Overview

Pool Beach Nearby Ideal for Kids All Bedrooms En-Suite

This is a truly astonishing five-bedroom, five-bathroom villa in the southern tip of Menorca, nestled between the stunning bay-studded coastline, the capital town of Mahon and the fabulous villages of Binibequer, Binidali and many more, all within a ten minute drive.

The stunning lavender-lined drive ends with a secure set of gates before entering the incredible villa grounds. Inside, the Moroccan style villa is full of character, featuring some typical Menorcan furnishings and local mares’ stonework. The living room has an array of very comfortable seating options, a beautiful open fireplace for the cooler evenings, and large doors opening onto one of the large patios which overlook the garden. The kitchen has a huge range cooker, plenty of granite work surfaces and a walk-in larder.  There is a breakfast bar leading to a small dining area which is surrounded by sliding glass doors, allowing the light to flood into the villa, and opening out on to the outdoor dining area.

Three very large air-conditioned bedrooms with teak fitted wardrobes – each with a full-sized dedicated or en suite bathroom.  The main bedroom includes a king size bed with super king beds or singles. Each bedroom is decorated with great attention to detail, from the paintings to the complementary furniture, and enjoys a full-sized dedicated or ensuite bathroom, with the master-bedroom benefitting from a high quality tempur mattress and a hydro-jacuzzi bath.

Annex (see T&C's) accomodation includes:

A large air conditioned private suite with its own entrance.  The bedroom has patio doors that open directly onto the pool terrace it has super king sleeping accommodation, en suite bathroom, mini kitchenette and mezzanine sleeping zone with two further single beds.   The mezzanine area which overlooks the main bedroom below is approached via stairs and has restricted head height and is therefore only suitable for slightly older children – not toddlers or the elderly.

A twin room with en suite shower room with its own private entrance.

At the end of the annex wing there is the utility/laundry room where the washing machine is situated, as well as a drying area.

The terrace is almost another villa in itself! With a huge range of seating options, from cushioned benches to comfy chairs and sofas to a large dining table, and even has a ping pong table at the far end! This marks the meeting point between the luxurious house and the astonishing garden facilities. The 8000m2 of stunningly landscaped Mediterranean gardens, which include a full size, fenced pool, a splash pool and playground especially for the children, tennis paddle court and basketball courts and a mini football pitch, provide all the entertainment options you could need to keep the whole group active! This is truly the ideal spot for fun and games in Menorca.

The Balearic island of Menorca is the quieter, unspoilt version of its big sisters Majorca and Ibiza.

While it is partly known for its traditional summer fiestas, which take place in different towns around the island all summer long (with origins dating back to the 14th century!) it’s really the place for those who enjoy a calmer, slower pace of life.

Aside from its traditional fiestas, Menorca is better visited for its white-sand bays such as Pregonda and Cala Macarella, clear, turquoise water and more gentle activities like walking, cycling or horse-riding. With a coastline punctuated by beautiful coves and a landscape awarded the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve status, strewn with ancient stone monuments and an estimated 70,000km of dry-stone walls, this is an island for the nature lovers, and anyone looking for a little rest and relaxation.

The thoroughly traditional Menorcan town of Sant Lluis is near to many different local attractions, including the Bodegas Binifadet, a fascinating vineyard with a dedicated restaurant on site. This central location makes it an excellent base from which to explore the island!

The size of the town makes it perfect to discover on foot, and it’s especially easy to explore given its grid system. Particularly worth visiting are the many beaches that punctuate the southern coastline, which the nearby S'Algar watersports club makes the most of!

THE REGION

Sant Lluis is a traditional Menorcan town (though architecturally, its grid-based heritage from its french military occupying founders). Surrounded by picture postcard countryside and villages, Sant Lluis is a great base to explore the island, central to many attractions in the surrounding area and the popular south coast beaches.

The town is dominated by the main church, Eglesia de Sant Lluis, and being grid-based, its easy to find streets. Populated by locals and ex-pats from various countries, Sant Lluis has a thriving community with a relaxed, friendly pace. The capital Mahon is just a few minutes north by car, taxi or regular bus service.

Nearby S'Algar is a haven for watersport enthusiasts. Club S'Algar Diving provides water skiing, windsurfing and jet skiing. Divers can be hired too to help you explore the underwater caves and coral reefs along this favourite part of the coastline for divers.
