Sa Casilla enjoys a fabulous location from where you can easily enjoy the gorgeous south coast beaches of Ibiza, Cala Jondal, Sa Caleta, Salinas and Es Cavallet and also the vibrant capital Ibiza Town. With the main house offering four bedrooms plus two independent suites, this wonderful countryside villa sleeps up to twelve guests in luxurious comfort. Sa Casilla sits in total seclusion on an estate measuring 20,000 square metres, so you will be able to relax in style, feeling total away from the stresses of everyday life. This spectacular home has been completely renovated to offer modern comforts whilst maintaining the character and essence of the Ibiza style. Its swimming pool is enormous at 18m x 6m, one of the largest on the island. You will awake to the sound of bird song, such bliss!

Sa Casilla is located on the road from Ibiza Town to San Jose, just ten minutes from the south coast beaches. The spectacular Cala Jondal Beach is home to the famous Blue Marlin Beach Club. Playa den Bossa, just south of Ibiza Town, is home to some of Ibiza’s trendiest clubs and hotels. Ibiza Town offers a wide mix of entertainment and interest. Its historic Dalt Vila ancient walled Old Town is a treasure trove of narrow, cobbled streets sprinkled with cathedrals, chapels, churches, museums, and jasmine-adorned balconies. The old port area boasts charming cobbled streets and whitewashed buildings. Its trendy, upmarket Marina Botafoch is a buzzing hub brimming with chic bars, glamorous restaurants and boutique shopping. Ibiza Town’s nightlife is legendary. The villa is also close to San Jose, otherwise known in Catalan as San Josep de sa Talaia, with its name coming from the island’s highest mountain. The beautiful Parc Natural de Ses Salines is also within easy reach, offering glorious sunsets and wild nature. You really do enjoy the best of both worlds staying at Sa Casilla.

Sa Casilla is built with dazzling white render and gorgeous honey-coloured stone. It offers a warm welcome and a beautifully designed interior. The living area enjoys two full walls of glass, bringing the lush greenery of the gardens inside and keeping it bright. Comfy sofas and cool accent chairs sit looking out to the captivating gardens and beside a huge television which sits on a wonderful, ornate table. There is a feature fireplace adding yet more charm. The dining room is another gorgeous area where the rich dark wood of the handmade table, shutters, and floor looks incredible against its brilliant white walls. Trendy white chairs and a lovely rug complete the picture. The chefs in your group will be impressed with the charming kitchen, a mix of louvred cabinetry, excellent appliances, a stainless steel island, some ancient nods to the past and a very thick wooden breakfast bar where guests can keep the chefs' company.

With high-quality beds dressed in crisp, luxurious cotton, the main house is home to four spacious bedroom suites. Three of the bedrooms enjoy sumptuous double beds, and the last offers twins, which sit next to each other. You will enjoy the sleep of kings, closing the shutters and enjoying your luxury mattresses. The blend of dark, hardwood floors and dazzling white walls is wonderful, and some vivid contemporary art is thrown in for good measure. There are four bathrooms, two with baths and two with showers plus a guest bathroom.

The remaining two bedrooms are located in a small bungalow separate from the main villa. This is home to two suites which each enjoy a bedroom, bathroom and living space with a kitchen. This is a perfect set-up if you have brought the grandparents along or anyone else that might enjoy a little private time. They, too, are beautifully presented within this gorgeous stone building. Outside the suites is a furnished private terrace which leads to the extensive gardens and pool area.

Outside the main villa, you will discover two porches where you can relax in the shade. The outdoor furnishings here are lovely, a delightful mix of vintage furnishings, rattan numbers and a large wing-backed chair. Climbers add to the charm, reaching high to the beams. The gardens are amazing, full of lush lawns, towering trees and palms and well-maintained borders. The giant pool is a focal point, surrounded by loungers, parasols and trees offering some shade. There is a great entertaining space at one end of the pool for alfresco dining and outdoor cooking with a barbecue. There are also plenty of other tables and chairs sprinkled around the lawns, all perfect spots for drinks, snacks or family games.

Sa Casilla enjoys a delightful, peaceful spot on a huge countryside estate on the road from Ibiza Town to San Jose. It is a brilliant rural location that is only ten minutes from the south coast beaches and the buzzy capital. The island’s mountainous interior should not be missed.

Ibiza Town’s nightlife is legendary; the town is home to the world-famous Pacha nightclub. Its stunning Marina Botafoch boasts numerous swanky restaurants and bars, as well as fabulous boutique shopping. Ibiza Town attracts a very international crowd and is a great place for celebrity spotting in the summer. There are also some wonderful art galleries and museums. The ancient citadel of Dalt Vila is a history lesson in itself and boasts cathedrals, cobbled streets, chapels, churches, museums, and flower-adorned balconies. You will still see some traces of the Moors and museum displays from various periods in the island’s history, including Phoenician, Carthaginian and Roman. Around the old port area, you will find cobbled lanes and pretty whitewashed houses. The area comes alive for the nightly hippy market, where you can buy some souvenirs. The New Town of the city offers graceful plazas, including the boulevard of Vara de Rey and the Plaza del Parque. Ibiza Town is a shopper’s paradise. You will find large chain shops and boutiques on and in between the boulevard of Avenida Bartolome Rosello and Vara de Rey, around the old port area and around the stylish and trendy marina. Small water taxis can take you from the port to the sandy beaches of Talamanca, Santa Eulalia and the hippy market at Es Cana. The fantastic Playa den Bossa, the longest beach on the island, is home to the Ushuaia Ibiza Beach Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, Hi Ibiza, which is the club that used to be called Space, DC10 and the famous Bora Bora Beach Club.

San Jose is a beautiful village in the foothills of Sa Talaia, the highest mountain on the island. It is home to excellent restaurants, shops and bars. The main street boasts an impressive church. San Jose is very much still a traditional Ibizan village where you will hear the church bells chime every morning and where the old men of the village sit in cafes drinking their daily brandy.

Cala Jondal is a ten-minute drive from the villa. It is a very beautiful beach, surrounded by fragrant pines and rocky Jurassic cliffs. It is very popular with boat owners, A-listers, celebrities, and the super-rich and is definitely one of the more upmarket beaches on Ibiza. The white pebbly beach is built up with sandy parts by the beach clubs, and there is easy access to the water with little bridges and ramps. The restaurants are extremely popular so you should book, especially at weekends. There is also a massage area and the excellent Tropicana Ibiza beach club, as well as the VIP hangout, Blue Marlin. Blue Marlin Ibiza is the ultimate VIP beachside watering hole in Ibiza, a popular destination for the rich and famous with official Blue Marlin water taxis, phenomenal dishes in the restaurant, live music, regular house and techno DJ guest spots, cool chill-out zones, party areas and the famous Blue Marlin girls weaving through the crowd working their PR magic or dancing on the roof. There are also other fabulous beach clubs and restaurants on Cala Jondal.

Aside from the incredible nightlife, Ibiza is also known for its holistic spa and relaxation scene. There are many spas offering yoga, pilates, meditation and beauty and wellbeing spa packages. Some of the best spas in Ibiza include Pure Seven at Cala Conta, Hacienda Na Xamena at Puerto de San Miguel, Aguas de Ibiza at Santa Eulalia, Ibiza Gran Hotel in Ibiza Town, Insoltel Fenicia Prestige at Santa Eulalia and Atzaro at San Lorenzo.

It is also worth exploring the inland landscapes of the island, sprinkled with small white houses and some archaeological sites. The island boasts two nature reserves, Ses Salines and Cala d’Hort. Parc Natural de Ses Salines is a spectacular, peaceful day trip. Its wetlands are home to over two hundred species of birds. The sparkling salt pans and breathtaking sandy beaches are a sight to see. The sunsets are mesmerizing, as are the flocks of migrating hot-pink flamingoes that arrive in the park between August and October for the winter. There are coves to visit, including Cova Santa cave, a beautiful natural grotto. Horse riding is popular, with several riding schools offering treks. You might even be lucky enough to experience some traditional folk dancing when traditional costumes are worn.

Sa Casilla is brilliant for families and large groups. With an impressive, extensive garden, an enormous, beautiful pool and total seclusion, it is just great. The property is within easy reach of some of Ibiza’s best beaches. The island is brimming with fabulous beaches, some sandy and others attractive with white pebbles. Some are very busy and highly organised with beach clubs, watersports and much activity such as Cala Jondal. Others are much quieter and probably more child-friendly. Some have children’s playgrounds. Some of the most popular beaches for families are Cala Bassa, Es Cana, Cala Vadella, Cala Llonga, the Portinatx Beaches and Cala Tarida. Es Cana is also home to the biggest hippy market on the island. Ibiza has strong artistic roots dating back to the early ’60s when artisans, painters and designers flocked to the island. The Punta Arabi Hippy Market takes place each Wednesday and boasts countless stalls huddling beneath the shade of pine trees. You will find items from all over the world. There is a children’s area where they can make their own souvenirs.

Aquarium Cap Blanc is a lovely aquarium and recuperation centre for sea turtles outside San Antonio. It is situated in a sea cave where local fishermen used to set their lobster traps. Five openings in the rocks allow seawater to flow freely in and out of the cave, so it is the perfect temperature for the animals living inside. There is a range of marine species, including octopus, grouper, rays, morays and conger.

Children aged twelve and over that enjoy horse riding can visit Horse Valley, a stable that rescues mistreated horses and ponies. You can take half or full-day treks in the countryside or on beaches. Younger children can enjoy a horse ride in the countryside with Active Ibiza. The children’s package includes basic tuition in the paddock before a gentle trek on small horses.

The Aguamar Water Park in Playa d’en Bossa offers a selection of thrilling slides, chutes, tubes and pools for all ages. Another popular option is a visit to the fascinating Can Marca Caves. The series of eerie caverns are full of stalagmites and stalactites with multi-coloured lights that light the path. The tour ends with spectacular music and a light show with a 30ft water cascade.

From the port in Ibiza Town, you can take some boat trips, and from San Antonio, you can take a glass-bottomed Capitan Nemo boat trip with fabulous views of the seabed and marine life and stops for swimming and snorkelling.

Go Karts Santa Eulalia boasts a circuit of more than 300 metres. In addition to the adult karts, they had baby karts for young ones aged three and over and children’s karts for those aged seven and over. It is great fun for the whole family. Children also love the Acrobosc Ibiza Adventure Park, an obstacle course featuring rope circuits for everyone aged three and over, all set within a pine tree forest. Three circuits of different abilities are comprised of ziplines, trampolines, slides, nets, ladders, climbing walls, tightropes and rope bridges. The tourist train that runs around the town, taking four different trips, is also popular. Can Muson is a farm near Santa Eulalia where children can feed the animals and take tours.
