Surrounded by nature and offering expansive green outdoor space, it’s hard to believe you are only a short drive from the wonderful resort of Porto Cristo. This charming traditional resort offers plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and cafes and has a beautiful beach. This striking region offers an amazing authentic Mallorca experience with picturesque villages, fabulous beaches, hidden coves and stunning scenery and is a lovely location for families, outdoor enthusiasts and golf lovers.

Finca Drac is nestled in the countryside, surrounded by trees and fields. The pretty Mediterranean style house offers an exterior of warm blonde stone and pretty decorative windows and an interior of whitewashed walls, exposed beams, cool tiles, warm woods and comfortable, relaxed furnishings.

The inviting, charming living area is a simple yet stylish chill-out zone with large bright squashy sofas, and a wall-mounted satellite TV. The generous dining area has a large formal Spanish style dining table and chairs, ideal for fabulous feasts and lively dinner parties.

The relaxed open ‘country’ style kitchen offers plenty of space to rustle up some gourmet delights and is well equipped with a hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave and freezer. There is a large rustic dining table perfect for casual breakfasts or light bites throughout the day.

There are four delightful flexible bedrooms decorated in muted whites and natural woods, and each bedroom contains two single beds, a great option for families and groups alike. The property has two indoor bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bathtub and shower, and there is a further outside shower in the pool area.

The outside space at Finca Drac is amazing. You can enjoy a lovely expansive terrace that leads out to a large lawn surrounded by paths, trees and panoramic views. The gorgeous centrepiece is a large decked pool area with a large inviting private pool (8m x 4m) framed by oversized loungers and colourful parasols. Guests will love the large covered dining space and built-in barbeque, a lovely spot for alfresco dining on balmy evenings. The kids are going to love the play area with swings, and the grownups will appreciate slipping over to comfortable seating areas in shady spots to enjoy aperitifs or sundowners after long lazy sunny days.

Finca Drac has free Wi-Fi and is air-conditioned. The property has laundry facilities, including a washing machine, and there is a baby’s highchair if required. The property also offers parking facilities.

Finca Drac is in a tranquil rural location only 4 km from the centre of Porto Cristo.

Porto Cristo is a lovely harbour town in a picturesque bay surrounded by low cliffs and retains an authentic charm in spite of its popularity. The big attraction of Porto Cristo is its fabulous white sandy beach, extending between the marina and the steep rock face to the east; the beach facilities are excellent, and there are numerous water sports available.

A quieter alternative, and the nearest beach to the property, is Cala Mendia, a beautiful small sandy beach 70m long and 110m wide. With one popular restaurant that also serves as a beach bar and no water sports on offer, this is a more laid back authentic beach experience.

For the adventurous, Cala Morlanda is a beautifully hidden bay popular with snorkelers and cliff divers, there is no beach as such, and the terrain is very rocky; however, this is a beautiful spot coveted by locals and magical to see.

Manacor, Mallorca’s second city, is only a short drive from the property and is the birthplace of tennis superstar Rafael Nadal who has opened a state of the art tennis academy, sports centre and museum here. Manacor is the centre of Mallorca’s pearl industry, and here you can find several large factories which you can tour and watch the whole process of pearl manufacture. Also worth a visit is the fabulous weekly market held on Mondays in Placa Ramon Llull from 08:00 to 13:00.

The east coast of Mallorca is a real treat to see, and a fantastic way to access its hidden treasures is to try one of the many boat tours available from Manacor that travel up the coast and stop off at beautiful hidden coves.

Golf enthusiasts are well catered for in this region, and one of the closest to the property is the picturesque 18-hole courses at Club de Golf Son Servera. The course offers challenges for many abilities, and you can enjoy glorious views over the bay of Cala Millor, and the clubhouse is a wonderfully relaxing spot to enjoy that ‘19th’ hole!

Manacor is the second largest town in Mallorca, after the capital of Palma. The town's reputation as Mallorca's home of industry has left Manacor with a very distinctive feel. The largely residential town is situated on the North Eastern tip of the island, with many of the nearby coastal resorts and attractions falling within its municipality.

For those looking to get to know Mallorca through its nature, Manacor is home to the only 'Via Verde' in the Balearics. The 29 km eco-path begins in Manacor and offers to change scenery along the way.

Manacor is a very important city for tennis sport on the island. Rafa Nadal was born in Manacor and is now building 'The Rafael Nadal International Tennis Centre' to attract talented youngsters from all over the world.

Finca Drac is a lovely rural retreat and a great place for a family holiday. Kids will love the space and freedom this property offers; the outside space is perfect for the kids, and they will absolutely adore the gorgeous pool.

A visit to Mallorca would not be complete without visiting some of the fabulous beaches, and a 30-minute drive should take you to some of the best.

Close to hand, Porto Cristo beach is approximately 300 m long and extends between the marina and a steep rock face on the east side. The beach facilities are excellent. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for rent, and there are sanitary facilities and freshwater showers.

The East Coast has a huge selection of well-kept sandy beaches. The Blue Flag beach of Cala Millor is an exceptional, beautiful sandy beach, stretching nearly 2km; with plenty of water sports available and a lovely long palm-lined promenade with shops, bars and restaurants, there is plenty to entertain the kids, and the beach is very popular.

For a quieter experience, a lovely option is the sandy beach of Canyamel, a little tropical paradise in the middle of a nature reserve; the 300m beach is safe and shallow and perfect for the little ones.

One of the biggest attractions near Porto Cristo is the Cuevas del Drach caves (The Dragon Caves). In the stalactite cave is Lake Martel, the largest underground lake in Europe, over 170 metres long. The highlight of a visit to the caves is the live classical music concert on the water, and the kids will love the wonderful bonus of taking a boat ride on the magical lake for the last hundred metres of the tour.
It is highly advisable to book your visit in advance as it is cheaper and guarantees entry.

For budding cyclists and walkers, there are some fantastic trails in this region. The Greenway links the towns of Son Servera, Arta, San Llorenc, Son Carrio and Manacor together. This 29km route crosses into all the beautiful towns across the northeast coast, with plenty of places to stop for a bite to eat or drink  - Originally designed as a railway, but now converted to a flat walkway for all to enjoy, it is the perfect way to explore this corner of Mallorca.

This region is wonderful for kids to engage with outdoor living, be it hiking, biking, swimming or climbing; this is the chance to get back to nature in a stunning location.

Security deposit €250 charged to client’s credit card by the owner before/upon arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.

End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Linen & towels included? Bed linen and bath towels are included in the rental price.
Energy costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Internet access? Wi-Fi internet access included in rental price.
Minimum stay 5 nights during low season.
