Villas don’t come much closer to the beach than Villa Eugenia, a delightful 4-bedroom property on Mallorca’s Can Picafort waterfront. Villa Eugenia offers stylish living within an easy walking distance of local amenities, with a private hot tub – steps away from Can Picafort’s white sands – one of its highlights.
The house features a spacious terrace with full view of the ocean. You can relax on a sun lounger, enjoy the seating areas or have a meal in the sunshine, with a barbecue available for you to use. An extended soak in the hot tub as night falls will be another special treat at Villa Eugenia.
Inside, the villa is set over two floors. Directly accessible from the terrace, you have a large, open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. There is plenty of comfortable seating, satellite TV and Wi-Fi, and the large patio doors ensure the sea is still very much insight. The kitchen has all the useful appliances, including a dishwasher, microwave and washing machine.
Also on the ground floor, there is a beautiful double bedroom with en-suite shower area, a twin bedroom and a family shower room. All are elegantly furnished and get lots of natural light.
Upstairs, you will find two more bedrooms, which share the use of a family shower room. These rooms offer the most breathtaking views over the Mediterranean, an extraordinary sight to wake up to each morning.
Can Picafort has become one of the area’s most popular resorts, and its family-friendly beach is the star attraction. The town also holds a regular street market on Fridays and has plenty of bars and places to eat – some as close as 20m from Villa Eugenia.
In less than 30 minutes you can take the scenic drive up the coast to wonderful Alcúdia. East of the town, golf lovers, won’t want to miss the immaculate Club de Golf Alcanada, with every hole offering a gorgeous view towards the Bay of Alcúdia and the Alcanada lighthouse.

The east coast of Mallorca is full of beautiful and easily accessible, places to see. Pollensa is an attractive town in the foothills of the Tramuntana mountains.
With stunning architecture to appreciate, such as the Calvary steps, the city is rich in history. Among its highlights are the ‘Pont Romà’, an ancient Roman bridge, the Mare de Deu dels Angels church with its famous rose window, and the Convent de Sant Domingo.
The neighbouring port, Puerto de Pollensa, lies to the north and has one of the area’s best beaches, with numerous bars and restaurants to explore in the vicinity. Puerto de Pollensa also offers water-sports, a water park for children, and a golf course can also be found just outside the town.
Also to the north of Pollença is Cala Sant Vicenc, one of Mallorca’s smaller resorts, and home to three beaches: Cala Molins, Cala Barques and Cala Clara. The landscape is dramatic and hilly, with rugged cliffs and rocks, and its popularity with visitors has seen it develop some excellent restaurants, tapas bars and useful amenities.
Further down the coast, Alcúdia has a large marina, serving as a boarding point for boat trips to Menorca and the Spanish mainland. The town is considered one of the most attractive in the area, so don’t miss out on seeing its historic centre, visiting the open-air market or seeing Spain’s smallest Roman amphitheatre.
Many beautiful places can be found in the areas further inland, such as the Natural Park S’Albufera, the largest of its kind in the Balearics. Pollensa is easily accessible, with Palma de Mallorca Airport around 60km away.
