A rustic and traditional country house located in Cala d’Or, Finca Lledons is a truly authentic property that is filled with unique design choices. The outside grounds of Finca Lledons are undoubtedly the most alluring feature of the property. The stunning swimming pool sits directly in the centre of the exterior and is surrounded by a collection of sun loungers. Therefore, this is an ideal place to relax and unwind during your time on holiday. The villa itself was first built in the 18th century and comprised a rustic house and an original flour windmill. Finca Lledons was declared a Property of Cultural Interest and attracted guests from far and wide. The exposed brickwork offers a true taste of traditional Spanish living, helping you to settle in straight away.
 
As you first enter this property, you will be greeted by the stunning lounge/dining area. The lounge area compiles a selection of eclectic decorations and places them within this bright and airy space. A broad sofa sits directly opposite a grand fireplace, creating the perfect scenery for quiet nights in with family and friends. The dining area also adheres to an unconventional theme. Using a long dining table and a set of off-beat chairs, this space is able to create a unique and collective area for the whole family to enjoy. The kitchen within this property uses an array of bohemian style choices to ensure that you can create spectacular meals in a remarkable location. In addition, the kitchen leads out to a covered patio area that is perfect for outdoor dining experiences.
 
The two bedrooms within this property are located within the awe-inspiring tower. The first bedroom makes use of a double bed and an assortment of charming decor items. Thus, guests are sure to get a peaceful night’s sleep when staying in this room. The second bedroom also uses a spacious double bed as well as a fashionable wardrobe and bedside table. Both of these rooms have access to a fully-fitted bathroom. This space includes an emerald-tiled bath and a pristine glass-topped sink.

Although Finca Lledons is found in a quiet area within Santanyi, it is only 30-minutes away from the bustling region of Cala d’Or. Here, you will find a wealth of exciting things to do, helping you remain engaged and well during your stay. The wine industry is extremely prevalent in Cala d’Or and across the whole of Mallorca. Son Alegre is located just 6-minutes away from the town centre of Cala d’Or and offers a glimpse into the fascinating world of winemaking. This winery was first founded in 2004 and used a diverse collection of solar-powered initiatives to fuel its operations. Therefore, Son Alegre is able to create a more sustainable wine industry overall. Guests are encouraged to take a guided tour of their wine cellar and surrounding grounds to see how this intuitive business produces a selection of incredible wines. Tours cost just €25 per person and include a tasting platter of multiple wines and oils.
 
Cala d’Or is also well-renowned for its pristine golf courses, particularly the Vall d’Or Golf Club. This establishment was first set up in 1986 and has since become one the most popular courses in Mallorca. Furthermore, this particular golf course is appropriate for both novices and beginners as it is both raised and flat in multiple areas. Vall d’Or Golf Club is also constantly expanding its ingenious buggy network, helping guests to travel around the course with ease. Vall d’Or Golf Club is less than 10-minutes away from the centre of Cala d’Or and costs just €112 to play on an 18 hole course.
 
If you are looking to explore the wide variety of historical landmarks within Cala d’Or, Es Forti is an ideal place to visit. This archaic military base was first constructed in 1730 and was completely destroyed by a terrifying tsunami in 1755. However, the base was completely restored in 1793 and has attracted curious visitors ever since. Plus, the building was declared a Site of Cultural Interest in 1949. Es Forti is just 8-minutes away from Cala d’Or and can be entered free of charge. Not to mention, in the summer months, this site hosts a collection of inviting festivals and events.

THE REGION

Cala d'Or – or the 'Golden Bay' – is a popular beach area on the southeast coast of Mallorca, south of Portocolom and neighbouring the coastal town of Portopetro. In Cala d'Or you really get an all-round holiday experience with wonderful beaches, interesting excursions, well-preserved nature and varied nightlife.

Cala d'Or is an excellent spot for a beach holiday thanks to its impressive facilities and wonderful beaches. Huge fun is the mini 'train' which runs along the roads for holidaymakers between the main resort and beaches. The town is also a great base for exploring some of the best natural and historical sights that southeast Mallorca has to offer.

As this property is located so close to Cala d’Or, it is within close distance of a collection of family-friendly attractions. For example, the epic Drach Caves are less than 30-minutes away from the centre of Cala d’Or. The Drach Caves are a remarkable natural landmark filled with an array of interesting structures. The guided boat tour takes guests along the magnificent underground lake and allows them to hear the wonderful classical music concert that is performed at certain points in the day. Tickets for the Drach Caves are fairly reasonable, costing €15 for adults and €8 for children.
 
The Santanyi Street Market can be found just 3km away from Finca Lledons, making it easy to access from the villa. This market is a true cultural gem and encapsulates the joys of traditional Spanish living. Older children will love exploring the market and seeing what the wide range of stalls have on offer. This market is located in the Plaza Mayor and hosts over 150 stalls featuring clothes, food, craftwork, and more. Thus, children can bring home a few souvenirs to remind them of the fond memories they made on holiday. The Santanyi Street Market is held every Sunday between May and October, creating a lengthy attraction that guests can visit during their stay.
 
This villa is also very close to the magnificent Cala Llombards Beach, which is just 8km away. This beach is 55m long and 150m wide, giving guests enough space to explore the landscape in great detail. The bright white sands and clear waters make this beach a very popular attraction with previous guests. Moreover, these crystal clear waters are perfect for snorkelling, giving children the opportunity to try something new during their stay. These waters are also quite shallow and are safe for children to swim in. Furthermore, Cala Llombards beach is home to a quirky tropical-themed beach bar. This bar sells an assortment of food and drinks, ensuring that you will not go hungry during your time at the beach.

Security deposit €300 charged to client's credit card as a pre-authorisation at least 2 weeks prior to arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.

End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
