Over familiar, it may be but the phrase ‘location, location, location’ remains an import factor when searching for a holiday rental. Villa Calm Andratx sleeps 12 and easily ranks with the best available in the south-west of Mallorca. Tucked into a quiet residential road just a stone’s throw (200 m) from the exclusive marina of Port d’Andratx, where you will find an exclusive popular marina and a variety of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built to a high standard with a boundless cross-generation appeal as well as that much sought-after convenience of not needing to rely on a car. Modern and stylishly decorated the property interior is bright, elegant and appealing with muted shades and a subtle, neutral colour scheme. High wooden beamed ceiling, large colourful paintings and artefacts generate an air of grandeur combined with the contemporary and rustic charm of this spacious villa. Facilities also include parking for three cars, air conditioning throughout, large roof terrace and alarm with security cameras.

The property is distributed over three floors and is a labyrinth of space and cosy nooks boasting 3 x living areas with ample comfortable sofas and TV, a dining table that seats ten which is perfect for inside dining, 2 x fully equipped modern kitchens, one open plan with breakfast bar connecting the dining and a lounge area.

Patio doors lead out to the comfortably furnished terrace with ample space for al fresco dining. With six bedrooms, 4 with ensuite and two bedrooms sharing the other two bathrooms and a stunning furnished roof terrace with spectacular views. One bedroom has bunk beds, and all bedrooms are air-conditioned, have fitted wardrobes and are bright and airy.

Down a few steps from the terrace, you will find the unique shaped swimming pool with Roman steps for easy access. The comfortable chill out sun loungers surround the pool, and the real grass walled garden adds to the privacy of the property. From the shady terrace, you will find the barbecue, which is convenient to keep the group together while trying out the local culinary cuisine. Alternatively, you can hire a private chef to visit the villa and cook for you while you sit back and simply enjoy this gentle pace of life.

For a more upbeat pace from this laidback way of living, the city of Palma is only a short drive away with its wide choice of bars, restaurants, markets and
shops. Families in particular return year after year due to it’s close proximity to the marina offers something to suit virtually all tastes and budgets.

Port Andratx (200 metres away) – Port d’Andratx enjoys a picturesque setting located around 5km from Andratx town. Many consider it the loveliest harbour in the Mediterranean – it’s a stylish port, with a well-maintained and equipped yacht club offering more than 450 berths. This place is not only a working fishing port, but it is also a playground for the rich and famous who want to stay under the radar.

Although it has many restaurants to suit the yachting set, Port d’Andratx is still a working fishing port where you can sit outside one of the many cafés and bars watching the bustle of daily maritime life. The two beaches here are very small, but there are larger beaches very nearby plus excursions, luxury spas and golf.

Cala Llamp (2.3 km away) - Tucked around the corner from Port d'Andratx, Cala Llamp Bay has one of the most stunning views in Mallorca. The Tramuntana mountains create high cliffs all around, forming a crescent bay with calm, beautifully clear water. It's probably better suited to those not so interested in sunbathing but in swimming in the lovely waters and exploring the rock pools, which many families enjoy.

Palma City (31 km away) - Palma is Mallorca's vibrant capital, stylish and intimate, yet bursting with life. Half of the island's population dwells in this city, lively all year round with luxury hotels, trendy restaurants, cafes, shops and nightlife as well as a thriving art scene. It's often compared to Barcelona and, being within a 15-minute taxi ride from the airport; it makes for the perfect city break.

Villa Calm Andratx is a welcoming family retreat, and it has some indoor and outdoor space ready for any kids to enjoy. The garden is small with real lawn and walled garden. Kids can run around and enjoy games and picnics in this
space, as well as making the most of the sun. Additionally, there is a private swimming pool with a shallow end that is the perfect addition to this villa.

Located close to the villa so convenient for parents to keep an eye on the children while relaxing. If the weather isn’t optimal, then you have the added feature of satellite TV and the wi-fi being available for you to use. This can offer the kids some entertainment if needed on those bad weather days. The villa is fully air-conditioned throughout so kids can keep cool inside during the midday sun.

Sant Elm (10 km away) From nearby Sant Elm, you can take a family boat trip in the summer over to the uninhabited island of Sa Dragonera, named for its dragon-like shape. It’s a nature reserve, with some interesting walks, perfect for a family trip. Take your binoculars for good views of seabirds such as ospreys and gulls. You could also go scuba diving.

Palma Aquarium (43.8 km away) - Uncover the many secrets hidden in the seas and oceans. Set sail on an adventure, you will never forget across the Mediterranean to the tropical seas. Explore the Jungle and enjoy the sunshine in our gardens while the children play on the pirate's ship or cool off in the water fountain. Marvel at the immensity of the Big Blue, the deepest shark tank in Europe. This is a perfect place to visit for all the family.

Palma to Soller wooden train ( Plaza De Espana 37.1 km away – Soller 53.9 km away ) - Perfect for all the family, the Sóller railway also stands out for the special, attractive route it runs along, overcoming the natural barrier of the Sierra de Alfàbia mountain range which is 2.8 km wide and 496 metres high. This should definitely be on your list of favourite things to do in Mallorca. The Palma to Soller wooden train has got to be one of the prettiest and most memorable small train trips you can take, and children absolutely love it.

Jungle Parc (17.8 km away) in Santa Ponca - Situated in a forest of 9 hectares in Santa Ponsa, come and enjoy different circuits with a total of 100 platforms. You will be required to move from tree to tree, at varying heights from the ground, using bridges, ropes, vines and lots of zip wires! Our PIRATES circuit is for children of 4 years and above. And there are two circuits for adults, EXPLORER and EXTREME. The EXTREME circuit is recommended for the more experienced or adventurous! Jungle Parc becomes the ideal option for individuals, families, groups of friends, company outings, schools.

End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
