This home is tucked away in a rural idyll - it is a cosy little get-away, ideal for a couple or small family, offering simplicity and an authentic farmhouse feel.

With its pretty, natural stone exterior and shutters and terracotta tiles, guests will delight at the natural charm of this stunning little home. The expansive lawns and fruit trees offer beautiful shade, while there is a large poolside terrace, with loungers - an ideal spot for reclining with a book or enjoying a cold drink!

Very much in keeping with the local style, there is an outdoor kitchenette and dining room, with a built-in brick barbecue oven; the family or group will be able to enjoy beautiful meals al fresco, sitting back enjoying grilled fish and local wines, with the fragrant scent of olive and lemon groves in the air.

The pace of life is designed for being leisurely at Villa Llonga; there is a bench on the terrace and outdoor lighting; ideal for merely sitting back and enjoying the tranquillity of the rustic setting.

There are an outdoor table tennis table and ample little nooks for intimate drinks. Pretty, fragrant and immaculately maintained, the outdoor spaces make for stylish outdoor living at Villa Llonga.

The interiors are simple, sleek and understated - yet offer every luxury. Sympathetically finished, they offer natural, earthy and muted tones for such a restful retreat - understated luxury is the tone of this home. The spacious kitchen with its sloping ceiling provides space for meals or snacks; every quality appliance is provided, and the light streams in.

The kitchen-dining space leads into the warm, inviting and homey living space, with its stone chimney and open fireplace, this is a true retreat for downtime and restoration.

Villa Llonga is nestled in a tranquil, rural spot, yet is only a matter of circa four kilometres to the local amenities including shops, bars, restaurants and supermarkets.

The airport is some fifty-five kilometres distance

Villa Llonga is about ten minutes from Cala d’Or. Close by; guests will be able to access the golf course at Cala d’Or. The closest village of S’Horta is just a short drive away, where all essential amenities can be found including bakery and shops.

Water sports and beach life are very much central to Majorca.  

Cycling is a significant part of the tourism trade in this part of Majorca - it has become a central hub for those wanting to make the most of the diverse array of northern routes and rugged, beautiful scenery.

With safe, yet challenging, mountain roads and year-round temperate weather, cycling enthusiasts will find themselves among a like-minded biking community.

Hiking is likewise very much a draw for visitors to the region; a beautiful hike being the route to the former monastery Lluc, situated in the Tramuntana mountains - along yet wonderfully rewarding path offering unspoilt views of luscious nature.

Golfers will be very much at home with an array of golf courses to select from.

Whether it be pilates, or paddle boarding, kite surfing or chartering a private boat to explore hidden corners of the coastline, the opportunities for sports and activities at all levels are endless.

Not so much known for its nightlife, this corner of Mallorca is very much a family-friendly destination, however many of the restaurants offer live music and party nights. The range of eateries is diverse, while all ages will be welcome in restaurants.

Cala d'Or – or the 'Golden Bay' – is a popular beach area on the southeast coast of Mallorca, south of Portocolom and neighbouring the coastal town of Portopetro. In Cala d'Or you really get an all-round holiday experience with wonderful beaches, interesting excursions, well-preserved nature and varied nightlife.

Cala d'Or is an excellent spot for a beach holiday thanks to its impressive facilities and wonderful beaches. Huge fun is the mini 'train' which runs along the roads for holidaymakers between the main resort and beaches. The town is also a great base for exploring some of the best natural and historical sights that southeast Mallorca has to offer.

Cala Mondrago is a natural family destination, with gentle bays ideal for hours of castle building and splashing in the safe, shallow waters, family-friendly restaurants and promenades. From pony rides to gentle treks, there is something for all ages in this part of Mallorca.

Hidropark is worth a day trip, for an array of “whizzy” rides offering adrenaline based fun or toddler appropriate splash pools, while Parc Natural de S’Albufera for gentle bike rides and birdwatching expeditions.

Teens will enjoy activities such as kite surfing and kayaking, to spooky caving! Cliff jumping, mountain biking, scuba diving - the options are endless.

Further east, there are bewitching chambers of vast caves, safari encounters,

Mallorcans adore children; from playgrounds to child-friendly restaurants, children will not only be welcome but will be actively fussed over! Many restaurants offer inexpensive children’s menus - simple grilled meats, fries, spaghetti, and tortillas, not to mention ice cream! While those with more adventurous tastes may enjoy the local pa ambient oli - bread rubbed with olive oil, tomatoes and a variety of toppings.

Other highlights would be, Artestruz - where children can admire ostriches, Palma Aquarium, some eight thousand marine creatures to observe and delight over, to the Safari-zoo in the east.

Cars with car seats are pure to hire, usually for a per day fee.

Children will soon acclimatise to the Spanish way of life, where youngsters are very much part of the evening life, out in restaurants of an evening, playing in parks and squares while grown-ups gather with a cooling beer.

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Security deposit €300 charged to client's credit card as a pre-authorisation at least 2 weeks prior to arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.
Arrival time 4.00 pm.
Departure time 10.00 am.
Energy costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Linen & towels included? Bed linen and bath towels are included in the rental price. Please bring your own pool towels.
End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Internet access? Wi-Fi internet access included in the rental price.
Minimum stay 7 nights. All other durations on request.
Changeover day Flexible.
Pets welcome? Not allowed.
Smoking Allowed? Smoking & Vaping are not permitted.
Tax Tourist Tax is included in the rental price.
Insurance Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, loss of personal belongings, personal liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay
