Boasting a spectacular private pool set in jaw-dropping grounds, Villa Mairena is a luxurious large home just a stone’s throw from the picturesque Mijas Golf Club and 7 km from the beautiful beaches of the Costa del Sol!
Your magnificent lounge is the epitome of cosy, with several plush sofas in front of the immense TV to one side, and a separate sofa overlooking your exquisite garden to the other. For the budding chefs of the group, you can prepare all kinds of snacks, feasts and treats in your fully-equipped kitchen with all modern appliances and tons of space, and you can enjoy these delicious meals at this incredible formal dining area for 12! Head down to the lower level to your fantastic games room for all ages, with a Satellite TV and PlayStation 4.
You’ll find the first three of your six bedrooms as soon as you enter the villa, with the remaining three downstairs. All are superbly modern, with a tasteful, minimalist style and include features such as fitted wardrobes and even garden access from the master suite! Five of the six can be prepared as either a double or twin room, while the sixth is a dazzling double! Accompanying the bedrooms are two shared bathrooms as well as two incredible ensuites, all of which feature a fantastic walk-in rain-shower for your total, blissful comfort.
For the jewel in the crown of this superb home, head out into your landscaped gardens. Immediately on your breath-taking terrace you can enjoy a little relaxation amid the casual seating, or else even picturesque alfresco dining with unforgettable views. A large barbecue and tons of seating promise hours of entertainment and contentment on the terrace. Then, of course, there’s your immense swimming pool complete with a whirlpool at one end, around which are several loungers for all your sunbathing desires!
For the youngsters there’s a large trampoline and a games area with football goals and basketball nets, so they can burn off all their energy in a safe and fun environment. Indeed, this home is a simply fabulous choice for an active group, with its very own fitness park with all kinds of strength training and calisthenics equipment!
Tucked in a perfectly peaceful part of the Costa del Sol, you’ll find restaurants, a supermarket and not one but two 18-hole golf courses within just a short walk. The coast itself is less than 15-minutes away and is famous for its gorgeous, sandy beaches, meanwhile there are tons of opportunities for safe, scenic bicycle rides on these quiet country roads!

About the surrounding area of Villa MairenaNestled amid the white-washed villages of the Mijas municipality, Villa Mairena is in a breath-takingly beautiful location on the Costa del Sol, within walking distance of Mijas Golf Course!
Mijas comprises both the Mijas Pueblo on the mountain-side and Mijas Costa, a stretch of roughly 12 km of picturesque beaches leading into verdant pine forests and striking hillsides of white houses. It includes La Cala de Mijas which is the main beach resort, the two smaller resorts of Riviera del Sol and Calahonda, the thriving city of Fuengirola, and finally Las Lagunas, the more industrial and most populated area of Mijas.
Meanwhile, nearby Marbella is a little bigger and busier, with a traditional and beautiful old town, and holds many Michelin starred restaurants and world-renowned beaches where one can soak up the sun and enjoy a cocktail at a beachfront bar! It has a very rich history, visible in the many ruins throughout the winding cobbled streets of its Old Town.
The Costa del Sol itself is mostly peaceful and quiet, as although there is a good amount of tourism, largely for the fantastic beaches and warm climate (the average water temperature year-round is 18°C!), visitors tend to stick to the highly developed and bustling south-western part, leaving the stunning mountains inland largely untouched and peaceful year-round.
The region of Andalucía is culturally diverse and has a perfectly varied landscape, where picturesque beaches, ancient cities and desserts meet the incredible Sierra Nevada mountain range, which includes both the most southerly ski resort in Europe and the highest point of continental Europe!
