Villa Viena is a beautiful Mediterranean-style 6-bedroomed villa with a private pool and grounds, sleeping up to 12 guests in a tranquil countryside location between Pollensa and Alcudia.
Surrounded by greenery, this spacious stone-clad villa has a tranquil, relaxed ambience and fabulous outside space, seamlessly merging traditional features with minimal contemporary style; Villa Viena has a neutral pallet, open beams, warm woods, cool tiles and chic furnishings along with modern bathrooms, air conditioning and Wi-Fi throughout.
Through the entrance hall, light streams through floor-to-ceiling windows of the large bright open, style living/dining area. There is ample seating, including oversized leather sofas and stylish arty recliners and a bold statement fireplace. This is a lovely space to kick back and relax. The dining space is elegant and fresh and offers plenty of space to enjoy tasty delights and is set beside the large sleek kitchen. With an island workspace, this well-equipped kitchen is a chef's delight offering all the mod cons, including oven, hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. There is a separate playroom for the kids to watch TV, play games or catch up online. The convenient sofa-bed and bathroom next door are perfect for staff or nannies if needed.
Three of the villas' delightful bedrooms are conveniently located on the ground floor giving great flexibility for larger family groups. Each bedroom on the ground floor benefits from an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Bedroom 1 is a compact children's bedroom with bunk beds, a single bed and a pull-out bed (optional); bedroom 2 is a flexible twin room that can be turned into a double room, and bedroom 3 is a large airy double bedroom.
Upstairs, the large master bedroom enjoys an en-suite bathroom with a tub and shower and has access to a delightfully furnished terrace overlooking the pool, the perfect spot for sundowners! Bedroom 5 is an airy double room with an en-suite bathroom, a shower across the hall with access to the terrace, and bedroom 6 is a tranquil double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a shower.
The outside space is simply gorgeous with an expansive covered terrace with oversized wicker furniture to sink into, ideal for pre or post-dinner drinks, and a large comfortable dining area with wonderful views over the beautiful grounds where you can fire up the barbeque or enjoy fabulous feasts under the stars.
The pool area is secluded and beautiful. The inviting pool (7 x 3.5 m) is set within a backdrop of colourful shrubs, shady trees and a vast green lawn and is framed by elegant loungers and shady parasols; relaxation is the order of the day here!

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa VienaVilla Viena is in a tranquil countryside location, only a short drive from the enchanting ancient town of Pollensa. This beautiful region offers an amazing authentic Mallorca experience and a chance to get close to nature with picturesque villages, fabulous beaches and spectacular scenery.
Pollensa is picturesque and rich in history. With cobbled streets and traditional buildings of warm blonde stone, Pollensa retains an authentic charm. The old town is buzzing each Sunday morning when the town centre fills with over 300 stalls selling local produce, clothes and arts & crafts. Sights to see include a wonderful ancient Roman bridge, ‘ Pont Roma’ and the18th century Mare de Deu dels Angels church with a famous rose window. The Convent of Sant Domingo, with its Baroque cloister, is very beautiful, and there are wonderful ancient monasteries to see in the surrounding countryside, including Santuari de Lluc, which is totally stunning and well worth a visit.
Slightly further afield is Port de Pollensa, which has a long and wide golden sand beach with plenty of amenities and is very popular with families. The promenade is full of shops, bars and restaurants; however, if you are looking for a more tranquil natural experience, just head north of the port and walk along the tree-lined Pine Walk promenade; it’s a lovely place for an evening stroll or to enjoy a sundowner and take in the beautiful views across the bay.
Cala Formentor is around 7km to the northwest of Port de Pollensa and is arguably one of the most beautiful spots on the Island; the turquoise sea and fine white sands, with a delightful backdrop of pine forest and mountain views, stretch for a kilometre, and there is plenty of shade from the huge pine trees. A great way to get to Formentor Beach is to take a Boat Trip from Port Pollensa; you can purchase tickets at the marina and take in wonderful views of the bay and get a closer glimpse of the lighthouse at Cap de Formentor.
Pollenca is a fabulous base for hiking and cycling due to its proximity to the Serra de Tramuntana Mountains and the stunning coast. There are cycling and hiking routes for every level, and there are plenty of places to rent bikes. Golf enthusiasts are well catered for in this region, the 9-hole Pollensa Golf course is not far from the property, and the n 18-hole course, Golf Alcanada, is to the north of the Alcudia harbour area.

THE REGION
Pollensa, in the north of the island, is an ancient town of attractive narrow streets and an impressive main square, lined with cafés, restaurants and bars, and is just a few kilometres from Port de Pollensa.
The town has several places of interest to visit, including the Roman bridge, signposted ‘Pont Roma’, which is still in use, and the Puig de Pollensa – a small mountain topped by a monastery just outside the town. Here we provide all the information you want to know to make the most of this relaxed yet culturally satisfying inland town.

Best Suited For: All AgesVilla Viena is a wonderful property for families with children of all ages. Inside there is plenty of 'kids' space, and the beautiful pool and grounds offer plenty of room for fun and games. This is a lovely retreat after long sunny adventures exploring this magical natural region.
The north coast has a huge selection of well-kept sandy beaches, and there are multiple beaches suitable for kids and family days out.
Puerto Pollensa beaches are wide and clean, with plenty of facilities and water sports available, a trip around the bay in a glass bottom boat is always a winner with the kids!
The warm, clear shallow waters of Alcudia Bay, with fine, clean sand and a huge selection of water sports available, make this a very popular spot with families and a perfect location for those with small children.
There are lots of beach bars and cafes, and there are great facilities, including playgrounds and water sports for the kids. As the beach area is so large, an uncrowded space is only ever a walk away, and a beach trip with the kids should be stress-free.
To the west of Pollensa is Cala Barques, which is an ideal beach for families. The sheltered beach is around 60 metres long, the waters are clean and calm, and the sand is fine, well-kept and has a gentle slope. There is a lifeguard and plenty of umbrellas and loungers.
Port de Alcudia is home to Hidropark, the only water park the North of Mallorca and has a wide variety of water rides and attractions for everybody to enjoy.
There are loads to see and do in the capital Palma, and it only takes less than an hour by car. The Palma Aquarium is a real gem housing an abundance of sea life and the deepest shark tank in Europe– don't miss the turtles in the Mediterranean gardens; the kids will love them! The Aquarium also has play areas, a Pirates' ship and fountains for the kids to enjoy.

Second stay
We knew the villa from a previous stay but it’s worth saying just how good the welcome from Tom the villa manager was. Immaculately clean, every detail thought through and even cold wine and beer in the fridge on arrival. Huge thanks for all the help with arranging a chef for a special birthday meal - and for Tom fixing the one issue we had immediately.

Best property we have stayed in
This was exactly the holiday we hoped for after nearly 2 years of not being able to return to Pollensa. We had a warm welcome from our Villa manager Tom and the property was excellent. Every detail had been thought through and executed to a very high standard. Our two families had plenty of space and our teenagers had plenty of WIFi! After 10 years of visiting the island this was the best property we’ve stayed in by far.
