Casa Soniday is a beautiful country house on the outskirts of Porto Petro, near Santanyi in Mallorca. It has been restored and has kept some of its original charms through the stone walls which gives the property a rustic style.

Its interior makes use of white walls so that the stone walls act as beautiful feature walls giving the villa character and style. Other characteristics of the villa are the exposed ceiling beams that go through the property, and the use of glass doors let in plenty of natural light into the rooms.

On the ground floor, there is an open living room which has access to the kitchen and dining area. The living area has large sofas around a television so that you can gather in this area and enjoy a movie together. The use of wooden furniture in the area adds to the charm of the villa and adds to the maturity of the property.

It is minimally decorated, but the stone walls add extra character. This large space has access to the kitchen and dining area which has the stunning exposed ceiling beams, as well as the modern open kitchen. This area has a long dining table that will seat the whole holiday party, and in this setting, you can have formal meals together. There is direct access to the outdoors with glass doors. There is also a utility room by the kitchen.

The ground floor also has three bedrooms, a mix of double and twin rooms. All of the rooms have en-suite bathrooms, with one of the en-suites being wheelchair accessible. The en-suite bathrooms have a mix of showers or baths available.

These ground floor rooms also have direct access outside onto the terrace, but they all have curtains that can be pulled across from the inside to grant privacy. This floor also has a guest toilet near the living room.

The remaining bedrooms are on the first floor: again, they all have en-suite bathrooms. They have all been similarly designed, with the same relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The bedrooms on the first floor also have access to terraces, all except one room which is made of two single beds. The terrace has outdoor seating furniture and it has been fenced, which increases safety while on it.

There is a private swimming pool; it’s a saltwater pool with a minimum depth of 0.70 metres. This part of the pool is separated from the rest of the pool and it is perfect for children. The maximum depth of the pool is 1.50meters. Around the pool, there are sun loungers for you to use which offer a great chance to top up those holiday tans!

There is a lawn area which is perfect for picnics and outdoor dining. In terms of outdoor dining, there is a brick-built BBQ so you can enjoy the ultimate summer food from the lawn or covered terrace.

  • The air conditioning is set on a timer to come on between 1pm -3pm and 9pm-9am
  • If you’re bringing young children on the holiday, the first cot and highchair are included in the price, but additional can be hired at additional costs per night
  • One of the bedrooms is externally accessed, either via an external staircase or from a terrace on the first floor and so may be less ideal for small children
  • Please note that adjacent to this villa are a few horses which are attended to on a daily basis

Porto Petro can be found within the district of Santanyi – it’s a fishing village which has remained rather traditional with its buildings. It contains a small harbour where you’ll see plenty of boats as well as find a departure point for boat trips. You’ll find no beach in this town, which is perfect if you’re looking for a holiday away from the busy nature of a beach town for tourists.

If you do fancy a beach day, you’ll find three nearby that can be reached easily at Cala Barca and Cala Mondrago. These beaches are smaller but beautiful and you’ll certainly get that day at the beach you were seeking. However, there is a natural park a short distance away: Mondrago. For nature lovers it’s perfect, but it also offers hiking trails and cycling trails that you can make the most of.

Santanyi is authentic, pretty and rural. It runs along coastline and benefits from those stunning surroundings. The natural park, Cabrera is the second largest in the Balearic Islands and you’re just a boat ride away from exploring it! Additionally, you’ll find places to eat and places to experience live music. Majorca is a beautiful island, full of nature to explore, food to sample and attractions to attend and experience.

For kids, the villa has Wi-Fi access and a television with access to English channels. So, if you need them to remain inside, or even wind down then they can occupy themselves with ease and with home comforts.

Additionally, there is a large swimming pool at the villa, and there is a separation in the pool where the depth is only 0.70 meters so it’s perfect for children who are learning or not confident. There is also a grass area that will be perfect for picnics and games!

Porto Petro is a fishing village, that has been kept traditional. You’ll find great places to eat if you’re fans of seafood, as well as other restaurants. For those families that love adventure, there is the chance to experience boat trips!

Or you can head into Mondrago and explore the nature park that has hiking trails and cycling trails for exploration. But if you fancy a family day at the beach, you do have access to some beaches nearby with a car ride.

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Security deposit €300 charged to client's credit card as a pre-authorisation at least 2 weeks prior to arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.
Arrival time 4:00 pm.
Departure time 10:00 am.
Energy costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Linen & towels included? Yes, included in the rental price. Please bring your own pool towels.
Pool towels included? Not included in the rental price.
Heating costs included? Not included in the rental price, please enquire.
End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Internet access? Wi-Fi internet access included in the rental price.
Minimum stay 7 nights. All other durations on request.
Changeover day Saturday during peak season. Flexible during other periods.
Pets welcome? Not allowed.
Smoking Allowed? Smoking & Vaping are not permitted.
