About the surrounding area of Villa GospVilla Gosp is just 4km away from the town centre of Pollensa, offering guests the chance to explore this delightful region with ease and convenience. In the main plaza of the town, you will find the Pollensa Market. This market occurs every Sunday between 8 am and 1:30 pm, making it a pristine event throughout the town. Pollensa Market contains an astonishing 300 stalls, all of which are owned by a variety of local merchants. Guests are encouraged to browse through each of the stalls, purchasing a selection of artisan clothes, handbags, and more as they pass through. There is also a section dedicated to fresh produce, allowing guests to gain a more authentic view of Pollensa’s finest dishes.
The Oratory of Roser Vell is a 14th-century chapel that was dedicated to the Our Lady of Rosary, known as the patron saint of victories. This religious landmark holds a large amount of significance within the town and presents a signature Baroque-style exterior. In turn, this allows tourists to gain a more educated insight into Pollensa’s far-reaching history. Inside, guests will be blown away by the incredible altarpiece that symbolises an exquisite carving of Our Lady of Rosary, which was first created in 1651. The Oratory of Roser Vell is just 2-minutes away from the centre of Pollensa, making it very easy for guests to visit during their time in the region.
Villa Gosp is also just 10km away from the magnificent Puerto de Pollensa beach. This beach is teeming with soft white sand and crystal clear waters, making this a landmark that should not be missed. This location also has a range of facilities for guests to use, including an array of public toilets and sun loungers. Thus, guests do not have to worry about a thing during their time here. Due to the remarkably shallow water found at the beach, guests are encouraged to take part in the many watersport activities that are found here, such as sailing and windsurfing. There is also an abundance of local restaurants located close by, so guests can explore a range of native dishes and take in the vibrant atmosphere of the town.

Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesVilla Gosp allows children to explore the exhilarating town of Pollensa without drifting too far away from the property. Pollensa is teeming with exciting history, which is perfect for young developing minds that are always eager to know more. Placa de l’Almonia can be found just 2-minute away from the centre of Pollensa and is packed with unique references to European history. This small square contains a house that was used during the 16th century to serve and care for some of the town’s poorest citizens. Thus, this location holds a large amount of significance and adoration for many contemporary residents. Plus, Placa de l’Almonia was the battleground for the conflict between Pollensa’s citizens and the army that ambushed the town on 30th May 1550. In order to praise those who lost their life defending Pollensa, a remembrance ceremony is held in August every year.
The Pollensa Museum is just a short walk away from the town centre and is filled with an assortment of unique art pieces. This immersive museum was constructed between 1588 and 1616, highlighting its dense and vibrant legacy. During its construction, the museum hosted a wide range of Gothic altarpieces. These items were highly praised in the Summer Exhibition of Painting during the 1960s. Despite being built in the 17th century. The museum was not officially founded until 1975. The Pollensa Museum allows guests to explore the town’s history through a range of inviting art pieces, giving them a new perspective on the town. Plus, this museum is free to enter for all guests.
Just 45-minutes away from the centre of Pollensa is the exquisite Joan March Gardens. This far-reaching landscape is home to a plethora of unique trees and plants, creating a diverse habitat for a variety of amazing ecosystems. The Joan March Gardens were founded in the late 1980s in order to recognise the first-born son of the March family. This family is one of the wealthiest in Pollensa, helping to boost the town’s economic ventures for generations. This public park is also considered to be an immersive botanical garden, giving children a tranquil environment to explore at their own pace. The gardens are open 24-hours a day, making them a very accessible tourist destination.
