Simple and modern, you can walk in the front door of Villa Suro and settle straight into holiday mode! This quiet villa is located in the housing development of Font de Sant Llorenc, 2 km from Cala Canyelles Beach and 8 km from the centre of Tossa de Mar.
The villa offers a sequence of indoor and outdoor living spaces, with various doors in and out from different rooms within the property. Furnished in a humble style, this two-storey villa feels bright and spacious, with ample room for six guests to spread out and relax, spending time as a group as well as enjoying private moments individually.
The villa's ground floor includes the main living space, with a fully equipped kitchen, breakfast bar, dining area and access to the sunny patio. An open archway leads through to the lounge so a conversation can easily flow between the two spaces. Furnished with a cosy sofa positioned in front of a warming fireplace, this bright room has a more homely feel; a place you can put your feet up and simply relax. The entire ground floor has a very social feel, with guests gathering around the breakfast bar to cook and chat and others curled up on the sofas catching up on some TV, all co-existing in one space even when occupied with different things. Each of the three bedrooms is light and airy, offering you space to rest and restore after a busy day exploring the Costa Brava. There is a double room on each floor, as well as an additional twin room on the first floor.
Even with the picturesque Costa Brava beaches a short drive away, guests always enjoy the private swimming pool! Whether it's kids splashing about or adults taking a quiet moment to cool off, it is hard not to relax with a pool in front of you. Positioned in the middle of the garden, you can walk barefoot across the grass, picking a sun lounger to lounge on and opening the pages of your favourite book. With a barbecue and space to dine al-fresco, you can spend all day outdoors, making the most of the fantastic Mediterranean climate!

Stretching from Blanes to the French border, the Costa Brava has become more popular each passing year, with golden sandy beaches, quiet coves and energetic seaside towns drawing visitors in. The family-friendly atmosphere makes the area popular with families and groups of friends alike. The summer months see the towns bustling with activity; the streets are alive with local festivals and music performances. In contrast, the winter months offer a much quieter and more tranquil atmosphere to enjoy, with the Mediterranean climate offering good weather all year round!
Cala Canyelles Beach, which is just a short drive from Villa Suro, can be recognised by its coarse white sand and crystal-clear seawater. Sheltered and relaxing, you can rent parasols and deck chairs to make your day comfortable. Those who want a bit more activity and adventure can enjoy pedal boats, parasailing, water-skiing and canoeing, all from the beach! With the beachfront restaurant also serving fresh fish and huge paellas, we can’t think of a much better day out!
Tossa de Mar is a beautiful walled medieval town that we would recommend visiting even if you weren’t staying so close! A little quieter than the busy neighbouring town of Lloret de Mar, this historic town speaks of the area’s history and culture; think quaint tapas bars, authentic restaurants and a bit of charm and character in every direction you look! Seeking shade in the afternoon, you can explore the maze of narrow cobbled streets, exploring between the charming old houses, as you take photos of every nook and cranny! The old town (Vila Vella) is located within the medieval walls, and you can walk along the walls, finding beautiful views of the city and the Sea. You will find plenty of shops, supermarkets and restaurants within the town, catering to your every need.

The twin bedroom on the first floor is well suited to kids, perfect for siblings to share, whilst older children are sure to enjoy one of the two double bedrooms. A cot can be provided for your convenience at a small additional cost. The spacious and open plan living spaces also work great for family dynamics, with plenty of room for you to all spread out, finding quiet corners when you need a little more privacy and plenty of space to enjoy time together as a group. Outside, the barbecue and dining area are always popular with kids, giving you the chance to cook and dine outdoors, soaking in the relaxing Mediterranean atmosphere. The private swimming pool is of course a highlight for little ones, however with no fence around the pool the smallest children may need some supervision.
The villa’s location situates you a short drive from the family friendly Cala Canyelles beach and the walled town of Tossa de Mar. The beach offers pedal boats, parasailing, water-skiing and canoeing much to any kids delight and the seawater is clean and safe, so you can be reassured your little ones are secure. Sun cream is a must in the summer months as the afternoons can get scorching, particularly for kids!
The historic walled town of Tossa de Mar will impress kids endlessly as they run around the cobbled streets and climb the walls to walk along the top! The narrow lanes can be tricky with a pram, so it is best to be prepared. With a variety of restaurants, you can pick the cuisine your kids prefer, and many of the eateries offer children’s menus.
Spain has become well known for its fantastic water parks over the years, often providing a highlight for little kids, teenagers and adults alike! Water World, a short drive from the villa is known as the best waterpark on the coastline and one of the biggest in Europe, so we would recommend a visit!
