With direct access to the sea and four ensuite bedrooms, Villa Cala Dor is a unique seafront villa not to be missed, just 500 meters from Cala d’Or centre!
As you step inside this deluxe delight and admire its vibrant yet delicate interiors, you will be struck by this sublime level of attention to detail. Every inch is perfectly styled, with local art and traditional artefacts, carefully selected books and décor, and of course the most wonderful furniture.
Overall the villa exudes traditional and rustic charm, yet the style is anything but old-fashioned, with contemporary comforts and a modern array of sofas, tables and textures. The living and dining space is fabulously open-plan, while the kitchen is separate, featuring everything you could need to rustle up a light snack, a hearty feast, and everything in between!
There are four bedrooms in total, including one double and three twins, with the first two twins on this ground floor, and the remaining rooms upstairs. The styles of each room are as bright and elegant as the main villa, with the overarching lightness of white walls and light flooring, splashed with vibrant bedspreads and curtains. All four enjoy incredible ensuite shower facilities, including a bathtub in the master ensuite, which embodies the same themes and beautiful creativity!
Outside the furniture has been perfectly selected to blend superbly with the surrounding rural landscape. Wood dominates the materials, with natural coloured fabrics and stone across the entire garden. Step out onto your charming veranda where an alfresco dining area and an array of casual seating welcome you to kick-back and enjoy the sea-views!
A set of sofas is the perfect place to enjoy time together, shaded nicely with space for the whole group to gather. Your magnificent private pool stretches across the garden at 8 metres long – dive in for a perfect morning wake up. And what’s more – you’re just seconds from the water, so you can even have a swim in the sea to wake yourself up instead! Around the side of the villa, there’s even a charming lawn area for a more secluded spot amid the vibrant foliage!
What you should know…
- Please note that published rates are only valid for the current year. Any bookings for subsequent years will be on request only, and correct rates will be confirmed at the time of booking
- There are stairs throughout the villa, including across the ground floor, and a set of stone steps down to the sea
- Villa Cala Dor does not offer air conditioning, but with a huge private pool and the sea directly on your doorstep, you’ll have plenty of better ways to cool down!

Indeed, from the villa itself, you have direct access to the sea below! Yet, thanks to its tranquil location in a quiet cul-de-sac, you can enjoy a perfectly peaceful environment within the villa itself!
And perched atop one of the many rolling hills of the island, you’re spoilt for choice in active pursuits on land, as well as the majestic beaches on the doorstep! The island a hiker’s paradise and is world-renowned for its cycling – so whether you fancy renting a bike or taking a scenic stroll, you’ll have the perfect landscape at your fingertips!
The peace and calm of the property are incredible when you consider that it’s just within walking distance of all the shops, bars and restaurants you could need in the local town.
The nearby town of Cala d'Or is hugely family-friendly, with beaches, shops, restaurants and cafes aplenty. Catering for all ages, there really is something for everyone: from a variety of water sports on offer along the beaches and a golf course nearby, to marinas and National Parks and boat trips to the many incredible coves along the coastline.
Of course, no Spanish island would be complete without a fine array of wine and seafood on offer, and Mallorca is absolutely no different, with a thriving culinary scene.

THE REGION
Cala d'Or – or the 'Golden Bay' – is a popular beach area on the southeast coast of Mallorca, south of Portocolom and neighbouring the coastal town of Portopetro. In Cala d'Or you really get an all-round holiday experience with wonderful beaches, interesting excursions, well-preserved nature and varied nightlife.
Cala d'Or is an excellent spot for a beach holiday thanks to its impressive facilities and wonderful beaches. Huge fun is the mini 'train' which runs along the roads for holidaymakers between the main resort and beaches. The town is also a great base for exploring some of the best natural and historical sights that southeast Mallorca has to offer.

The region is excellent for all ages. Famous, of course, for its beaches, the island has so much more to offer than that! The vibrant and unspoilt natural landscape lends itself perfectly to all kinds of outdoor activities, from hiking to cycling to kayaking!
Just be sure to take a picnic, there are endless perfect spots to sit, relax, and take in the breath-taking views across the Balearic sea! As a world-famous cycling destination, there’s plenty of rental services so you should have no problems finding bikes!
Alternatively, for a more relaxing afternoon, retire to your wonderful private pool where the kids can enjoy some harmless fun, and you can keep an eye on them from the comfort of a sun lounger.
