Upon approaching the property, you will note there is space for up to three cars to park. Entering the property you are welcomed by a large lobby, and beyond this the spacious living/dining area. Whether you want to kick back and switch on the TV, indulge in the warm weather and enjoy an alfresco lunch, or get cosy in front of the fire as the evening cools, all your desires will be met in this fabulous waterfront villa.

From the living area you enter the kitchen, bright and spacious with cream-colored cabinets and granite countertops, it is well-equipped to ensure preparing a meal is enjoyable and effortless. Each bedroom is equipped with a high-quality bed and oak furniture, with three of the five enjoying excellent ensuite facilities.

The terrace is truly one of a kind, expanding around the property it includes a huge dining table to seat the whole group, and a vast swimming pool complete with a second outdoor table and chairs and a number of sun loungers so you can sit back and watch life passing by as you soak up the Spanish sun. There is also a beautiful typical Menorcan style barbeque where you can create a meal to be enjoyed in the hazy afternoon glow of the Mediterranean.

While in a quiet neighbourhood, offering the utmost peace and tranquillity, there is a nearby shop that can be reached on foot. For more bars, restaurants, supermarkets and other activities, the island’s capital of Mahon is just a short drive away, and many stunning beaches and natural areas are within just a few miles too. There is a water taxi available to guests, also, for exploration by a different method!

The Villa

This traditional five bedroom, four bathroom villa boasts one of the most spectacular positions of Mahon’s stunning harbour.  It is located on the north side of the harbour, on the frontline with uninterrupted views of the Isla del Rey.  It is situated down a quiet cul-de-sac, in a residential area and therefore is a perfect place for a peaceful getaway.

The Balearic island of Menorca is the quieter, unspoilt version of its big sisters Majorca and Ibiza.

While it is partly known for its traditional summer fiestas, which take place in different towns around the island all summer long (with origins dating back to the 14th century!) it’s really the place for those who enjoy a calmer, slower pace of life.

Aside from its traditional fiestas, Menorca is better visited for its white-sand bays such as Pregonda and Cala Macarella, clear, turquoise water and more gentle activities like walking, cycling or horse-riding. With a coastline punctuated by beautiful coves and a landscape awarded the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve status, strewn with ancient stone monuments and an estimated 70,000km of dry-stone walls, this is an island for the nature lovers, and anyone looking for a little rest and relaxation.

Cala Llonga is one of the most exclusive areas in Menorca, overlooking the second deepest natural harbour in the world. It has a small supermarket, but many more amenities can be found in the island’s capital town of Mahon, just a 10 minute drive away. Mahon makes for a beautiful day of strolling, with many narrow pedestrianised streets and historical sites to visit, as well as innumerable bars, cafes and restaurants.

Sa Mesquida, a beautiful cove offering safe shallow bathing and wide, sandy beach is very nearby, as is the Natural Park of S’Albufera des Grau and its unspoilt fishing village of Es Grau, with the option to stroll the 4km way-marked bridle path to it.

THE REGION

Mahon is the charming capital of the Balearic Island of Menorca; it is the first stop for many visitors before heading off to Menorca's beach resorts. The city is known for its Georgian-style mansions, a testament to the British occupation from times gone by and an attractive harbour area and restaurant-lined promenade.

    We have just spent a week in this lovely villa. A family group of 9 people. A spacious place with great pool and outdoor/garden areas. The jetty was lovely for hopping on the boat taxi and swimming. There are a few things that would have made the holiday even better. The shop was a difficult walk away, we didn’t actually find it, chose to get a taxi to one in Mahón instead, so a welcome pack containing at least the basics would have been helpful. The taxis found it difficult to find us with the wrong address given and a ladder from the jetty to the sea would be great to make getting out of the sea easier! This was, however a fabulous villa and a wonderful holiday.
