Located on the outskirts of Alaior with sweeping countryside views and a fairy-tale setting, this stunning four-bedroom villa is the perfect Menorcan retreat. Casa Magestic presents a stunning, contemporary holiday home, set within 2.5 acres of lush nature. The secluded, walled garden encloses the property, creating a private oasis of calm, within walking distance of the local restaurants and shops.
This romantic property offers plenty of space for eight guests, with spacious living areas spread over two floors and picture-frame windows capturing the stunning views from every corner of the villa.
Inside, Casa Magestic adopts an elegant and warm style, with soft tones and touches of bright colour to reflect the enchanting surroundings.
On the first floor, there are four bright and spacious double bedrooms, two of which offer stylish en-suite bathrooms, while the remaining two share a modern, family bathroom. The bedrooms are designed to let you relax, with elegant shutters allowing you to open up views of the surrounding countryside and listen to the soothing sounds of nature.
On the ground floor, the sociable living areas adopt the same pleasant environment as upstairs, with modern furnishings flawlessly blending into the charm and character of exposed stone and wooden beams. As the large terrace doors open, it is as if the walls fall away, creating a seamless connection between the interior and exterior, allowing you to live equally between the two.
The contemporary kitchen is fully-equipped for use, with an open-plan dining area forming a fabulous entertaining space. Two open arches lead through to the airy lounge, where relaxing sofas have been arranged around a fireplace, creating a warm and homely feel to this modern space.
From the moment you step outside, the exteriors are evidently the protagonists of this villa. Enclosed within a large garden, the spectacular terrace boasts a picturesque, private swimming pool and sun loungers, offering you a deluxe environment in which to enjoy the outdoors. A large shaded pergola offers space to dine al-fresco, with the dappled light giving a break from the bright sunshine.

What you should know…
- Due to the quiet location, we would recommend a car to explore the surrounding areas
- Make sure you visit the beautiful town of Mahon to explore the stunning natural harbour and old fisherman’s houses
- There is no air conditioning available in this rental, however there are effective ceiling and standing fans in all bedrooms and communal areas
- Please note, the house walls are made of local sandstone, shedding small grains despite thorough cleaning. This charming quirk is unavoidable due to the property's rich history

About the surrounding area of Casa MagesticCasa Magestic is located on the outskirts of Alaior, a small town in Menorca. This wonderful villa is situated just seven-minutes’ drive from Son Bou, the largest and one of the most popular beaches on the island. The charming town centre is just a short walk from the front door and boasts bustling local shops, bars and restaurants, with plenty of variety for your holiday! Menorca airport is only a 15-minute drive from the villa, so you can settle in to holiday mode within minutes of getting off the plane!
Mahon (Maó), just 20-minutes away by car, boasts a stunning natural harbour and is surrounded by a colourful collection of old fishermans houses and a plethora of fine cosmopolitan eateries and café bars. Walk up the ancient steps to the old town with characterful cafes, interesting shops and the colourful food and fish markets.
To their immense credit the Menorquins have taken great steps to protect their environment. As a result, the island's rugged coastline still offers a huge number of beautiful sandy coves (calas) to explore. The south of the island has lush pine groves, white sandy coves, isolated rocky inlets and busier beaches. The best known beaches in this area are Binibeca, Son Bou and Punta Prima.
Menorca is an island full of diverse charm, beauty and extremely welcoming inhabitants. Over the centuries, diverse cultural influences have bestowed on the island a distinctive character, evident in its landscape today. Ancient dry stone walls can be seen dividing the surprisingly lush green fields all over the island, stone monuments and burial mounds are plentiful and charming traditional Spanish Fincas can be seen scattered throughout this very pleasant landscape.
Located on the western side of the island is the lovely old port of Ciutadella with its maze of cobbled streets and striking architecture and many plazas and squares. This is such a delightful town, great for walking and people watching, as well as dining al fresco at one of its many fine restaurants and café bars.
For those who enjoy the outdoors, and are keen to explore, why not walk along a section of the Cami de Cavalls, the ancient bridle path that encircles the island and there are also many other lovely well signposted footpaths and cycle routes.

THE REGION

The large terrace and huge secluded garden are perfect for kids to play in safely, with evening barbecues and outdoor meals always proving popular with families! The Cami de Cavalls coastal path offers a series of roads leading to spectacular hidden beaches and coves. The sea around Menorca offers superb, safe conditions for kayaking, ideal for adults or children who haven’t tried it before.
Jeep safaris are an excellent family holiday activity - rattling along dirt tracks in a 4x4 is an ideal way to learn about the nature on the island - finished off with a picnic lunch in the Menorcan countryside.
Whether it be a boat trip, or a nature reserve, pony trekking or watersports, Menorca offers such an array of activities, and the restaurant and evening culture is very welcoming to children of all ages.

Utterly enchanting
We have stayed two years running at Casa Magestic and have found it utterly enchanting on both occasions.
The house, gardens and pool are the meaning of quiet luxury and offer an incredible sense of peace and seclusion.
The house is generously stocked with all of the amenities you could wish for, whether you are staying as adults or with children.
I cannot rate Casa Magestic more highly, we have already booked our third stay for 2024 and can imagine coming year after year. -

We had a truly magical stay
We had a truly magical stay. You wouldn’t believe what awaits you when you first arrive and enter through a little blue door on the edge of the road! It’s like a secret retreat. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and everything has been so well considered; wonderful shady spots, an amazing outdoor dining area, and fruit trees everywhere. As for the house itself, it’s all so well equipped with extremely comfortable beds, great bathrooms with powerful showers and an excellent kitchen. We didn’t know Menorca at all before this trip but we are already planning a return trip to Alaloir as it’s so well-placed to be able to explore the whole island. We did lovely morning trips to Cuitadella and Mahon and then back so quickly to enjoy the pool and gardens in the afternoon.
We travelled as 4 adults and 2 children under 4, and it worked really well for us. Nick, the owner, helped us organise a food delivery shop before we arrived, and provided loads of helpful advice on where to go, as well as helping us organise massages at the house. We have a very adventurous 2-year-old and Nick was really patient with us and her constantly evolving sleeping arrangements! Nothing ever felt like a problem. Could not recommend this house any more so if you’re hesitating, don’t wait!

This house is a dream come true. My girlfriends and I stayed there for a long weekend on May and had the best of experiences. Nick was such a communicative person and helped us with every single question without delay.
The rooms are lovely, everything was clean and the garden is superb.

Casa Magestic is a slice of heaven inside, and out
We are a family of six from across three generations who stayed at Casa Magestic for 12 days in July 2019.
The house itself is tastefully and thoughtfully renovated. It is extremely livable and discretely elegant.
The stone walls and floors keep the house cool and the pool keeps the guests amused and refreshed. The gardens themselves are jaw droppingly beautiful, alive, peaceful, day and night. As our twelve year-old daughter remarked, you can explore the island if you want, but you do not feel compelled to go out, because it is so enchanting and comfortable “at home”.
We shopped in the nearby town, cooked lovely meals, read novels, watched the birds and butterflies circle the gardens, laughed under the shooting stars, admired the plants, observed the roving tortoises and splashed in the pool. The beds were comfortable and we slept very deeply. In sum, we wanted for nothing and marveled at everything.
If you do choose to adventure outside of the Magestic haven, there are stunning beaches with turquoise waters, bike excursions, country rambling, shoe and cheese shopping, mouth watering local restaurants and gorgeous island drives all at a ten minute drive from the house.
Finally by staying in Alaior, an authentic town, you experience the true Menorca. Menorca itself is a secret: a blissful and relatively undeveloped island.
Most importantly, Nick the visionary and owner of Casa Magestic is a conscientious, kind, prompt host who truly cares about his guests and his property.

Heavenly
We travel a lot and we had one of our best holidays ever at the magical Casa Magestic. If you want to totally spoil yourself and TOTALLY relax we cannot recommend it highly enough.
First there is the house with it’s tasteful, neutral decoration, amazingly comfortable beds, great well stocked kitchen and plentiful bathrooms - the showers have good water pressure!
Then the incredible landscaped garden.Just beautiful. The planting is just perfect. It is unbelievably peaceful. It feels completely secluded. We hardly heard another soul. The only thing you do hear is the chirping of the many birds. It is a wildlife haven. Sitting having breakfast outside and listening to the birds and bees, watching butterflies dancing on the grass and even being visited by the occasional native tortoise is utter heaven.
There are many spots for sunbathing - or sunshading - reading and even browsing on the decent speed wifi. And the pool built into an old water cistern is just inspired and makes for a refreshing dip.
The property is perfectly situated to explore the island (although I have to say we hardly ever left the house it is so beautiful).
The pretty Alaior town is minutes away by foot . Perfect to wander into the square and have a cold beer. The supermarkets are very close in the car.
Nick always responded immediately to any requests. He was really helpful about where to eat, shop etc.
We are planning when we can return. -
Beautifully renovated Minorcan Estate
Despite the high season, the property is private and peaceful, with everything one could wish for in one place. Located perfectly in the center of the island, all attractions and nature are a short drive away. Would recommend it to everyone, really loved staying there, a beautiful estate.

So close to home and yet a real get-away
Casa Magestic is a unique house, as beautiful in real life as it is on the website. The house has been carefully designed and yet it is a holiday house that is easy to maintain. The simple and harmonious color scheme, the natural stone and the mediterranean light come together to create a restful and serene atmosphere. What a bliss ! The house is spacious and offers many places to relax, be it in the garden, in the pool area or inside. The gardens still need to be developed but there are many fruit trees, so we were able to make a jar of our own Casa Magestic fig jam… The pool is set in an old cistern, which makes it really special too.
As for the surroundings, the small town of Alaior is lively and very authentic, many local people gather on the streets in the late afternoon and the cafes are full of joyous crowds having a drink before going home. We loved it. It's definitely worth driving to the beach rather than staying in a beach complex and miss the experience. As for Menorca, we fell in love with it. Pristine nature, beautiful beaches, no bling. So close to home and yet a real get-away. Than you for providing such a nice experience! We will be back. -
The property is very private, yet not secluded
This was our second visit to Alaior, a perfect place to stay to explore all parts of the Island. We have found Alaior to be one of the most unspoilt and friendly Menorcan towns, complete with a wood fired baker’s oven in a traditional bakery, which we stumbled across down a small side street one evening.
Casa Magestic is a rather special place to stay. It is newly renovated with great attention to detail and tastefully furnished. All the appliances were new and the kitchen was well equipped. Traditional stone walls and the marble floors kept the inside pleasantly cool.
The property is very private, yet not secluded. Doors open straight onto the garden and even though some of the planting is not yet established, we found mature cherry, apricot, orange, lemon, pear, almond and pomegranate trees. Spotting the tortoises roaming free in the wild area became a favourite pastime.
We flew from Exeter, four hours door to door, and would definitely consider booking this property again next year.
