Nestled in countryside on the edge of San Carlos village and set within lush gardens, Casa Daneille is an enchanting villa that’s full of rustic charm.

Reflecting the leafy and earthy beauty of its surroundings, this holiday home’s décor and access to outside spaces is like a breath of fresh air. Casa Daneille features immaculate white walls throughout and furnishings made from natural materials in every room.

The accommodation in this traditional Ibizan home is set across one floor with different heights. The spacious open plan living space has a lovely flow. By the main patio doors sits an area with comfortable sofa, wooden footstools and television. Sharing the space is a working stove, perfect for creating cosy evenings in. The beautiful kitchen has a charming country house feel and is fully equipped with modern facilities, as well as access to a pantry. A large dining table seats up to six people and is conveniently located for serving meals as quickly as possible.

The main bedroom has a double bed and an air-conditioned en-suite shower room. There’s also a bedroom with single bed which is connected to a bedroom that features two trundle beds. The bedroom with trundle beds has independent access and both have use of a bathroom with shower.

The villa is set within extensive grounds and enjoys a spacious terrace that’s accessed directly from many rooms inside. A lovely seating area is partially covered and provides a well-positioned and shaded area to take in country views. Al fresco meals can be enjoyed at the large dining table that will seat the whole family, with a portable barbecue close by. A smaller table and chairs provides a quieter spot to start mornings with a coffee and traditional pastry.

The main attraction of the terrace is the private swimming pool that’s surrounded by a selection of sun loungers. This area offers idyllic views of the surrounding countryside and hills beyond. The walled, Mediterranean gardens are a delight to stroll around and make you feel as if you’ve discovered a private, lush paradise.

Take a short stroll from the villa and you’ll arrive into the heart of San Carlos. It’s a small but popular village, having been a hippy haven since the 60s and 70s. There’s a lovely, laid-back atmosphere wherever you go, with a sense of time stood still in many areas. Some remote houses don’t even receive post and have to collect it from letter boxes that are built into a wall at a local bar. Amenities to be found in the village include restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and a small range of shops. There’s also a typical Ibizan whitewashed church to visit, as well as a colourful weekly hippy market that’s held every Saturday.

Cala Llenya is just over a 5-minute drive away from the villa and is a great place to enjoy a day out by the sea with the family. With white sands and clear, shallow waters, it’s ideal for relaxing on the beach and swimming or snorkelling. There are picnic areas under the pine trees that dot the valley behind the beach, as well as restaurants if you prefer to sample some local food. Cala Llenya never gets too crowded, so it’s an ideal alternative to some of the busier beaches during peak season.

Around 20 minutes north of the villa is Ibiza Horse Valley, close to the village of San Juan. Meet your instructors in the village and then head into the valley to be introduced to their group of rescue horses. Groups of up to eight people can enjoy this unforgettable experience for around four hours, which includes grooming your own horse and going out on a 2-hour ride around the mountains.

THE REGION

Pretty, convenient and family-friendly, the northern village of San Carlos is one of the most charming villages on the island. Once the hippie heart of the island, there is plenty of history soaked into its streets and today still boasts a wonderfully bohemian vibe.

There is a good selection of restaurants and bars - they all have one thing in common; a friendly, welcoming atmosphere; it is easy to get into a conversation here. The surrounding shops invite you to browse through colourful fashion or householding items, here you can find nice souvenirs at reasonable prices.

Nearby beaches include the diminutive and lovely Cala Mastella, Pou des Lleo and the dramatic Cala Boix. Oh, and don’t forget to try the amazing ice cream at Vicio on the main street.

Acrobosc Ibiza is an exciting outdoor activity park around 10 minutes away from the villa by car. There are courses that range from beginner level to advanced, so it’s ideal for children of all abilities and ages. Helpful instructors will lead and assist through activities such as high rope obstacles and zips wires that make the most of the beautiful woodland setting.

Security deposit €1000 paid via a link directly to the property management company and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection

End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning , laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal will be charged against the security deposit.

- Complete cleaning every 7 nights, with change of sheets and towels also included in the rental price.
- Change of towels midweek for stays of at least one week also included in the rental price.

    We thought the villa was charming and really well equipped.
    Really pretty planting and patio.
    Good location with lovely town and great restaurant a short walk away.
    Pool a good size for 5.
    Concierge organised extra sun bed for us.
    Wouldn’t recommend K10 car hire.

    Everything! This beautiful country finca just a 5 min walk into San Carlos to cafes and restaurants is such a hidden gem. The finca has everything you need and the pool and outdoor area perfect for relaxing. We will miss it dearly.

    The garden en terrace are nice and the walking distance to the village san Carlos with nice restaurants is very easy. we liked the big bathroom and the full equipped kitchen.

    The villa is perfectly loctaced close to the village of San Carlos. The sunsets and views were brilliant, overlooking the hills to the west. Perfect for onetwo couples,a small family.
