strength each day. Older kids and adults should make the most of the number of water sports available in the area, including kayaking, paragliding and jet skis. Hope on a glass bottom boat and see the wonderfully coloured fish in their natural habitat below you.
The local restaurants are family-friendly and sure to provide a wonderful setting for your meal, but they also provide a wide range of dishes to get a taste of the island. Parents can have a break from cooking as kids taste what the island has to offer – or order something more familiar if they aren't feeling adventurous. The local supermarket and fully equipped kitchen in the villa mean that even the pickiest eaters will be fed well during their stay. Kids will love the experience of al fresco dining, whether that's in Villa Magranas' outdoor dining area or a local restaurant.
Where Menorca is quieter compared to its Balearic sisters of Majorca and Ibiza, it is still a popular tourist destination. As such, you can enjoy both the tranquil area around Villa Magranas and the many experiences and activities on offer across the island.

| End of stay cleaning included? | Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning , laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal will be charged against the security deposit. |
