Nestled in a tranquil location, high in the hills of eastern Ibiza, Villa Riu is the ideal home for a group looking to relax in the famous Balearic sun in a totally private environment.
The open-plan, incredibly spacious living area is simply stunning, with plush sofas and chairs set among elegant chandeliers, charming traditional ceiling beams and carefully selected artwork adorning the walls. The kitchen reinforces this slightly rustic style, with wooden textured panelling set against a contemporary design and all the latest mod cons, including a coffee machine, juicer and a huge American style fridge/freezer. There is a large dining table alongside the kitchen, should you choose to dine indoors. There is also a laundry room and a separate bathroom.
On this ground floor there are three of the six double bedrooms, each one with ensuite facilities and magnificent furnishing. Two more double bedrooms are on the first-floor, both with private ensuite facilities with bath tubs, and both enjoy a private terrace! An annexe in the garden contains the final double bedroom and private bathroom facilities, offering two guests a little extra privacy! All six deluxe bedrooms are utterly sublime, with only the finest quality furniture and truly breath-taking views from the vast floor-to-ceiling windows! The ensuite bathrooms are spacious, some with beautiful double vanity sinks and all with either an elegant bathtub or walk in shower. Much like the bedrooms, the bathrooms enjoy a warm design, with traditional tiles and patterns.
With 40,000 m2 of private land, the large garden encircles the house, providing a calm space in which to relax and unwind after a long day (or night!) enjoying the island. The vast private, heated pool enjoys plenty of sun throughout the day, with parasols available to offer a little shade when needed. With huge amounts of space and a BBQ area, this is the perfect spot to gather the group together for some quality time relaxing in the sun. The cosy sofa-pods around the pool provide the ideal spot for a sun-kissed morning coffee, or a glass of wine under the stars! There is also a large outdoor dining table perfect for delightful alfresco meals.
You’re just a 5-minute drive from Santa Eulalia, where you can find a wide range of restaurants, bars and markets, while the vibrant city of Ibiza is just a twenty-minute drive away!
What you should know…
- We recommend hiring a car throughout your stay to get around the island a little more easily – there’s tons of rental agencies at the airport where you can arrange this!
- The bedrooms are arranged over multiple levels and an annex which may not suite those travelling with particularly young children

And for those not looking to party every night, Ibiza is ideal for a romantic weekend and even an active family holiday – with amazing cycling, kayaking, hiking, and many more activities on offer! These are particularly good during the winter when the island calms down a little but retains its fabulous weather.
Of course, no Spanish island would be complete without a fine array of wine and seafood on offer, and Ibiza is no different, with a thriving culinary scene.

THE REGION
Santa Eulalia, Ibiza's third largest resort, is only 21 km from the airport and is a beloved destination for families and those seeking a quieter holiday. There is a beautiful, palm-lined promenade running the length of the broad and sandy beach, and the choice of hotels and apartments in and around the town itself is excellent.
Stroll along the famous promenade, where interestingly much of the beach is man-made, for some people watching and bar-hopping, then cruise down to the flashy marina to check out the luxury yachts moored in the port. Visit the mini-markets in the main square or head further around the coast to the hippy markets at Es Canar. Golf enthusiasts will be happy to know Ibiza's one and only golf course is in the region too.

For a relaxing afternoon, retire to the wonderful private pool where the kids can enjoy some harmless fun and you can keep an eye on them from the comfort of a sun lounger.
In the surrounding landscape you will find endless opportunities for an active day out with all the family: cycle through an array of postcard-picture villages and along the rugged coast – there’s plenty of rental services so you should have no problems finding bikes! Alternatively, enjoy a range of water-sports along the sublime coastline or even experience the fantastic scenery on a hike – be sure to take a picnic, there are endless perfect spots to sit, relax, and take in the breath-taking views across the Balearic sea!

Beautiful villa
We had a wonderful week staying in this stunning property wich is located in a beatiful hill. Is situated in a quiet rural area, very peaceful. The garden is well kept and the pool as well is perfect with a clear blue water. If you stay here will have a great holiday! I can't wait to go back.
