An exciting and stylish villa located in Cala d’Or, Villa Calabreses places guests into the heart of the action with this perfectly located property. This villa hosts a truly remarkable exterior, creating a set of incredible views as soon as you step foot on the grounds. The quirky cloud-shaped pool is surrounded by a collection of sun loungers, giving guests an ideal spot to sit back and truly relax. Next to the pool is the spacious outdoor terrace that is fitted with a broad dining area. Thus, this area is perfect for outdoor dining experiences and simply watching the sights go by. There is also a pool table and table tennis unit for guests to enjoy during their stay. Moreover, there is also an authentic brick-built barbecue within this area. As such, guests are free to cook a collection of fresh dishes whenever they please.
Villa Calabreses is spread out across two floors, helping to create an expansive atmosphere across this large property. The lower level contains the property’s four bedrooms. Three of these bedrooms include a pair of single beds, making them perfect for younger children to stay in. The fourth bedroom is the master bedroom which includes a spacious double bed and access to the expansive outdoor terrace area. All of the beds are equipped with a set of pristine linens, ensuring a tranquil night’s sleep for every guest. Moreover, these rooms also include large wardrobes, helping to create a more spacious environment to sleep in. There are also two bathrooms on this floor, which can be used by all of the guests.
Moving up to the upper level, this is where you will find the main living areas. The living room contains a set of sleek black sofas that offer incredible views of the Cala d’Or Marina that sits close by. This room also uses a large flatscreen TV, creating a suitable space for those much-loved family movie nights. The widespread dining room is a truly communal space, using a large dining table that also looks out upon the beautiful Marina. Additionally, the kitchen within Villa Calabreses is an incredible sight. Fitted with an assortment of wooden cupboards, this kitchen helps create a more traditional and homely atmosphere in this contemporary villa.

- The maximum depth of the pool is 1.90m and the pool is unfenced so children must be supervised at all times
- Please note, there is a small apartment on the top floor of this villa which is occasionally occupied by the owner, so whilst privacy is assured, there may be occasional noise

About the surrounding area of Villa CalabresesVilla Calabreses is just 0.5km away from the town centre of Cala d’Or, giving guests the chance to explore this vibrant area whenever they please. Cala d’Or is best known for its phenomenal nightlife district, compiling some of the best clubs and pubs into one unique place. Sky Bar is a bustling nightclub that is very popular during the peak seasons. It hosts a lively DJ until 4 am and is one of the most favoured clubs in the district. Furthermore, Budha Pub is also an energetic establishment, drawing both tourists and locals from across the island. This pub is open until 4:30 am and is much-loved by the younger generations due to its chart-topping setlist. In addition, Cala d’Or is also home to a selection of luxury shopping districts, with merchants selling an array of designer and artisan goods.
If you are looking for a more relaxing activity, why not try horse riding. There are many horse riding schools in Cala d’Or, including the well-acclaimed Hippica Formentor. This establishment is located just over an hour away from the centre of Cala d’Or and offers everything you would need to complete your first horse riding lesson. The Taster Ride is their novice course and lasts for one hour and costs €25. During this time, you will learn the basic principles of horse riding, which will help you to determine whether you are ready for a longer ride. This type of activity is unique and allows you to view Mallorca’s spectacular landscape from a new perspective.
The Cala d’Or Jazz Festival runs through the last week, posing as a real treat for any guests who are visiting during that time. This 6-day festival brings together some of the finest jazz musicians in the world and allows them to perform right in the heart of Cala d’Or. A majority of performances occur in the many pubs and clubs around the town. However, some acts perform on the Cala d’Or Marina, which is just a short walk away from Villa Calabreses. The festival begins at 8 pm every night and shows can be entered free of charge, making this a very affordable attraction.

THE REGION
Cala d'Or – or the 'Golden Bay' – is a popular beach area on the southeast coast of Mallorca, south of Portocolom and neighbouring the coastal town of Portopetro. In Cala d'Or you really get an all-round holiday experience with wonderful beaches, interesting excursions, well-preserved nature and varied nightlife.
Cala d'Or is an excellent spot for a beach holiday thanks to its impressive facilities and wonderful beaches. Huge fun is the mini 'train' which runs along the roads for holidaymakers between the main resort and beaches. The town is also a great base for exploring some of the best natural and historical sights that southeast Mallorca has to offer.

Best Suited For: All AgesCala d’Or has been praised by families for its wide range of activities for children. As such, this is a perfect holiday destination for children of all ages. Drach Caves is a much-loved attraction within Cala d’Or and is less than 30-minutes away from the town centre. These tremendous caves whisk guests into another world where they are truly immersed in the complex structures. There is also a guided boat tour that takes guests along the underground lake. Furthermore, guests can also witness a grand classical music concert deep inside the cave. This attraction is reasonably priced, with tickets costing €15 for adults and €8 for children.
Villa Calabreses is also just 0.5km from the amazing Cala d’Or beach. This remarkable beach pairs crisp white sands and crystal clear waters to create a truly awe-inspiring landmark. The collection of pine trees that encircle the beach also help to create a more picturesque scene for guests to enjoy.
As the waters are quite shallow, children are encouraged to go swimming and explore the beautiful creatures that surround them. Cala d’Or is packed full of amenities, including toilets, parasols, and sunbeds. As such, guests do not have to worry about a thing during their stay here. There is also an off-beat beach bar on-site that sells an array of refreshments and snacks.
Cala d’Or is teeming with intriguing historical landmarks; something children will definitely enjoy during their time on holiday. Es Forti is an acclaimed 18th-century military base that is located less than 10-minutes away from the centre of Cala d’Or. This extraordinary landmark was first constructed in 1730 but was completely destroyed by a tsunami in 1755. Yet, the base was completed reconstructed in 1793 and went on to become a Site of Cultural Interest in 1949. This base contains a phenomenal look-out point that provides expansive views of Cala d’Or and its surrounding areas. Therefore, guests can gaze out and take in the beautiful sights that lay before them. Es Forti is free to enter and hosts a wide range of events during the summer months.
