With amazing sea and mountain views that stretch all the way to Gibraltar and the African coast, the villa has five private terraces to take it all in. Located close to the centre of Marbella, Villa Cezar has over 6000 square metres of manicured lawn and garden space that envelops a natural lake-style swimming pool. Enter through the stone walkway to reach the spacious grounds.
The private pool is a stunning deep blue that slopes gently at one side - swim peacefully and enjoy the calm atmosphere. Sunbeds are placed along one side, ideal for soaking up the Spanish sunshine. The lush garden is filled with lemon trees, olive groves, colourful flowers and cacti.
The interiors seamlessly blend traditional design with modern furnishings to create a space that is truly unique. There are three distinct zones within the villa, including two living spaces and two kitchens. It's the perfect villa for families travelling together - with lots of places to socialise yet plenty of breathing space.
In the main living room, there is a striking, modern fireplace that stretches up to the ceiling. It contrasts against the heritage-style exposed stone walls inside. Swathes of the villa has open sides, to allow easy access to the terrace and grounds and make the most of the sunshine and balmy air.
With bright splashes of orange, yellow and plum in the chairs and soft furnishings, the room has a homely, comforting atmosphere. Cosy white sofas provide a space to unwind as a family, while lots of oversized houseplants bring a little of the fresh greenery in.
The kitchen is fully equipped and styled in dark wood with more splashes of orange throughout - such as the display of oranges and the russet casserole dish on display. Stylish bar stools rest at the white countertop. Throughout the whole villa, plenty of art and sculptures are dotted around, which really adds character to the space.
Upstairs, the second living space has a sofa with retro-style dark patterned sofas, fresh white walls and across the open plan space, a smaller yet well-equipped kitchen with a dining space with chairs that match the living room. The dining table is made of futuristic, twisted silver - alternatively, guests can dine alfresco and enjoy the sunshine.
The bedrooms are decorated in an eclectic style, with stunning antique-style wooden furniture and low, modern beds with colourful bedspreads. Vintage tapestries and a variety of art adorns the walls, while some rooms have beautiful rugs on the floor. There are six bedrooms at this villa, many of which have stylish mosaic decoration on the walls. Some have bathtubs, while others have glass-encased showers.

- Families with young children will want to take care due to the open sided nature of the villa.

Nestled between lush vegetation and with superb views over the glittering sea, Casa Balata is close to several golf clubs and the beach. The Santa Maria Golf Club has several 18-hole courses, where guests encounter challenges like navigating the ball over lakes. Set within a forest of cork oak and pine trees, players will enjoy views of the Mediterranean Sea from all of its courses.
Don Carlos tennis club is also just 10km from the villa - the club pride themselves on having the best clay courts in the Costa del Sol. There are Rebound Ace courts ideal for seasoned players, while the sports complex has a multisports court for football and basketball. The club is part of a resort surrounded by beautiful countryside.
Playa de la Fontanilla is a gorgeous beach within a 20 minute drive of the villa. This family-friendly beach is close to Marbella town centre and walkable from there, so guests can explore the Old Town and spend the afternoon soaking up the sun and splashing around in the serene waters. The beach runs from Marbella Marina to the promenade and is over 1km long.
Closer to the nearby holiday area of Mijas, Fuengirola beach has 7km of soft golden coastline, with separate areas for watersports and bathing. Stretching from Sohail castle to Torreblanco, this beach is family-friendly and has plenty of chiringuitos - cafes on the sand, that often sell fresh seafood. You can go wakeboarding, parasailing water-skiing and tubing at this beach - perfect for adrenaline lovers.
Marbella's Old Town has something for everyone. There's interesting architecture and a plethora of art galleries, bars and restaurants. Explore the Orange Square, a picturesque Andalucian plaza filled with orange trees and plants. Visitors can watch the world go by from a cafe with a glass of wine or coffee in hand.
In this area, guests can also see St Mary's Church, with its beautiful baroque red stone entrance. Fans of Dali will love Avenida del Mar in central Marbella. Admire sculptures by Dali all along the boardwalk, or rest on one of the many benches and soak up the history.
Marbella is fantastic for shopping, with everything from high street names to designer labels - so you should leave some room in your suitcase when packing! Additionally, there are so many unique artisan items, pottery and homewares on offer. Puerto Banus has a lively street market on Saturdays, where guests can look for treasures to take home. There are over 120 stalls here where you can pick up everything from fruit and veg to antique furniture.

Holidays in the Costa del Sol are perennially popular for families travelling with children - and for good reason. From beach days to aqua parks, there's plenty to see and do in Marbella.
A day at the beach is what many children dream of - Fontanilla beach is perfect for kids, who can enjoy building sandcastles and swimming in the sea. This beach is popular with locals and tourists alike yet is not too busy. Kids can also stroll along the boardwalk and enjoy the atmosphere with an ice cream in hand.
Bioparc Fuengirola is a zoo with a difference - an unwavering focus on ethics. It is home to 200 animal species that live within large enclosures and are cared for by experts. The animals here include Sumatran tigers, meerkats, gorillas and gibbons and they come from Southeast Asia, Madagascar, Equatorial Africa and the Indo-Pacific. There's a simulated tropical forest and rivers, and a focus on natural habitats for the animals.
Marbella has some great activities for children including the Kids Spa, which has activities and treatments on offer focusing on wellness, beauty and craft. Children can take part in t-shirt making classes, try out modelling and even get a massage. At The Food Room, there are cookery classes for kids from six upwards. Meanwhile, parents can choose an adults' class, so the whole family can get involved.
Parque Acuatigo - a fun water park - is located in nearby Mijas. With a thrilling kamikaze ride, a wave pool and five water slides of various speeds and depths, it's bound to a big hit with kids. While they have fun in the water, parents can relax in the tropical sunshade area. There's also mini golf for kids and plenty of live entertainment to keep the whole family happy.
For an adventure playground, check out San Pedro Alcántara, which has three courses of varying skill levels. Kids can fly through the trees on a zip line and go rollerblading and biking with their new friends. There are breathtaking views of the mountains and the sea from here. For little ones, there are a series of paddling pools.
