This beautiful whitewashed villa is 15 minutes away from Cala d’Or and is surrounded by beautiful natural greenery and its own lawn. It benefits from beautiful trees offering shade in addition to some covered terraces that mean you can spend time outside while still having sun protection. When you come up to the property you have a simple entrance way that lead into a bright entrance hall thanks to the stunning natural light that is let into the property.

There is an open plan living and dining area that’s bright and comfortable. There are two sofas in the room gathered around a coffee table and in front of some large and bright windows, which will be a great location for you to gather as a group and enjoy the television which has access to English channels in addition to the DVD player, perfect for keeping yourselves or any kids occupied inside the villa.

Additionally, the villa has wi-fi access so you can attach your own devices to the internet and access to some home comforts that you may be missing. The dining area has a beautiful modern dining table that sits in front of beautiful windows that let in plenty of natural light. The living area also has direct access to a large covered terrace and the poolside.

The kitchen is bright and fully equipped with the necessary appliances for any meals that you made decision to make in the villa. It also has access to the exterior. If you enjoy BBQ food, then you’re in luck as there is a brick-built BBQ on the property along with plenty of outdoor seating opportunities for the holiday guest list.

This floor also has two twin bedrooms, each with access out onto the poolside terrace. They both use bright colours as they compliment the naturally bright room. The rooms both have built-in storage for you to keep your belongings, and the doors that lead to the terrace do have curtains for privacy.

There are two bathrooms on the ground floor that this two share; a regular bathroom with a bath and then a shower room with two single showers. In addition to these two rooms, there is also a third bedroom on this floor which has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath included. There is another bedroom on the first floor, including a double bed and an en-suite with a bath.

This room can access a roof terrace, which means it can be accessed from the garden using the exterior staircase to reach the roof of the terrace. And finally, there is a final bedroom outside in the annexe; a twin room with an en-suite shower room. The annexe has a covered terrace and there is additional outdoor seating here for you.

The exterior lawn is lined with tall palm trees and pine trees which provides additional shade for you to relax in, in addition to the ample outdoor seating available. There is also a large private swimming pool with roman steps for you and your guests, which can have fencing on request for added safety if you have young kids with you. You’ll also find reclining sun loungers for your use, giving you the perfect chance to develop that holiday tan! There is also a poolside shower available.

What you should know…

  • The villa has air conditioning available (cold & warm) in all of the bedrooms and the living/ dining area – it’s on a timetable 14:00 – 16:00 and 21:00 – 8:00
  • The interiors are fairly simple however Casa Archiduque is all about the location - just a 10/15 minute walk from Cala D'Or centre!
  • The first cot and high chair are included in the price of renting the villa, but additional cots and highchairs will be 5 euros extra per night, each. So, enquire about these when you’re booking

Casa Archiduque is close to two sandy beaches, Casa Esmeralda and Cala Gran offering you a great place to take the family for a day at the beach. You’re also 15 minutes away from Cala d d’Or which is family friendly with ample shops, restaurants and cafés for you to explore and sample.

Cala d'Or – or the 'Golden Bay' – is a popular beach area on the southeast coast of Mallorca, south of Portocolom and neighbouring the coastal town of Portopetro. In Cala d'Or you really get an all-round holiday experience with wonderful beaches, interesting excursions, well-preserved nature and varied nightlife.

Cala d'Or is an excellent spot for a beach holiday thanks to its impressive facilities and wonderful beaches. Huge fun is the mini 'train' which runs along the roads for holidaymakers between the main resort and beaches. The town is also a great base for exploring some of the best natural and historical sights that southeast Mallorca has to offer.

If you or they find that you’re missing the internet, then there is wi-fi access at the villa so you can attach your own devices and enjoy those home comforts.

The villa is close to two sandy beaches, which are perfect for family days out without having to travel too far for them. Majorca offers plenty of activities for families, in addition to there being plenty of places to eat! You’ll find something for everyone here.
