Es Novells is a traditional-style, single-storey villa accommodating up to six guests, close to Santa Eulalia, Ibiza’s third-largest resort. Surrounded by beautiful hiking trails and enjoying beautiful hillside views, this idyllic property is the ideal choice for anyone who wants to enjoy a private and quiet retreat on the popular party island. Es Novells is light and elegant throughout, with a neutral decor that incorporates fresh creams and dazzling whites, with terracotta tiled floors and rich wooden accents and decorative features.

The open-plan living space features a cosy lounge area complete with sprays of exposed stonework and a decorative fireplace, plump cream sofas and a flatscreen TV - a lovely space for snuggling up with loved ones at the end of a busy day. A circular wooden dining table accommodating up to six guests takes pride of place in the spacious dining area, complemented by gorgeous beamed ceilings and an antique-style dresser, and the galley kitchen, with its rustic country farmhouse aesthetic, is perfect for rustling up delicious family feasts during your stay. You’ll find everything you need to cater to you and your guests during your stay, including an oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and dishwasher, and a range of crockery, cookware and utensils.

The villa’s bedrooms enjoy the same neutral decor, with soft, comfortable beds and beautifully crafted furnishings. The double bedroom benefits from an ensuite bathroom with shower facilities, and there are two equally charming twin rooms with well-spaced beds which share a second bathroom, also with shower facilities.

The outdoor spaces here at Es Novells are enclosed and private, offering guests peaceful areas to relax and soak up the glorious atmosphere. There’s a covered dining and barbecue area, fully furnished for alfresco dining, and an open-air lounge area complete with high-quality seating - a great space for retiring to after enjoying a hearty meal to partake in after-dinner drinks and conversation. The well-manicured lawn area, furnished with loungers, is perfect for an afternoon of relaxing in the sun before heading for a cooling swim in the villa’s private pool, which is easily accessible via steps, making it easy for guests of all ages to enjoy.

Es Novells is close to Santa Eulalia, a popular holiday destination for those looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday on this notorious party island. The town has a long-established reputation as Ibiza’s gastronomic and cultural centre, and its palm-lined promenade and sandy beaches attract visitors from far and wide. Here you will find beautiful art galleries, an exclusive yachting marina and plenty of shopping opportunities, all enjoyed by those who like to take life at a slow and relaxing pace.

The promenade spans the length of the wide (smoke-free!) beach and is adorned with miniature gardens and a large fountain. From the bay, you can take a river walk along the only river in the Balearics to run into the sea, meandering up to a beautiful 18th-century stone bridge and along a pretty paved walkway to the beach of Calo de S’Alga. Santa Eulalia has a warm and vibrant atmosphere, lined with cafes and restaurants ranging from ‘cheap and cheerful’ to exclusive fine-dining establishments. Much of the main street is closed to traffic in the early evening, giving way to a picture-perfect Mediterranean scene with outdoor dining, lights, music and musicians.

The town centre is also home to a selection of fashion boutiques - with prices much lower than in Ibiza Town - as well as some of the island’s famous hippie markets, where vendors come to sell their colourful arts and crafts, including paintings, sculptures and decorative items. The nightlife here is much quieter and laid back than resorts such as San Antonio or Playa d’en Bossa, with visitors opting to enjoy a nice meal before strolling along the promenade or perhaps popping into one of the town’s bars - some of which offer live music and are open until late.

THE REGION

Santa Eulalia, Ibiza's third largest resort, is only 21 km from the airport and is a beloved destination for families and those seeking a quieter holiday. There is a beautiful, palm-lined promenade running the length of the broad and sandy beach, and the choice of hotels and apartments in and around the town itself is excellent.

Stroll along the famous promenade, where interestingly much of the beach is man-made, for some people watching and bar-hopping, then cruise down to the flashy marina to check out the luxury yachts moored in the port. Visit the mini-markets in the main square or head further around the coast to the hippy markets at Es Canar. Golf enthusiasts will be happy to know Ibiza's one and only golf course is in the region too.

Es Novells, with its single-storey layout and quiet, rural location, is a great choice of accommodation for those travelling with kids. There are two twin bedrooms that are perfect for older children, and a cot (and highchair) are available on request if you have very little ones with you. Familiar home comforts that the kids will be happy to see include TV and WiFi - ideal for keeping them entertained during those moments when the adults are preparing food or planning the day ahead.

The outdoor spaces at Es Novells are well-suited to families, with a covered dining space, soft lawn area and, of course - the private pool. The pool is easy to access for children of all ages, but parents should note that it is unfenced and that the walkway around the water is narrow on one side, so caution is advised.

The villa is located close to the popular resort of Santa Eulalia, which enjoys a quiet, family-friendly vibe and beautiful beaches with calm, safe waters. There are lots of simple walking and cycling routes in the area that are suitable for all ages, as well as wholesome and fun activities that everyone will enjoy, including visiting one of the region’s organic farms where the kids can enjoy tractor and trailer rides, taking a boat trip, horse-riding and go-karting.

The little ones can enjoy elf-spotting in the town, as these little bronze creatures, a symbol of Santa Eulalia, can be found hiding all over, including bathing in the fountains, hiding in corners, or even relaxing on the benches in the town centre - can you spot them all!

The main beach of Santa Eulalia is the ideal place for a family day out, with fine, white sand, clear, shallow waters and great amenities. The first non-smoking beach in the Balearics, this gorgeous stretch of sand has it all; loungers and parasols, showers and toilets, lifeguards, restaurants, bars and shops - even free WiFi! The beach is also home to both a diving school and a windsurfing school, so you’re sure to find something fun for the whole family to do. Snorkelling and jet-skiing are also popular pastimes here, and there are lots of boat trips available from the nearby marina for the best way to explore more of the beautiful coastline as a family.
