Located in the peaceful residential area of the Cala Sant Vincent whilst conveniently located to local amenities and a stunning selection of cove beaches, nicely surrounded by a cosy paved garden and lawn which gives the villa an instant welcoming home from home feel. Bright and well-presented, the interior is immaculately looked after by the thoughtful Mallorcan owners.

Character features include stone ‘Maresc’ archways, feature fireplace, country-style furnishings combined with modern fittings and fixtures throughout. In addition to the lawn and poolside sun decking, there is an additional covered L-shaped wood-beamed terrace to provide shade from the summer midday heat, also offering options for outdoor alfresco dining, reading or having a quick shady siesta, just like to locals.

Entering the property, you will be greeted by an open plan lounge, dining room and fully equipped modern kitchen with an island seating area. Stepping further inside the décor is equally appealing with stone and wooden beam archways, touches of antique artefacts and country-theme wooden shutters throughout. The lounge offers comfortable sofas, flat-screen satellite TV, Wifi, feature fireplace, music system and DVD and leads directly to the dining area/ kitchen with the option of island seating.

This is a perfect social area while cooking and offers direct access out to the covered terrace where you will find more exterior dining furniture and BBQ. The kitchen has all mod cons like built-in oven/microwave with island sink, overhead extractor and dishwasher.

Steps from the lounge lead to the three bedrooms, all twin rooms, with built-in wardrobes and air conditioning. Two bedrooms have direct access to a terrace at the rear of the property, which is perfect for some private time away from the pool area. There are also two communal bathrooms with showers located adjacent to the bedrooms.

The private swimming pool (3m x 2.5m) is conveniently located adjacent to the L shape terrace and is perfect for taking a dip to cool off. The shallow end is 1.3m deep. Therefore small children should always be supervised, and has a roman step and underwater seating allows access to the pool. Many hours can be spent here just sitting half in and half out of the water with brush fencing adjacent for privacy. The pool is slightly raised and overlooks the artificial grass area, sun loungers and gas BBQ, enabling the family to enjoy outdoor time altogether.

At Casa Orell, you are perfectly placed for easy exploration of what is, undoubtedly, one of Mallorca’s most celebrated and attractive areas. Appealing to walkers and cyclist alike, an intricated network of trails and rural lanes crisscrosses the surrounding landscape. Bird watchers and lovers of nature have the famous Tramuntana mountains just a few minutes’ drives away. Also being a perfect base for cyclists as this area connects to all routes.

Casa Orell is located in the Cala Sant Vincente which is a small resort town in north-eastern Majorca, Spain. It consists of three small beaches, plus a few bars and restaurants catering to tourists. Located at one end of the town is the hypogeum of Cala Sant Vicenç, perhaps the most spectacular hypogeum on Mallorca.

Pollensa 6 km from Casa Orell is located in the Cala Sant Vincente which is between the towns of Pollensa and Puerto Pollensa, the eastern end of the Serra de Tramuntana. Pollensa is an enchanting Mallorcan town packed with ancient blonde stone architecture, Pollenca doesn’t feel like many of the other towns which have surrendered to tourism.

Although tourists have long been attracted here, Pollensa has learned to accept and adapt to tourism without losing its soul. Wander the streets that lead to the church to discover traditional outlets selling a range of foods, arts and crafts as well as cafes, restaurants and bars. The highlight of the week is the authentic and traditional market that occurs every Sunday morning.

Get there early to secure the freshest fruit, vegetables, meat and fish. The Calvari steps provide the best view of the local area but are warned that to get to the top, you have to climb 365 of them. However, the climb is worth it, and the views definitely do not disappoint from the top.

Puerto Pollensa 9 km away from Casa Orell offers wonderful scenery, beautiful sandy beaches and a laid-back, friendly atmosphere, make Puerto Pollensa a favourite destination for many. With hotels on the seafront that still retain an old-fashioned air, having been built long before the concrete boom of the 1960s developments.

Today the town attracts mainly British and Madrileño families looking for something more than the hustle and bustle of the south coast resorts. With wonderful scenery, beautiful sandy beaches and a laid-back, friendly atmosphere, makes Puerto Pollensa a favourite destination for many.

Casa Orell is a welcoming family retreat, and it has indoor and outdoor space ready for any kids to enjoy. The cosy garden is spacious with artificial lawn and sun loungers for all the family. Kids can run around and enjoy games and picnics in this space, as well as making the most of the sun. Additionally, there is a private swimming pool with underwater seating which is perfect for sitting underwater to cool off.

If the weather isn’t optimal, then you have the added feature of satellite TV and the wi-fi being available for you to use. This can offer the kids some entertainment if needed on those bad weather days. Exterior shower located adjacent to the swimming pool for convenience.

Cala Sant Vincente - Scuba diving and snorkelling in the area of Cala Sant Vicenc is hugely popular, and there are excursions here most days during the peak season. These beaches can get very crowded in the peak months so for small children we would recommend visiting them during the quieter months.

Pollensa has everything you need for a wonderful family holiday, situated inland from some of Mallorca’s finest beaches. The town itself centres around beautiful cobbled streets leading to a traditional church. Wander the streets that lead to the famous church and discover traditional outlets selling a range of local food and arts.

With a very popular Sunday morning market, definitely worth a visit, you will find all the local produce on sale. The famous Calvari steps provide the best view of the local area but are warned that to get to the top you must climb 365 steps, however, it is worth it once you are at the top.

Puerto Pollença has some beautiful family beaches, and at some of them, you’ll find water sports available. This family-friendly and laid-back location in Mallorca has some lovely restaurants and activities ready for the family to experience and enjoy.

The warm summer evenings are ideal for taking family strolls along the pedestrianised promenades along the front, which lead towards the famous Pine Walk 1.9km. With the use of public transport, you’ll be able to explore the nearby locations and find even more for the whole family to experience.

Alcudia Waterpark - Located in a prime area in Port de Alcudia and just a few meters away from the town centre. Covering an area of close to 40.000 square metres, there is a wide variety of water rides and attractions that will delight both young and old alike! The beaches in Alcudia Playas De Muro are very popular with families due to the shallow water along the shoreline.
