Situated in the pretty small coastal town of Sa Rapita, in the Southwest of Mallorca, Casa Fanos is a beautiful one storey casa, where the sandy coastline is just a 200m walk away.

On arrival through a gate in a stone wall and hedgerow that offers plenty of privacy in the residential area, a pretty terrace awaits you with a tall pine tree and plants at the front of Casa Fanos. Filled with natural daylight, the traditional casa boasts stone flooring, whitewash walls, authentic wooden furniture and a tranquil ambience throughout.

Through the main door, an airy, open-plan lounge and dining area can be found. The lounge has a traditional stone fireplace and a satellite TV, and comfortable sofas and armchairs. There is also a small dining table and a conventional cabinet filled with dinnerware. Beautiful French doors open out to the covered terrace and pool area outside. Adjacent to the living space, lies the spacious kitchen with a breakfast table, larder and utility room with a washing machine.
Casa Fanos has three bedrooms, which are situated through a wooden archway leading from the lounge. There is a beautifully unique traditional four poster bed in the first of the two double bedrooms. The twin room features two single beds, also beautifully conventional and a bright, welcoming bedspread. The spacious master bedroom features a modern double bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub and shower. The main family bathroom also has a bath and shower and beautiful décor to create a fresh ambience.

Outside in the garden, a covered terrace overlooks the stunning pool area, with a table and benches where you can enjoy al fresco dining throughout the day. A lawn surrounds the swimming pool and features a fish pond and a birdcage, which is great fun for children. Sunbeds and a parasol for shade overlook the pool, ideal for a relaxing sunbathe while lunch cooks on the built-in brick barbecue within a covered terrace area, along with a sink area.

Close by there is plenty to do, with the sailing club at Sa Rapita’s sandy beach, one of the most beautiful of the island, just 2 km away. On Saturday and Wednesday, there is a local market where fresh fruit and vegetables can be bought.

The house is located in a quiet area in the small coastal town of Sa Rapita, in the southeast of Mallorca. Sa Ràpita that belongs to the municipality of Campos is a tranquil town that has waterfront restaurants, which are famous for the seafood, should you want to treat everyone to a meal out. There are also supermarkets, a bakery and a chemist in Sa Rapita meaning local amenities are close by. You’ll be pleased to know there is a traditional weekly market on Wednesday and Saturday mornings where you can stock up on fresh fruit and vegetables.

If lounging on a beautiful beach is needed, the coast is 200m from the house! Walks along the coast is a lovely way to start the day. Sa Rapita beach is just 2 km away, where soft white sands and crystal waters await. The sailing club is fantastic if you want to have a go at taking to the sea. The beautiful sandy beach Ses Covetes and Es Trenc are also just a 15/20 minutes drive away.
