Located to the south of Alcúdia and the Albufera Natural Park, Villa Maricruz offers wonderful views of the mountainous Mallorcan countryside. In a verdant spot with a large garden and private swimming pool, up to eight guests can enjoy outdoor life on the island at this high-quality villa.
The spacious terrace is bound to be well-used during your time at Villa Maricruz. You can settle down on a sun lounger with a view over the pool to the mountains beyond, or enjoy a meal on the covered part of the terrace. Villa Maricruz provides a barbecue for you, with lots of space on the lawn should you wish to invite some friends over.
Inside, check out the open-plan living and dining area which features chunky leather sofas, intriguing art and furnishings and direct access to the terrace. There is satellite TV and Wi-Fi at this villa, plus a music system and DVD player so you can always be enjoying something you love.
The attractive kitchen adds all you will need during your stay, including a washing machine, dishwasher and a huge fridge and freezer. There are two shower rooms, as well as an en-suite bathroom attached to the spacious master bedroom, which features an enticing corner bath. There is also a large vanity unit and mirror, making getting ready for a night out a real pleasure.
Two twin bedrooms join a second double bedroom. All of the bedrooms have air conditioning when you need it, ensuring cool and comfortable nights.
At just over 3km from the beach at Can Picafort, Can Biel puts the best of Mallorca’s eastern coast within easy reach. The white sands and clear waters at Can Picafort make the beach perhaps the town’s biggest attraction. If things get crowded, head for the dunes of Playa de Muro – and while you’re there, enjoy the high-quality dining experience of Ponderosa Beach.

The east coast of Mallorca is full of beautiful, and easily accessible, places to see. Pollença is an attractive town in the foothills of the Tramuntana mountains. With beautiful architecture to appreciate, such as the Calvari steps, the town is rich in history. Among its highlights are the ‘Pont Romà’, an ancient Roman bridge, the Mare de Deu dels Angels church with its famous rose window, and the Convent de Sant Domingo.
The neighbouring port, Puerto de Pollença, lies to the north and has one of the area’s best beaches, with numerous bars and restaurants to explore in the vicinity. Puerto de Pollença also offers water-sports, a water park for children, and a golf course can also be found just outside the town.
Also to the north of Pollença is Cala Sant Vicenc, one of Mallorca’s smaller resorts, and home to three beaches: Cala Molins, Cala Barques and Cala Clara. The landscape is dramatic and hilly, with rugged cliffs and rocks, and its popularity with visitors has seen it develop some excellent restaurants, tapas bars and useful amenities.
Further down the coast, Alcúdia has a large marina, serving as a boarding point for boat trips to Menorca and the Spanish mainland. The town is considered one of the most attractive in the area, so don’t miss out on seeing its historic centre, visiting the open-air market or seeing Spain’s smallest Roman amphitheatre.
Many beautiful places can be found in the areas further inland, such as the Natural Park S’Albufera, the largest of its kind in the Balearics. Pollença is easily accessible, with Palma de Mallorca Airport around 60km away.
