Townhouse Fornalutx is a unique and historical holiday home located in the heart of Fornalutx. This stunning townhouse has plenty of character, and has been restored to an high standard; with 3 lovely bedrooms and its own private rooftop pool, the property is a brilliant choice for a family, groups of friends or multiple couples travelling together that wish to experience the tradition, landscape and culture of the west coast.

For those looking to relax in a very convenient location, Townhouse Fornalutx provides a perfect home away from home. Street parking is approx 500 mtr's from the property and the main entrance is located up steps just off the square and opposite the church so perfectly located for walking around the town.

The property is the epitome of stylish rustic living; this grand townhouse is made up of several floors. Upon entering the house, guests are greeted with an impressive entrance hall with cobble stone flooring; this leads to a spacious and comfortable living room with a fireplace, as well as a large kitchen with a dining area that has access to the gorgeous pool and pool terrace. There is a double bedroom on the entrance level.

The three bedrooms and three bathrooms have each been finished beautifully and to the highest standard. In addition, on the top floor, there is another living-dining room with kitchen and fireplace and an office space, which is usually locked, but could also be used as another bedroom. This needs to be requested from the owner.

Outside, there is a beautiful pool and pool terrace, as well as a lovely outdoor BBQ/dining area. The outdoor space is completely private and offers unparalleled views of the rolling hills surrounding traditional Fornalutx. The outdoor dining facilities provide the perfect setting for guests to prepare and enjoy delicious al fresco meals together.

Despite being located in the middle of a busy town, Townhouse Fornalutx has a private and secluded ambience, providing guests with the perfect setting to enjoy a relaxing and memorable trip. The property is not ideal for anyone that has problems with stairs, as there are steps and stairs throughout.

In Fornalutx, guests will find lovely restaurants with terraces overlooking the orange and olive groves, hear the peaceful sound of goat bells in the distance and enjoy magnificent views towards Puig Major, Mallorca's highest peak. In the other direction, the charming town of Soller is just a leisurely walk away, where you will find characterful café-bars, restaurants and all the amenities you should need. The nearest beach is in Port de Soller, just a short drive from Fornalutx.

With a rich maritime past, this area escaped the over the development of other parts of the island and it is now a pleasant seaside resort with good facilities. There are two beaches within Port de Roller – Platja d’en Repic beach which is popular with families and the closer Platja des Traves, where you can hire pedal boats. You can also pick up a boat trip to the mountainous coastline of Sa Calobra where it’s a short walk to the Torrent de Pareis.

This area is a walkers paradise and many of the paths through the Serra de Tramuntana start or pass through the area. There are also many gentle walks for those less experienced yet still want to explore the beauty of this area.

Bike rental is also possible and a good way to potter between local villages as well as more challenging routes. Villages in the area not to be missed include idyllic and artistic Deia near the sea and a little further south is the rural town of Valldemossa in the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana.

For a more laid-back experience, Fornalutxis’s cafes offer terraces with views of olive and orange groves scaling right up to the pine-clad foothills of Puig Major (Mallorca’s highest mountain).

Port de Soller is just a short drive away, and offers a range of watersports and boating excursions, as well as shops, restaurants and bars. Stop here for a drink or spot of lunch and then head to the beach.
