With idyllic views to the stunning salt flats of Las Salinas from its hillside position and a short hop to the buzzy Ibiza Town, Villa Delicias offers fabulous, luxury accommodation for 12 guests. The villa is equally close to Cala Jondal’s swanky VIP beach clubs, Tropicana, Yemanja and Blue Marlin, popular with the rich and famous.
Villa Delicias is built around an attractive courtyard with lows walls of sunny, honey-coloured natural stone and warm terracotta render. Sensational terrace spaces seem to merge with the stunning, flower and foliage filled lush gardens. You can relax on interesting furnishings amongst the majestic palms, fruit trees, the villa’s ancient olive tree and colourful, fragrant flowers. You will lose yourself in the beauty of these captivating gardens. At the far end of the wide lawn, the astonishing 12m x 6m infinity pool awaits, surrounded by basket type loungers. A shallow slope into the pool is perfect for young and old. From the pool area you can enjoy some of the villa’s best views towards the twinkling turquoise waters of the Balearic Sea. The palm-fringed terrace next to the main house offers astounding views to the gorgeous Las Salinas. Rustic alfresco dining is perfect in this magical setting together with an outdoor lounge area under the stars.
The indoor sunken lounge seating creates a cosy, comfortable space beside the fireplace and with doors opening fully along the terrace wall, the outside illuminates the space and makes it all one. The smart and trendy, fully fitted kitchen adjacent offers everything you would wish for. The breakfast bar and table provide additional dining options.
Villa Delicias’ six ensuite bedrooms are split between the main house, the courtyard and the garden rooms. The master suite is on the upper floor of the main house and boasts a kingsize bed, walk-in wardrobes, a couples bath in the ensuite bathroom and a magnificent private terrace. The second suite in the main house glories in stunning sea views and offers a super kingsize bed, floor to ceiling windows and another fabulous ensuite bathroom. Bedrooms 3 and 4 are gorgeous courtyard suites with super king beds and ensuite shower rooms. Bedrooms 5 and 6 are lovely garden suites, one with a super king bed and the other with twins. Both have shower rooms and all bedrooms have ipod docking stations for your enjoyment.
Villa Delicias offer a myriad of glorious and stylish inside and outside spaces to relax and enjoy. It is an ideal holiday home for families or groups who value privacy and seclusion without being too far away from beaches and buzzy nightlife.
What you should know…
- The bedroom suites are spread out, two in the main villa, two are garden suites and two are courtyard suites. Guests need to consider this if they are traveling with young children
- Don’t forget to try Ibiza’s herbal liquer, Hierbas. It is usually taken as a digestif after lunch or after dinner
- The Parc Natural de Ses Salines is absolutely stunning. It really is a must visit!

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa DeliciasVilla Delicias is ideally located in its quiet hillside position within very easy reach of the southern beaches of Ibiza and the buzzy capital town itself. You really enjoy the best of all world’s at this villa.
Ibiza’s Old Town and the trendy new marina are swarming with tourists visiting the swanky bars and world-class restaurants. Ibiza Town is romantic, historic, intriguing, vibrant and cosmopolitan. It has it all! Most famous of the clubs is Pacha where clubbers flock to listen to the famous DJ sets and dance the night away. The ancient walled fortress of Dalt Vila is a warren of narrow, cobbled streets brimming with cathedrals, chapels, churches, museums and flower adorned balconies. Plaza del Parque is a pretty social square. The marina area is wonderful for cocktails, dinner and shopping.
Playa d’en Bossa has the longest beach on the island. It is a paradise for the young crowd with low-tempo music flowing from beachfront DJ’s. There are watersports galore and a range of restaurants. After dark, it is party central with two of Ibiza’s largest clubs, Ushuaia and Space. Other popular nightclubs on Ibiza are Amnesia, Hi Ibiza, Privilege, Eden and Ibiza Rocks Hotel, the home of the pool party. There are also many boat parties from Playa d’en Bossa.
Within easy reach of the villa, Cala Jondal Beach is beautiful and trendy, a very ‘go-to’ place, popular with the yacht set and the rich and famous. The beach clubs and fashionable restaurants on Cala Jondal even offer pick-ups from the luxury yachts. Blue Marlin has become the definition of how to live it up Ibiza-VIP style. The champagne is flowing, fusions of Mediterranean and the Orient are in abundance and there are regular techno DJ spots.
Parc Natural de Ses Salines boasts 210 species of birds, sparkling salt pans and breathtaking sandy beaches including Illestes and Llevant. It feels as though you are in the Caribbean on the salt-white sand with a cocktail in hand. The sunsets are mesmerizing, as are the flocks of migrating hot-pink flamingoes that visit the park around August.

THE REGION
A true island jewel, San José exemplifies the traditional heart of Ibiza. Loved by tourists and locals alike, San José offers a wonderful insight into life in a traditional Ibizan village. Nestled in the lush foothills of Sa Talaia, the highest mountain on the island, San José boasts a wealth of charming restaurants, bars and cafés, beautiful boutiques and local crafts at the traditional market.
There is a surprisingly wide choice of restaurants and bars in this small village, from exclusive restaurants to pizza places, traditional bars and spots where you can enjoy great cocktails and even live music.
San José has several nice small shops and boutiques. Here you can find some lovely souvenirs, including pretty traditional ceramics. There are also colourful Ibizan fashion items, trendy children's toys and many other lovely things you didn't even know you needed.
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesAlthough Ibiza is known as a party island, there is plenty going on for families and children. The beaches are glorious and there is a lot of entertainment.
Aquarium Cap Blanc is a fascinating recuperation centre for sea turtles as well as an interesting aquarium in a sea cave. Local fishermen used to set their lobster traps in the cave but now five openings in the rocks allow seawater to flow freely in and out of the cave. Visitors walk along the wooden bridges and see octopus, grouper, rays, morays and conger.
If you enjoy horses and riding then Ibiza Horse Valley in the north of the island is a great excursion. It offers half or full day excursions treking the forests, mountains and the beaches. Horse Valley caters for all levels from beginners upwards though children must be over 12 years old. If you have younger children you can contact Active Ibiza for horse rides.
The Can Marca Caves are a series of eerie caverns full of stalagtites and stalactites together with multi-coloured lights that light the path. At the end of the tour you will enjoy a spectacular music and light show with a 30ft water cascade. It is so memorable!
For a thrilling half-day excursion, you could visit the excellent Acrobosc Adventure Park at S’Argamassa, between Santa Eulalia and Es Canar. There are three circuits offering challenging obstacle courses including ziplines, trampolines, slides, nets, ladders, climbing walls, tightropes and rope bridges. Children who are 3 years old and over can take part.
There are many beaches to choose from on the island. The southern beaches are very popular. Some are very organised with children’s activities, watersports and playgrounds. A few of the beach clubs even have children’s clubs with craft activities. Some of the most popular beaches are Cala Bassa, Es Cana, Cala Vadella, Cala Llonga, the Portinatx Beaches and Cala Tarida.
Another good family trip is a visit to one of the colourful Hippy Markets. Local artisans sell handmade and second hand items plus there are food stalls, entertainment and lots of opportunity to learn about the authentic Ibiza culture. Punta Arabi is the oldest and biggest Hippy Market on the island with over 500 artisans, designers and craftsmen. Young children can make flower crowns, create their own t-shirts and get their face painted.
