Situated in a rural area of Felanitx, Casa Piedad is a rustic and homely property offering guests an idyllic and serene getaway in the heart of the Mallorcan countryside. With three bedrooms, a private pool and oodles of space, this characterful villa accommodates up to six guests comfortably and oozes family charm.
 
The villa is located on a hill, and enjoys a very quiet location with magnificent open views of the surrounding countryside, with mountains visible in the distance. The villa is one of three in the immediate area, meaning seclusion and privacy are possible at Casa Piedad. The traditional stone house has a wonderful outdoor area, with a large curved private pool and an adjoining jacuzzi/small shallow pool. With plenty of indulgent sun loungers, guests can top up their tan with a good book in hand while the kids splash about in the pool. The villa also has a shaded ping pong table for those with a competitive streak!
 
An outdoor shower allows guests to cool off quickly, and a lush green lawn provides the perfect space for children to run around and play, and a lush green lawn also encircles the pool area, providing the perfect space for children to run around and play. There are two outdoor dining areas; one by the pool area with a parasol for shade, and another in what used to be a garage, that has now been converted into a lovely dining area with a built-in barbecue, allowing guests to cook up delicious meals and eat alfresco at any time of day!
 
Exposed stone walls, wooden beams and rustic terracotta floors are repetitive features at Casa Piedad; the interior has been tastefully furnished, creating a homely and comfortable environment for guests. The open plan living/dining area provides space for the whole group to spread out, with numerous lounge areas for guests to relax.

A functional and spacious kitchen provides plenty of prep space for cooking up delicious meals, and the lovely wooden dining table seats up to eight - perfect for casual dinner parties. This home features plenty of eclectic and quirky belongings collected over the years and provides a lovely home away from home for guests.
 
Guests will find one twin bedroom and bathroom downstairs, as well as two further twin rooms and a double room upstairs. The upstairs bedrooms share one spacious and well-equipped bathroom. Each of the bedrooms offers a comfortable and private haven, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside; guests can rest and recharge in their lovely bedrooms after a lazy day in the hot sun.
 
This rural villa offers guests a serene slice of heaven with fantastic facilities, and with the town of Felanitx just on your doorstep, there is something for everybody to enjoy at Casa Piedad.

Casa Piedad is situated in a rural and secluded location, just a short drive away from Felanitx, a rural town and municipality in the region of Pla & Llevant in southeast Mallorca. Situated around 50 kilometres from the capital city of Palma, it is now the centre of Mallorca’s second-largest wine region.
 
Felanitx has good shopping facilities for every day, plus many local products such as wine and pottery. Mallorca is mostly known for the production of red wine, but this area also produces a number of very good quality white wines. There is a regular Sunday market, plus permanent stalls which sell flowers and fresh produce every day, except on Mondays and is based in Sa Placa.

There is also the imposing church of San Miguel within the town which dates back to the 16th century, has a sweeping staircase entrance and once suffered a major collapse which took the lives of hundreds of worshippers. There is a monument within the church to memorialise this.
 
Felanitx enjoys a relaxed atmosphere where you can simply stroll around and enjoy the golden stone buildings and hidden squares. Once you have explored the town, one of the most enjoyable things to do in Felanitx visits some of the surrounding vineyards and sample the local wine. Hiking and biking is a great way to take in the local countryside where you can find peace and quiet even in peak season. There are a number of routes which allow both gentle and more hilly, challenging walks and rides.
 
Felanitx is not far from the sea, so you do not have to travel far to find watersports, sailing and yachting. The nearest major beach resorts to Felanitx are Portocolom and Cala D’or, but there is a pretty little cove called ‘Sa Nau’, a short distance away, which snakes inland from the coast and offers fine white sand and crystal clear waters. The nearest golf course is the 18-hole green of Vall D'or.

Casa Piedad is perfect for those with children; a cot and highchair can be provided upon request, and the bedrooms can be configured to suit families. The garden will provide plenty of space for outdoor activities, and the private pool in the garden offers a prime space for children to have fun and tire themselves out, while you look on from the comfort of a sun lounger, ensuring you have an opportunity to relax whilst keeping an eye on the little ones.

The pool also has a separate jacuzzi/children’s pool, making it more suitable for young children. There is also a ping pong table, which should keep older children and even adults entertained.
 
Felantix is very close, where guests can wander through the historic streets and potter about in the shops. There are many castles close by, which children will enjoy visiting; near to Felanitx town, you can literally find castles in the air. The Castell de Santuri dates from 1228AD and is carved in the rock on the site of a former Saracen fortress.

The monastery of San Salvador dated from 1348 and was rebuilt in the 1700s. Both of these magnificent historic buildings are perched at the highest point up in the hills and allow views which stretch for miles around the surrounding countryside.
 
The coastal town of Cala Tropicana is just under twenty minutes’ drive, where there are more restaurants, shops and the beach to enjoy, where snorkelling, boating excursions and thrilling watersports are all on offer.

Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Security deposit €300 charged to client's credit card as a pre-authorisation at least 2 weeks prior to arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.
Arrival time 4 pm.
Departure time 10 am.
End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Linen & towels included? Bed linen and bath towels are included in the rental price. Please bring your own pool towels.
Energy costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Heating costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Internet access? Wi-Fi internet access included in rental price.
Minimum stay 7 nights. All other durations on request.
Changeover day Saturday. All other days on request.
Pets welcome? Not allowed.
Smoking Allowed? Not permitted.
Tax Tourist Tax included in the rental price.
Insurance Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, personal belongings, public liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.

- Please note that the air conditioning works on a timer, available from 2 pm - 4 pm and from 9 pm - 9 am.
