Situated on the picturesque west coast of Ibiza in the beautiful family-friendly resort of Cala Tarida, Villa Avenc is a stunning four-bedroom villa that takes luxury and comfort to the next level. Spread over two spacious storeys and featuring light, modern and neutral decor throughout, Villa Avenc promises a holiday you’ll never forget, with floor-to-ceiling glass doors to showcase spectacular ocean views and luxurious amenities and extras. The villa’s living space has plush cream sofas and armchairs for relaxing in front of the satellite TV or enjoying the fabulous home-cinema system and contemporary-style furniture for a high-end home-from-home feel.
There is ample dining space at the beautifully crafted dinner table and an incredibly well-equipped kitchen that offers plenty of food preparation space and top-of-the-range appliances such as an integrated oven and microwave, fridge and dishwasher, as well as all the cookware, crockery and utensils you’ll need to cater to you and your guests during your stay. The villa also has a washing machine and dryer so that you can do laundry during your stay, allowing you to pack a little lighter and save some room in your suitcase for all those souvenirs!
Villa Avenc features three double bedrooms and a twin room. All are bright and spacious and complete with fitted wardrobes and soft, neutral decor for a restful and relaxing ambience. One of the double bedrooms has a separate entrance from the terrace and benefits from having its own bathroom with shower, making it ideal for those who want extra space and privacy. For your convenience, there are three more bathrooms; two more with shower facilities and one with a bathtub - perfect for larger family groups.
Villa Avenc is set against a backdrop of lush pine forests and features beautiful and functional outdoor spaces that are just as modern and luxurious as the interior. Guests here can enjoy their own private saltwater infinity pool, which is easily accessible by Roman steps, as well as loungers on which to relax and shaded seating areas for reading or enjoying a brunch or a pre-dinner drink. A romantic pergola offers the perfect spot for indulging in some alfresco dining, made possible by the villa’s modern barbecue facilities before you all retire to the chill-out zone to enjoy the warm evening in authentic Ibiza style.
What you should know…
- One of the villa’s double bedrooms is accessible from the terrace and has its bathroom, so it is perfect for any members of the group who wants some extra privacy
- This part of the island is quieter and more family-friendly than some of the more vibrant ‘party’ regions, so if it's a clubbing holiday you’re after, this might not be the best spot for you
- The private pool is easily accessible but has no safety fence, so caution is advised if the kids are playing in the vicinity
- Several steps both inside and out make Villa Avenc less suitable for those with mobility issues and could pose a risk to very young children who are unsteady on their feet

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa AvencCala Moli is a peaceful and tranquil alternative to some of the livelier resorts in Ibiza, with its beautiful sandy bays and quiet, family-friendly atmosphere. You’ll find some great opportunities along the coast for bathing and relaxing and for enjoying water sports such as jet-skiing, kayaking and snorkelling - so you’re sure to find something the whole family will enjoy. There are good amenities at the beach here, including sunbeds and parasols, as well as public toilets and places to buy refreshments. The resort is small, but don’t let that fool you; for what it lacks in size, it more than makes up for in looks! Cala Tarida boasts long, white sandy stretches and crystal clear azure waters surrounded by pine-covered hills, and its south-facing location means that it is bathed in sunshine from morning until sunset. It’s worth noting that the sunsets seen from here are some of the most spectacular on the island, so be sure to take some in while you are here!
You won’t find any nightclubs on this part of the island, but there are plenty of beachside restaurants and bars to enjoy. Whether you want a quick snack, a three-course meal, or an exclusive fine dining experience, you’ll find something here to suit all tastes. There is also a nearby supermarket to make self-catering a breeze and shops right on the beach where you can buy inflatables, snorkelling gear, buckets and spades and beach balls to entertain the kids on the beach.
Nearby Cala Moli beach is well worth a visit while you are in the region. This popular wedding location is a natural beach tucked away from the crowds in a beautiful pebbly cove and is a haven of seclusion, peace and quiet. You won’t find the usual rows of loungers or parasols here, but there are still some fabulous amenities, including a bar/restaurant with a swimming pool. The sea bed at Cala Moli is excellent for snorkelling, although it’s worth noting that it is quite rocky, so beach shoes are advised.
The nearby village of San Jose is worth a visit during your stay - especially if you are something of a foodie - as it boasts some excellent restaurants, shops and bars, including pizza parlours, cocktail bars and high-end gourmet restaurants. Souvenir hunters won’t be disappointed either; the village has plenty of shops and boutiques selling traditional ceramics, colourful Ibizan fashions, and even toys, and from Easter to October, the market held in the centre of the village aims to promote the island’s local products and traditions. There are stalls offering organic produce such as homemade bread and pastries, fruits and vegetables, and local artists come here to sell their paintings, sculptures and handicrafts.

THE REGION
Declared a ‘natural’ beach by the town of San Jose, Cala Moli is a lovely, pebbly cove tucked away from crowds and lacking in the usual rows of sun loungers, parasols or noisy hotels. Though secluded and tranquil, Moli also offers some fabulous amenities, including a bar/restaurant with its own swimming pool. The sea bed is quite rocky and excellent for snorkelling in crystal clear, clean waters.

Best Suited For: All AgesVilla Avenc’s peaceful, family-friendly location, private pool, indoor entertainment system and the addition of a twin room make it a good choice for those travelling with children. There is plenty of space for the kids to play and explore, shaded areas so you can keep them out of the sun when needed, and plenty of space to dine all together as a family, both indoors and out.
The villa is situated in the quiet and family-friendly resort of Cala Tarida near Cala Moli beach and is well suited to those looking to enjoy a relaxing and fun holiday with the kids. You’ll be spoiled for choice when it comes to finding somewhere sunny and sandy to spend time as a family, with several fantastic beaches in the immediate area. Cala Conta is one such beach that is popular with families, thanks to great local amenities such as bars and restaurants and a beach boutique. There are lifeguards here, and access for the disabled and pushchairs is good, making it a good choice for family members of all ages. Here you’ll be able to hire sun loungers and parasols so that you can relax in comfort while the kids play, and if you’re feeling particularly adventurous, it’s possible to rent jet skis along the beach.
Cala Conta is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, with several different areas to explore, including rocky outcrops that are perfect for snorkelling, stretches of fine, white sand, and areas of rocky coastline. The water here is crystal clear and shallow, so it is ideal for young children who want to paddle and splash around. It’s worth noting that the currents here are very strong once you get out into the open sea, so it’s advised that even experienced swimmers avoid trying to swim to the small offshore islands.

Wonderful villa
The villa is in a perfect location in a quiet forest area close to Cala tarida. The place is only 20 minutes drive from the airport and 5 to the nearest town.

Amazing views and perfect location
Lovely location and views were out of this world, lovely and quite fine with children and a lovely quiet well kept pool. The villa is full equipped and we required nothing.
